The staff make this an excellent care home. They treat each resident as an individual by listening, observing and responding with sensitivity to each situation. As a visitor, I am always made welcome. Any hiccups in the care of mum are dealt with, and details shared with me. Regular and varied activities
are arranged, and this creates a lovely atmosphere within the home and very much helps with bonding. My mum is able to have her hair done regularly, and her feet tended to by a chiropodist. She has also had her nails painted pink for the first time in 93 years. Mum enjoys her food and is amazed by the variety of meals she is served. After two months, my mum quite happily calls this her home.

My mum went into Field View Care Home in October. She has made friends with staff and residents. She is very happy there. Over Christmas was amazing. She went out to pubs etc. Activities and parties in the care home were great, in fact she had a better social life than myself. I would give the care
home 10/10

Longwood brought the sparkle back to our Mum at a time when she had lost confidence and felt isolated at home. All the activities were just what she needed! If there's a reason to have a celebration they will do, Mum always eager to join in! Residents and families alike always have a voice, deciding
on new things to do or new foods to try for eg. But above all is the care, support, laughter and love that the whole team give each and every day, looking after residents and families alike. They know each and every resident so well and this shines through. The care and support that our Mum and us all as a family have received means the world and we can never thank them enough for allowing us to be a son and daughter again, spending such lovely quality time with our precious Mum and being able to laugh with her and enjoy so many happy moments again. We're so glad that we were lucky enough to find Longwood Lodge and that our Mum and us could become part of such a wonderful and warm family.

All staff are really friendly and professional. My mum has never had a bad word to say about the Carer's. Staff are very quick to act if she needs a Dr or medical attention. They have lots of daily activities to keep them entertained and have a social media page where you can see this. I find the staff
treat the residents like family. I recommend Abbey Care 100%

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff, both daytime and nighttime, in the residential and the nursing suite for the care, comfort and love that was provided for my mother-in-law during the 18 month period of her stay at The Fountains Care Centre. My mother-in-law arrived as a
resident following an intense few months of ill health and hospital stays. After just two weeks, her baseline improved tremendously, enabling her to settle happily into life at The Fountains, where she made friends amongst other residents and indeed the staff. Her room was so pretty and the staff tended to her every need, treating her as an individual, listening to her concerns and encouraging her independent decision making. Eventually, after being diagnosed with Vascular Dementia, her gradual transition into nursing care upstairs was handled impeccably, where she spent her final days surrounded by genuine love from all the staff. For this and much more besides, I will be eternally grateful.

My mum had a 2 week stay at Riverside in Septrmbrt 2025. I cannot fault any part of her care while she was there. All the staff were absolutely amazing, I would like to thank them all for treating my mum with the care and dignity that she deserved. Nothing was too much trouble, we asked and the staff
made sure it was done. I observed the other residents while visiting my mum and they were all treated with respect and you could see that all the staff loved their jobs and not just doing 'a job'.
