Living rooms are bright, colourful and welcoming meals always smell lovely and no complaints from my uncle. The carers are always on hand to assist residents and answer any questions I may have. One carer and Senior Carer are always pleasant, and helpful and treat the residents with dignity at all times. I cannot praise all the staff here enough, they are all amazing and do a fantastic job.
Thank you for your kind review this will be passed onto the staff team.
Excellent in all, very happy with the care Mum receives. Staff are excellent. Always pleasant and kind to Mum. Highly recommend.
Thank you for your kind words this will be passed onto the staff team.
My mum went into respite on Bank Holiday Monday. Mum was quite poorly and had been deteriorating for a while, but when I took her into the lounge, he face lit up and she instantly looked happy. The staff (and residents) were very welcoming and professional. Her room was simple but nice. There was an Easter party happening, with live entertainment, which all the residents were enjoying. The place is clean, secure and full of life. Everyone is happy.
Thank you for your kind words; this will be passed on to our team.
First-class service and attention all round, could not ask for better care. All staff outstanding.
Thank you for the kind review, this will be passed on to the staff team.
My dad became a resident at Field View earlier this year, in what I could envisage being a traumatic time leaving home. Dad settled in really well quickly. He is looked after, cared for in a way that family couldn't. He enjoys his food and the variety of meals which has recently been updated. The carers and office staff are always on hand for a friendly chat/update. The residents enjoy singers visiting and involving their families on those special evenings. I appreciate what Field View have done for me and my family.
Thank you for your kind words, they will be passed on to the staff team.
I have no concerns with her welfare, she is well looked after and the staff are always on hand to discuss any issues or worries I may have.
The staff are always very friendly and professional in their care for all the residents.
I would advise anyone to consider this care home for their loved ones.
Thank you for your kind words, we will share your feedback with all the team at Field View.
I go to Field View Care Home to see my mother pretty regularly. I find the staff helpful and pleasant in trying times. No task seems too much for the carers. They have good activities for the residents to keep their minds occupied. There is always a menu to know what the meals are for the day. Overall, I feel happy with Field View Care Home that my mother is getting looked after well.
On visiting Field View Care Home over the previous weeks I was impressed by how helpful and friendly the staff are and well cared for. I have been visiting my cousin and he appreciates the help and encouragement from staff - he is happy with his meals and like his bedroom which is big and comfortable. Other clients I speak to are very happy about their care and comfort.
Hello and thank you for your kind words, we really appreciate the feedback.
My friend was only in the care home for a short while but the care and friendship he received were excellent. All the staff were caring and approachable. Their care was not only caring but individualised to everyone's needs. They were kept entertained and occupied throughout the day with activities varied and fun.
Thank you for your kind words, we really enjoyed having your friend with us.
Field View Care Home came highly recommended by a friend whose mum is there. Being a nurse and having worked in nursing homes myself, all that I wanted was for my mum to have the best possible caring staff available. Someone to care for her as you would. Every member of staff here is superb. Not only for my mum but also for the family. They are knowledgeable, kind and caring. Attending to my mum's needs and ours efficiently and effectively. I would highly recommend Field View Care Home to anyone.
it was a pleasure to care for your mum.
Mum has been in the care home for only a few months, but in this short period, the staff have shown so much care and support for her. They are always available for advice or help you may need. They have shown to be a very happy, caring and attentive team who work efficiently throughout their daily routine, especially one lady, for all your loving, caring and exceptional hard work. Thank you.
Thank you so very much for your kind words. We love what we do and feedback such as yours fills our hearts with joy. We are thrilled to have your mum here and she has settled in very well. Please let us know if there is anything more we can do to make her stay with us better.
My mum came into this home in October 2021. She was upstairs to start with then she was moved downstairs which is much better for her as she is not very good on her legs. Whenever I call up to book myself in, the staff are always very helpful, and polite. My mum is always looked after, even the lady that cleans her clothes calls in when I am here, very polite and always looks out to be helpful.
Thank you for your kind feedback. It is our pleasure to make sure that your mum is as comfortable as possible and we are delighted that you are happy with the service.
