Eden Court Care Home is ideally located on the edge of Halifax and is easily accessible to the City Centre by public or private transport. Eden Court Care Home is 2 miles from Halifax bus station. Eden Court Care Home is close to local shops with a bus stop outside the home, making it easily accessible for visitors to pop in for a chat.

The care team offers 24-hour residential dementia care where they support residents to maintain their independence and encourage social activity. They also provide respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break. In the Oak (Brackn bed) View building, they provide nursing care and intermediate care as alternative to a hospital stay.

Eden Court Care Home is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide accommodation for up to 100 people who require nursing or personal care. The centre offers residential care for people who are living with dementia or a mental health condition. The Home is also registered to provide diagnostic and screening procedures, and can undertake the treatment of disease, disorder, or injury.

There are also two units under refurbishments, which will be commissioned soon – Cedar and Pine. Then this will make maximum capacity of 100 beds care home.

Short-term respite care is also available to give family or friends a well-earned break as well as specialist nursing care.

  • Local authority, NHS, Private, ICB, It is not operational policy to accept unplanned (or “emergency”) admissions to the Home. All enquiries for admission are coordinated by the Manager – who will undertake a preadmission assessment prior to any person being admitted to Eden court Care home. The purpose of the preadmission assessment is to assess a person’s care needs and establish whether the Home can provide the level of care and support necessary to meet the person’s needs.

Being a regular visitor to Pellon Care Centre for over 3 years, it never ceases to amaze me that the staff are consistently cheerful, considerate and compassionate to residents. It is a pleasure to visit and be welcomed as a member of the Pellon family. Mum can be very challenging at times, and she
is cared for, and nurtured by amazing people, with dignity and respect.
The care and attention mum (and family) have received from the staff at Pellon is amazing, the surroundings are comfortable and spotless, and we are extremely happy with every aspect of Mum's care. Thank You to the staff really doesn't seem to be enough.

My wife has been resident at Pellon Care Centre for over 2 years. I visit her on a regular basis and find her care to be of an excellent standard.
If I have had any problems, I have been able to approach the care staff (or senior management), at any time, and the problem has been looked into and sorted
out immediately.
I have had several meals with my wife at the care home and found the food served to be of a good standard.

Though the premises were clean and tidy, the staff were not good at relaying information to myself and other members of the resident's family. There were exceptions to this, but often, if asked a question by me, the staff member whom I asked would tell me I needed to speak to someone else. It seemed
that information was not being relayed well between staff at Bracken Bed, especially between the staff employed by 4 Seasons and the NHS staff.

Thank you so very much for the compassion and care with which all of you looked after my Mum for the time she was with you. All the staff were unfailingly friendly, helpful and informative at all time and superb professionals, often in difficult circumstances.

Because of poor CQC reviews, I was initially concerned when my father was sent to Brackenbed Intermediate Care Home following a long stay in the hospital.
His care was excellent. The nurses, therapists healthcare assistants and domestic staff were caring and professional, always positive.

Marvellous activities for this month for both the residents, their family and extended visitors. Well done all the staff for your enthusiasm and joining in, even when you were off duty, you came to support and entertain on all the occasions. My mum really enjoyed herself as did the other residents and

When my husband had to go into a care home, I had to look at care homes for him. They were so depressing. Then, by chance, I was driving up Pellon Lane and saw Four Seasons. I went to look around, thinking it would be another depressing place.. but no, not at all.


Pellon Manor is brilliant and really

welcoming. A home from home. My husband has been in Pellon Manor for over 6 years and I wouldn't put him anywhere else. I go to see my husband every day except for weekends. I see what goes on in the care home and they are such lovely people and the residents are truly well looked after. Even for me it's like going from my home to my other home.

I have only good things to say about the home. It is run like a home, not a business. It is a happy, loving environment where the residents are looked after in a kind and sympathetic way.


Nothing has been too much trouble, sorting our medication, appointments etc. Myself and my family have always

been made welcome, whatever time of day we visited. We are highly satisfied and would not like to place him anywhere else. The main thing being my husband is very happy there.

My wife as been at Pellon Manor Care Home for only a short while but the difference I have seen in her is heart warming.
On arrival from a previous care home, my wife could hardly walk and was quite aggressive. She is now quite settled and walking about thanks to the care and attention shown by the
staff.

Mum has only been in Birkshall Mews 2 weeks. In this short time I have found the staff very caring. Everyone is helpful and cheerful.


Two days before mum was due to arrive I took up and left some personal possessions. On the day mum arrived, the staff had put the pictures/shelves/ornaments on

the walls. Mum's room looked lovely and homely.
