My mum has been a resident at Chapel Lodge for five weeks. She has received very good care from the staff there, who are always pleasant and attentive and take care of all Mum's needs. Her room is lovely and a good size. The home is very clean. Management have been very supportive from our first visit and are very welcoming on our daily visits.
Thank you for taking the time and leaving a kind review. We will share it with the care team, support from families means a lot to us.
We are more than happy with the care my mum as received so far at Chapel Lodge . All staff have been kind, caring and considerate towards my mum, nothing seems too much trouble.

We were made to feel welcome and at ease from start to finish, and nothing was too much trouble. Our relative was only there a short time, but was looked after and cared for very well. The staff were wonderful with her and treated her with respect and dignity.

My husband was in for only 2 months before his death. He was treated with kindness and dignity by all members of staff. I was always welcomed and nothing was too much trouble, I would recommend Chapel Lodge to anyone.

Mum has only been in a short time, but we are very happy with her care. Staff are always very helpful and are happy to discus any concerns. Mum's not just left in a room, they encourage her to move and keep stimulated with activities, as her family we've no regrets of her moving into care, which was a big concern for us.

We take her for dinner and the meals a very good.
Her room could be cleaner.
Caring, respectful, and professional staff and management, nothing too much trouble. Clean environment and always has a pleasant happy atmosphere whenever I have visited. The carers interact with my husband which he loves, as he always wants to dance with them.
Thank you for your kind review; I will share it with the staff team.
I find the staff in this place friendly and helpful they frequently go above and beyond in their delivery of care to my Dad. Dad looks so much better since being a resident he isn't as sleepy and is more interactive with me and my sister and his memory seems better he even remembers to use his walking frame and the importance of wearing his slippers. He frequently says how nice the food is and he is constantly saying how nice the carers are.

Dad came into Chapel Lodge, a very scared, emotional man. He didn't want to give up his home but reluctantly agreed I couldn't care for him on my own any longer. Visiting him in his new home, with a park view was quite scary for us as I didn't know how he would be. Well, he was so, so happy, the staff there honestly are angels, dedicated to the residence. He is now saying "I can recommend this place" "It's wonderful" he cries with happiness. They look after him. The food looks delicious, he has cups of tea, cake, and meals. He got a cake with candles on his birthday. He even goes to the games room. He goes on the trips. I could go on - wonderful, kind, caring place - 100% perfect. Love it, Dad is happy.

Although both my parents are at times a challenge to keep happy, the care staff and management have been very accommodating to meet their needs. For example, they kindly converted two rooms next to each other into a bedroom and lounge so that they could be together and have their privacy. A particular member of staff went above and beyond to get them a two-seater settee to make it more comfortable and homely. It has taken time, but my parents now consider Chapel Lodge as their home, which is a testament to the care provided by the whole team.

My husband was discharged to Chapel Lodge from hospital on comfort care in November. On our first visit the care home manager was very supportive and helpful in helping us navigate this difficult change. He encouraged us to choose a suitable room and since then he has readily engaged with us any time we have had queries or questions. The team he manages seems to be happy in their work and the home is well run. The home has a lovely welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors alike. As a family we cannot fault his care at Chapel Lodge and the staff are excellent and work very hard at being resident-centred and respectful. All the staff we have encountered are efficient and very caring. They readily engage with all family members and are very welcoming. The home-cooked meals are excellent with good choices. A real home from home, would highly recommend. Thank you for all your hard work.

My sister has been a resident in Chapel Lodge for a couple of years now. All the staff make you feel welcome, are polite and friendly. They are approachable all the time to discuss my sister's care and will phone me is necessary. The staff all care in a professional way and when we are visiting, my sister will call out if a staff member is passing her room, every time they will call in say hello and greet her with a warm friendly smile. We know her dementia is worsening but the staff treat her with kindness, understanding and dignity. My sister always says they are looking after me here and if I need assistance there is someone there for me. Her room is clean and tidy and is personalised to make it more homely.
Thank you for your kind review, I will share it with the staff team.
My mum is treated with dignity and respect and this is very important to our family due to her dementia. I feel she is listened to and encouraged at all times. Activities are very good, including manicures and trips out.
I would recommend Chapel Lodge Care Home to anyone considering or requiring 24-hour care for themselves or family members.
Thank you for your kind review, I will share it with the staff team.
But I would also like to highly recommend Chapel Lodge as all the staff are very welcoming, friendly and professional. We would like to thank the nurses, carers, domestics and kitchen staff. Meals are home-cooked, nutritious meals.
Mum is happy living here too and Mum would like to say thank you too.
Thank you for your very kind review. We were pleased you all had a great time, I will share your review with our staff team who will appreciate it.
My mum has been in Chapel Lodge Care Home for a few weeks now, the staff and home manager are brilliant. I have visited and phoned several times and any issues are sorted out very promptly. The care staff manager is exceptional, she talks through any concerns I have about Mum and is very patient and understanding. Also, the handyman comes almost straight away to hang pictures and any other jobs that need doing in Mum's room. The home takes the residents out on trips every week, they have their own bus. I can't find any faults with the home at all.
Thank you for your kind review, I will share it with the staff team.
I would highly recommend Chapel Lodge because their care to all patients is outstanding and relatives who come to the home will have peace of mind knowing that the clerical and nursing staff are very helpful during these difficult times but treat all patients with respect and like to have a welcoming laugh now and again to cheer them up - so I'd like to say many thanks to you guys who do a fantastic job!

I would just like to thank all the family of staff who took care of my dad on end of life care until he sadly passed away peacefully in Chapel Lodge Care Home on the 10th of March, he was treated with kindness, respect and dignity during his stay there, the clerical staff and nursing staff were also kind and helpful to me and my family during a difficult time, with a welcomed laugh at a much needed time now and again! Thanks to all the staff who do a fantastic job!
Thank you for your positive feedback, I will pass this on to the staff.
