The care home is always friendly when we visit. Everyone seems happy. My mum has settled in well and seems to enjoy being here.
Thank you so much for sharing your positive feedback about your experience with our care home. We're thrilled to hear that you've noticed the friendly atmosphere during your visits and that everyone appears happy. It's wonderful to know that your mum has settled in well and is enjoying her time...
My nana was having a fantastic time singing and dancing to the singer, said she is the happiest she's been in a long time.
Dear Kerry, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience with us! We are delighted to hear that your nana had such a fantastic time singing and dancing to the singer during her stay at Eden Court Care Home. Creating moments of joy and happiness for our residents is at the heart of what...
I have no problems with the level of care given, if I had a problem I speak to the nurse in charge/next in charge and we sort it out.
Thank you so much for your review. Hopefully the meeting with you following the discussion we had will clearly display your thoughts about further development in IMC unit
My father-in-law has settled well. He was understandably unsettled at first and scared, he wasn’t walking when he arrived after a stay in hospital. As a family, we have visited regularly. We have given staff advice on his history and his likes/dislikes. Staff have always been polite and listened.
My father-in-law has progressed and is now back feeding himself more often and walking around independently. The staff have promoted this. On my visits, he will often go to the toilet with guidance, and now he is doing this regularly with staff, this wasn’t the case when he first arrived at the home. It’s great to see him more settled. I was fully aware that it would take time for him to settle in a new environment, and for both him and the staff to get to know each other.
There were times that I have felt some of his personal care was missed, such as not wearing socks, not having deodorant on and not having his teeth in. These needs are now being met and staff have been responsive to our requests. We fully accept as a family that at times dementia clients can be more challenging and some needs cannot be met.
I am pleased to see more activities for the residents. I think this is needed for this resident group. I can certainly see how the residents are benefitting from the improvements that are being made by the new management team.
I would also like to know all the staff better, perhaps name badges? It would be helpful to visitors and would give a more personal approach.
As a family, we have been able to visit whenever we like which we are most grateful for.
We're pleased to hear that he has settled well and that you've noticed significant progress in his mobility and independence. It's heartening to know that our staff's dedication and support have played a key role in his improvement, and we appreciate your recognition of their efforts. We value...
I was in Eden Court in Feb 2024, the staff were very good, nothing was too much for them and the physios were brilliant. The care I received was very good, the exercises the physios gave me I am doing now I'm home and they have helped me a lot, thank you, everyone was lovely.
Thank you for sharing your positive experience at Eden Court. We're delighted to hear that you found our staff attentive and caring. It's wonderful that the physiotherapy had a positive impact, and we're glad the exercises are benefiting you at home. Your kind words mean a lot, and we appreciate...
They take care of Mum very well.
Mum seems very happy.
All the staff are great and I’m pleased with the care that my mum is receiving at the care home. We are able to visit Mum whenever we want which is great.
Thank you for your kind words and positive feedback. We're delighted to hear that your mum is well taken care of and happy in our care home. Our dedicated staff is committed to providing excellent care, and we're pleased that you are satisfied with the service. You are always welcome to visit your mum, and we appreciate your trust in us. Best regards, Eden Court Care Home Management.
The level of care given to my father exceeded our expectations and was delivered by a very friendly attentive team of staff, many of whom had worked at Brackenbed for a long time. We appreciated the continuity of care that the established team was able to provide.
Communication between the staff and family was excellent at every stage of my father’s stay.
I would not hesitate to recommend Brackenbed to others.
Thank you to everyone at Bracken Bed View. My mum spent five weeks at Bracken Bed View after being released from hospital. Unable to move after knee replacement, with great help and support from carers and staff at Bracken Bed View she could leave and come home. My mum has only good things to say about Bracken Bed View, she has been well looked after, the place is clean and well-maintained and all the staff are friendly and helpful and work incredibly hard.
We are delighted to hear about your positive experience at Eden Court Care Home, formerly known as Pellon Care Cntre, Bracken Bed View. Providing exceptional care and support to our residents is our top priority, and we are thrilled that your mum felt well looked after during her stay. Our...
Excellent care, helpful staff and very friendly. If it was not for these helpful staff I do not think I would still be here and alive. I had given up hope of recovery before moving into Bracken Bed View. Excellent staff in all ways.
The signing in record book was full and when additional pages were requested the response was to write on the cardboard backing, very unprofessional and did not fill me with confidence.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. We are very sorry to hear of the concerns that you have raised. I am pleased to update that the intermediate care unit has recently been redecorated. The unit has a regular cleaning schedule in place, which is audited and monitored. It is...
My dad was in Bracken Bed and really enjoyed his stay. Staff were extremely kind, nothing was too much trouble and, in my dad's words, he had more care in 24 hours than 3 and a half weeks in hospital. Well done to all staff and management.
When we leave from our visit, we are happy knowing that our loved ones are cared for in every way.
I find my sister is well cared for. The staff are very good and always there to help me if needed.
Me and my husband visit a friend every two weeks and everything is excellent.
Since visiting has been allowed to start the staff have been very helpful and accommodating, with myself and all the family especially my Dad to start seeing Mum again.
Since we have been allowed to visit my mum-in-law, the staff have been extremely helpful in facilitating this and making it as straightforward as possible. Prior to being able to visit, they were able to facilitate Facetime calls which has been a godsend for my father-in-law. It is clear that my mum-in-law is loved and well looked after and has a good relationship with her carers.
Happy with everything.
After a recent hip replacement, I was put on the right path to recovery. Any problems, be it physical or mental, I was put on the right path and home with a care package.
Not see Mum for six weeks and not seen much of the home in the past 18-months due to Covid. This recipe is based on what little I've seen this visit. No major concerns over Mothers care.
Myself and my family have always been kept informed of any development or changes in my husbands care or any concerns they have. Liaising with GP, district nurses and social workers if necessary and informing me of the outcomes.
My husband has always received caring professional care.
