Resident always appears well cared for. Staff helpful and courteous. It feels as if family is welcomed and important each time I visit.
Thank you to everyone at Bracken Bed View. My mum spent 3 weeks in Bracken Bed View after being released from hospital. She had very little mobility at the time and within 3 weeks with lots of help and support from the carers and staff at Bracken Bed View and a strong desire to be back in her own home she was able to leave and return home. My mum has only good things to say about Bracken Bed View, she was well looked after the place is clean and well kept and all the staff are friendly and helpful and work incredibly hard to attend to everyone's needs. On the day of her release, she was brought home by two carers who were very thorough in making sure she was mobile enough to be at home alone and she is very pleased to be back in her own home.
My dad has just spent a week at Pellon Care Centre, so my mum, who is his full-time carer could have a rest. We did not go inside, except for the reception area for drop off and pick up, so my impression is purely based upon the people we engaged with. The Business Development Manager organised my dad's stay and phoned multiple times. She is very likeable, showed understanding of my parent's situation and has been completely competent and reliable throughout, phoning after my dad's stay to find out how he was. Another staff member came to my mum and dad's house, prior to his respite. She was very caring and reassuring, answering all the questions we had with patience and empathy. They came to meet us when my dad went into respite and phoned afterwards with some follow up questions, about my dad's preferences and capabilities. She demonstrated genuine consideration for his welfare.
Thank you for your feedback on your dad's stay Gillian. We really appreciate you taking the time. We're so pleased that your dad had a great stay with us! We would love to see him again at some point in the future and as we are now able to accept visitors into the home, we can introduce you to our team. Best wishes from us all at Pellon.
My Father was diagnosed with a chest infection and very poorly with end of life care the next step. Due to the professional and caring nature of the staff, he is now sitting up eating and drinking again. This is all down to the staff and many thanks.
Caring towards my dad. Always phone with any changes.
My mother has been a resident at Pellon Care Centre since 2014. The staff are very cheerful and welcoming towards my visits and have kept me well informed during this lockdown period when I have not been able to visit because of my own circumstances. My mother appears happy and comfortable.
Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to share your experience of our home. We are pleased to learn it has been so positive and look forward to seeing you again soon. Take care.
At that point, and our experience since tells of a team of carers who are dedicated to the residents and their wider family. My dealings with management were open, honest and displayed a clear mindedness. The activities coordinator has been superb, facilitating Facetime.
We have every confidence that the care, support and comfort we expect for our loved ones will be fulfilled. Meals seem to be varied and very well presented, and the staff are wonderful with all residents.
Keep up the good work Pellon.

Very warm and welcoming first experience of a visitor to a care home, pleasant staff, helpful, kept up to date on Mum's progress.
Thank you for sharing your recent experience of our home. We are pleased that it has been so positive and look forward to seeing you again soon. Have a fantastic day.
The care and attention mum (and family) have received from the staff at Pellon is amazing, the surroundings are comfortable and spotless, and we are extremely happy with every aspect of Mum's care. Thank You to the staff really doesn't seem to be enough.

If I have had any problems, I have been able to approach the care staff (or senior management), at any time, and the problem has been looked into and sorted out immediately.
I have had several meals with my wife at the care home and found the food served to be of a good standard.
Thank you, Geoffrey, for letting us know how we are doing at Pellon Care Centre. The care and wellbeing of every resident is our number one priority and it is rewarding to have such positive feedback about how we are doing.
Though the premises were clean and tidy, the staff were not good at relaying information to myself and other members of the resident's family. There were exceptions to this, but often, if asked a question by me, the staff member whom I asked would tell me I needed to speak to someone else. It seemed that information was not being relayed well between staff at Bracken Bed, especially between the staff employed by 4 Seasons and the NHS staff.
Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to share your views. All of the staff are committed to providing the best possible care experience for all of our residents and we are disappointed to hear that you feel this has not happened in your case. We appreciate all of your...
Thank you so very much for the compassion and care with which all of you looked after my Mum for the time she was with you. All the staff were unfailingly friendly, helpful and informative at all time and superb professionals, often in difficult circumstances.
Thank you so much for your feedback about Pellon Care Centre. We are so pleased you felt your mum received great care and hope that her time at Pellon Care Centre did see some friendships flourish, especially with the care team.
His care was excellent. The nurses, therapists healthcare assistants and domestic staff were caring and professional, always positive.
I can’t thank them enough.

Marvellous activities for this month for both the residents, their family and extended visitors. Well done all the staff for your enthusiasm and joining in, even when you were off duty, you came to support and entertain on all the occasions. My mum really enjoyed herself as did the other residents and this was plain to see. Much appreciated.
Thank you, Dawn, for your wonderful feedback following your recent experience of Pellon Care Centre. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know how we are doing and we are pleased to hear your experience has been so positive. Your praise and kind comments about our home and our team really means a lot to us. Thank you once again. Have a fantastic day.
When my husband had to go into a care home, I had to look at care homes for him. They were so depressing. Then, by chance, I was driving up Pellon Lane and saw Four Seasons. I went to look around, thinking it would be another depressing place.. but no, not at all.
Pellon Manor is brilliant and really welcoming. A home from home. My husband has been in Pellon Manor for over 6 years and I wouldn't put him anywhere else. I go to see my husband every day except for weekends. I see what goes on in the care home and they are such lovely people and the residents are truly well looked after. Even for me it's like going from my home to my other home.
Thank you, Diane, for sharing your experience of Pellon Care Centre. We really do appreciate your praise and kind words about the home and the team here. It really means a lot to us and motivates us to do even more. Our number one priority is the care and wellbeing of every resident and to provide...
I have only good things to say about the home. It is run like a home, not a business. It is a happy, loving environment where the residents are looked after in a kind and sympathetic way.
Nothing has been too much trouble, sorting our medication, appointments etc. Myself and my family have always been made welcome, whatever time of day we visited. We are highly satisfied and would not like to place him anywhere else. The main thing being my husband is very happy there.
Thank you, Sheila, for your comments about your recent experience at Pellon Care Centre.

On arrival from a previous care home, my wife could hardly walk and was quite aggressive. She is now quite settled and walking about thanks to the care and attention shown by the staff.
Mum has only been in Birkshall Mews 2 weeks. In this short time I have found the staff very caring. Everyone is helpful and cheerful.
Two days before mum was due to arrive I took up and left some personal possessions. On the day mum arrived, the staff had put the pictures/shelves/ornaments on the walls. Mum's room looked lovely and homely.
