I visit nearly every day and find the staff kind and friendly; the home is clean and warm

Very friendly staff I feel happy knowing my mum is well cared for. I am always informed of anything I need to know about my mum.

mum was unable to recall much of the detail of her 2 week stay, due to her dementia, but she said she had been happy and well treated, she had missed her daily walk but otherwise seemed to have been perfectly comfortable, perfect outcome for a first respite break. Thank you for looking after her for me.

My uncle came to Cedars only a few weeks ago. He has settled in so well. Staff couldn't do enough for him. Even a bath on his 1st day & a shave. He is enjoying the food, & likes how he can go to his room when he wants or sit in the day room. He is being cared for which is piece of mind. So far so good.

My husband has been in Riverside Care Home for just over 3 years, I would never consider putting him anywhere else. The care is second to none; the cleanliness has been improved, and the food is good, also the friendliness of the staff and management is wonderful,

My dad had wanted to stay at home but from the moment I met Claire (who has been a fantastic support) I knew Dad would be in good hands. The staff always greeted me at the door with an update and really did the best for Dad - encouraging when he needed it, and knowing when to let him be. The staff really care and it feels like a family. I was so grateful for their support for Dad.

I recommend this residential home - It is kept clean and tidy every day and always smells clean and fresh. Residents beds are always made with clean linen. Laundry is washed and ironed on the same day and always returned correctly. Very well managed home with approachable and proactive manager who is always visible and available for advice or concerns. Care manager also organised and carries out tasks as soon as possible. Senior carers are efficient + knowledgeable. Almost all the staff are polite, friendly and accomodating. I feel fortunate that my relative is in this home. Thank you to all the lovely staff and for their hard + challenging work

Going through a really difficult time we had to find care for our lovely dad. The staff and care we had from Riverside was so kind and helped me and my sister so much. It took a lot of stress from us knowing he is so looked after and cared for by lovely staff. We know he is so safe and settled. We cant thank all of you enough.

I am highly delighted with the facilities provided by the Riverside Care Home. My wife has fitted in well and we both think that the staff and management at the home are second to none. There is nothing to much trouble for the staff, The food and choices of food are marvellous, I cannot recommend the home enough. I am highly delighted with the choice I made

KAY - DAUGHTER My mum has been in Riverside since December 2024 she's always clean & tidy with her hair styled every week in the 'salon' which she loves. Mum always comments that the food is very good. All in all although it took some time, mum seems settled and happy. Its a relief for the family to know that she is well cared for

Work is still ongoing and the staff are working extremely hard to deliver the vision for the benefit of their residents.

Saw the manager and she never offered any condolences no compassion at all

When visiting today, the communal toilet was covered in faeces. My grandmother's sheet had dried faeces and food on it. Despite clear requests not to switch her personal mini fridge off it had been switched off yet again. She currently has a chest infection yet her bed had not been raised adequately to aid easier breathing

Good care given to Mum, always kept up to date with progress & health. Staff are all very friendly & loving towards mum & are always helpful. Lots of activities/events and entertainment are provided to residents and families are encouraged to attend & also to give their opinions regarding any improvement etc. (Activities are excellent, just awaiting a replacement employee).

Mum is happy and well looked after. She has lots to do with a great activity team. Staff are amazing 10/10. Food is plentiful, but sometimes she doesn't know what it is, as likes plain food. We as a family cannot praise all the staff more.

Best thing we could have done for my mum was to make Field View Care Home the place for her to live in. She is happy and well taken care of. The staff go above and beyond. She is always clean and dressed well. Her bedroom is spotless. 10/10 from me.

My experience for my sister has been 'transforming' for her and us. The care and support has allowed her to grow in confidence and communication with others residents. The support staff are excellent. Her personal and medical needs are met with dignity and care. Administered with kindness which has had a remarkable effect on her sense of wellbeing. Her weight and health has improved greatly. Due to the meal and drinks served. The facilities are excellent to assist her with her independence she has, knowing she has help at hand when needed too. Safety is paramount she and I know she safe. She joins in activities and is making friends with others and members of staff. I find this care home gives value for money. Her room is always clean, neat and tidy. Her clothes always ready clean, above and beyond care. Thank you to management and staff who go the extra mile to make her life, happier and healthier.

We have found Dad much improved in his short stay and he has said he wants to remain here.

Peter's mental well-being has improved 100% since admission. The staff are very supportive and cannot be faulted for their care of him.
