Mum is happy and well looked after. She has lots to do with a great activity team. Staff are amazing 10/10. Food is plentiful, but sometimes she doesn't know what it is, as likes plain food. We as a family cannot praise all the staff more.

Best thing we could have done for my mum was to make Field View Care Home the place for her to live in. She is happy and well taken care of. The staff go above and beyond. She is always clean and dressed well. Her bedroom is spotless. 10/10 from me.

From day 1, Mum needed a significant amount of care. Mum was provided with a comfortable, safe and welcoming environment where she feels safe and listened to. The managers have been excellent with listening and supporting us. A social worker told us that Mum was fit to go home when clearly everyone...
From day 1, Mum needed a significant amount of care. Mum was provided with a comfortable, safe and welcoming environment where she feels safe and listened to. The managers have been excellent with listening and supporting us. A social worker told us that Mum was fit to go home when clearly everyone else could see that she wasn't. The managers called for a GP review, and 2 days after the social worker's visit, the GP put mum on a My Care Plan for end of life. I feel the staff, especially the managers hsave gone above and beyond for us, to get mum the level of care that she needs.

My mother has dementia and has been cared for for the last few years by my father. It became apparent that they were not coping so I moved my mum to Field View. The staff have been wonderful with her, she has settled so well and is very happy; she's thriving. The only thing that could be changed is if they had home cooked meals. I don't think there can be a substitute of the same quality than food that is cooked from scratch. Otherwise there is no better home for my mother.

My mother is in Field View and has been for a few months, the care my mum receives is out of the world, everyone is so caring and nothing is too much trouble for anyone of them. The home manager is very approachable, always asking if everything is ok. Superstars they all are.

The staff are always kind and helpful. Saturday and Sundays always seem light in staff and management. I do find the incontinence pads inadequate, sometimes they are at the bottom of the trouser leg. The meal times I often see food stains down the front of residents, which could be remedied by a plastic-based Tabard, which then could be wiped down, saving mounds of washing.

In respect of continence aids these are supplied via the local authority continence team who asses how many each resident requires. Finally in respect of tabards these are readily available for all residents however residents can of course choose if they wish to wear them based on their own individual preferences.I hope that explains the areas you have raised and once again thank you for your feedback.

Sadly my mother came into Field View on Wednesday 6th November 2024 as "end of life" from hospital. All your staff from management to carers, kitchen staff and cleaners were amazing how they treated and cared for my mum whilst she was there in her room - nothing was too much trouble and all our family and friends felt the same too. Sadly mum passed away on 16th December 2024 again the staff were so compassionate. Thank you.

Visited my mother in law today and she's so happy and content in her own little world of dementia. It's nice to see her with such cheer. The staff are wonderful and we know they go above and beyond for their residents. We are so happy she's in a safe environment.