Mum has settled in really well which I am very grateful for. When I hope to make an appointment to visit mum, the staff are very polite and happy to arrange this for me. Always happy to take time to explain to me how mum is doing. One minor issue is that they need to shave her hairy chin more often.
Hello, thanks a lot for your kind words. We understand the importance of dignity in personal care and it is our pleasure to make sure that our residents are always cared for according to their wishes. We will always respect the resident's wishes when it comes to their appearance. We are elated that you are happy with our service.
The atmosphere at Field View is comfortable and welcoming and Mum settled in very well, when it became necessary to find a care home at short notice. We saw an immediate improvement in her health and wellbeing. As commented by others, the home is very clean and appropriately furnished and decorated. The food and drinks provided are of a high standard with a good range of appropriate dishes.
The management team and staff have managed the considerable difficulties caused by the pandemic with commendable professionalism and have aimed to maintain the best quality of life for residents. Like other homes, they have experienced some difficulty in filling key roles such as the entertainment lead, but fortunately, this has now been resolved. We hope this will enable regular physical activity to be planned for those, like Mum, who still have some mobility, but cannot walk unaided in safety.
Hello, thanks a lot for your valuable feedback and your kind words. We assure you that your support and understanding are always appreciated. Our activities coordinator is back and she's got a full schedule including celebrating world penguin day, smoothie making day, cupcake making day,...
We were reluctant to move Mum to a Care Home as it was something she had never wanted before she became ill with dementia. However, we had reached the stage where Mum was becoming unsafe and lonely on her own at home between carer visits. The staff at Field View Care Home were understanding of how we were feeling before Mum moved to the home and have been fantastic with Mum since she moved there. The home is clean and comfortable and the staff are very helpful. There is a small designated lounge where we can visit Mum whilst the Covid rules are still in operation, and the staff are always willing to share updates about Mum when we visit. The food is good and entertainment for the residents is provided. There are two additional lounges and a dining room and residents can choose which lounge they prefer to sit in. Mum seems to have settled in the short time she has been there and we are really pleased that she is able to have baths and access a hairdresser and podiatrist (additional charge).
Thank you for your lovely review. Your mum has settled in really well and it is lovely to see her singing along with the other residents.
They are helpful - keep you informed of what's happening with the resident. Stick to the ground rules. Clean and friendly atmosphere.
As it has been a very difficult past 12-months for all the residents and staff at the home, they have been very professional in their approach to the Covid situation. As I have said before, they are dedicated to their job and are very caring to all their residents. The new magazine that has now been published is very interesting and informative. Very pleased with the care my mum is having at the home.
Thank you for your valuable feedback and having trust in our staff to provide care for your mum. Our aim to continue to provide person-centered care for our residents and keeping their loved one informed about their well being in this difficult time. Please let us know if you have any suggestions...
The manager is an outstanding care home manager and with skill and determination has transformed Field View into an establishment that now provides top-quality care and professionalism. My mum is extremely happy at Field View, and she is a living testament to the care and attention that she received at Field View. The manager has recruited quality staff, and together, they have kept Field View Covid-free and ensured my mum is safe and well. The manager is dedicated and inspiring and deserves to be acknowledged for all her hard work. I know I can phone anytime at Field View and receive an update, all the staff are pleasant and caring. I am very happy that my precious mUm is a resident at Field View, and I hope the manager stays!

It is difficult to write a review during these horrible times, due to the covid pandemic. I can only praise the staff at Field View for keeping my mum and other residents safe from covid. Not being able to see my mum has been hard, but the staff and manager have been very supportive of telephone calls and video calls.
Hope you and your family are well. We are pleased to hear that you feel supported by our staff and able to have contact through video calls and telephones. We really appreciate your comments. We will continue to provide care and support to your mum and keep you in the loop. We understand it is a...
My niece and sister have already left favourable reviews and I just want to reiterate their comments. Mum was happy at Field View, but I would personally like to thank all staff and the manager for the way they treated Mum and us in her last few days. They made what is an awful time into a calm and caring ending. I have nothing but praise for the entire team. Once again, many thanks.
Hello Ian, Many thanks for your encouraging words for our staff team.
