Mum has been in Belmont now for exactly a year after a stroke. She has dementia, and it has been really hard for us to take in and for me personally found it heartbreaking to cope. Having to deal day to day with her problems, nothing is too much for them.
The past year has been really hard due to Covid, and wasn’t ideal as a couple of weeks after she went in there Lockdown came.
She has deteriorated quickly in the last year and now has no mobility at all.
Every one of the team deserves recognition for their care, love and friendliness for what they do and I sincerely appreciate everything they do to caring for my mum.

My mum entered the home last year and settled in really quickly. She has been really happy at the home and is well looked after. All the staff are very friendly and have coped really well with the Covid situation. I would highly recommend Belmont.

Everyone at Belmont goes above and beyond for my nan. She is well looked after and loves getting her nails done. There’s always some activity going on to keep her occupied and she’s looking the best she has in a while. Thank you so much for everything that you do for her. I and my family really appreciate it so much.
Thank you for your kind review of Belmont House Care & Nursing Home; we appreciate all comments and feedback and are delighted to care for your Grandma as part of our Belmont family.
The carers who look after my mum at Belmont are amazing. Some of them have worked there for many years which speaks volumes. The manager of Belmont always has time to discuss any worries families may have. The carers treat mum with dignity, patience and kindness. The food is plentiful and home-cooked. I finally have peace of mind knowing that mum is safe and well looked after. Thank you to all the staff at Belmont.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review for Belmont House, we appreciate all comments and feedback. I will pass your kind words on to the staff team.
A very happy comfortable place for Mum to be. Home from home, with added peace of mind. Mum has specific needs and these are well cared for. Mum has started smiling again and with the help and support she receives she's happy.

My mother has advanced dementia and has been in the home for several years now. She is well cared for by a team of very dedicated people. There are activities to keep her stimulated and she appears to be happy and content. I cannot recommend Belmont House any higher.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for Belmont House. It is a privilege to care for your mother as part of our Belmont House family.
All the staff and nurses at Belmont House are amazing, going above and beyond to help those in their care. They have ensured my dad's last few weeks were comfortable and happy, taking extremely good care of him and making sure he was happy. I have been so impressed by how the staff have kept in contact with me and made sure I knew how my dad was doing and if there was new medical information I needed to know. In my dad's last few days we were allowed to see him as often as we wanted, spending those precious hours shared with my dad are something my mum and I will always be grateful for.
My wife has been in Belmont House since April 2019 and throughout the time and since then; has been excellently looked after. I cannot praise the staff there enough. Please tell them how much they are appreciated
All I have found is a hardworking caring staff, who do all they can to make all the residents happy and content from day to day. All the staff and management I have talked to and observed all do the best they can for the residents in their care. I have nothing but praise for all the staff who work there, who do a difficult job under trying circumstances.
Staff are brilliant even though they are always busy. They always have a smile on their face and patient. Nothing is too much trouble and can't fault them.
Care of my husband was faultless and thoughtful on my arrival to visit my husband.
Always very pleasant staff who take care looking after my mum with dignity and pride. In a very clean environment.
Mum has been in Belmont for 3 months and is very happy at the home. The best thing for me is it has given me total peace of mind as I know she is safe and well cared for. The first thing you notice on entry is how homely the place is. The staff are friendly, caring and always on hand. The activities are fun and varied, Mum enjoys her trips out. The residents are always well fed and given drinks frequently. I like the fact I can visit at any time. As a family we don't think we could have picked a better place for our mum.
Think the care is first class.
Staff always cheerful and courteous, always willing to help, sometimes even helping and supporting patients in their own time.
Mum has been here for 5 and 1/2 years. She is safe, well cared for and happy. The staff are friendly and supportive and Mum's needs are well met. Recently her dementia has progressed to the extent that she has now been moved to the nursing wing so her care needs can be better provided for. We are very pleased that she has not had to move to another home for this to be provided.
The main strength of Belmont is the staff, predominantly locally born people, who care for the residents as if the resident is part of their own family.
The home is good due to the fact that it is close to home. My friend, who is resident, did select the home on her own when times were good. I do think the home has become a better place under your control.
Having both my parents in Belmont House Nursing Home on different floors, I see the care and attention the staff give to them both. I am always contacted if either have any problems or illnesses. It gives me comfort to know they are being looked after 24/7. Thank you.
