My grandma was living here from the beginning of lockdown due to a decline in health and hospital admission. Since admission, my grandma declined further in health and well-being, which subsequently led to further hospital admissions which were worrying during a pandemic. My grandma went in for respite however that was never achieved and it’s with regret she sadly passed away. Despite government guidance of compassionate visits in end of life care, I was myself denied these, on one occasion I was told that a meal takes priority over this visit. Within a few hours of this, my grandma passed away. Following a complaint, I have had no acknowledgement from the company or home manager. No condolence card or wishes. Would not suggest this home to anyone.

May we firstly extend all of our condolences on the passing of your beloved grandma, I appreciate that this was not done at the time of her death but the home has expressed that she was a lovely lady and is missed by everyone at the home. Please also accept our sincere apologies that your complaint was not dealt with as speedily as it would have been under normal circumstances. Our regional manager responded to you as soon as she returned from leave and completed a thorough investigation, she then responded to you with her findings and actions she was taking. We are extremely sorry that you were not able to visit your Grandma at the end of her life, this has been addressed with the staff at the home.

I could see how lovingly you looked after my Mum too and made her feel as much at home as possible.
You also showed great dignity and compassion when both my Dad and Mum passed away and provided me with caring support and help.

My Dad recently passed away after being in the wonderful care of Aden House for 6 months. He had multiple conditions but the staff at this care home were amazing, not just with my Dad but with the whole family as well. The manager is so lovely, pleasant and knowledgable. The nurses and carers were professional and caring with a good sense of humour. We appreciated this very much. It is very evident that they care about their residents. We would like to thank the manager, nurses, carers, chefs, handymen, laundry employees etc for looking after my Dad so well.

Visited my friend at Aden House and the staff were very friendly from the manager to the care girls. Even though I'm not related I was welcome. The home looks a bit tired and dated but it has a happy friendly staff which is nice. I would be happy to live there when I'm older.
