The staff are very nice, the only negative I have is that we have been told to use the side door (delivery entrance) but when press the bell and nobody comes and answers, you can be stood there for at least 20 minutes waiting for somebody to answer and it's the same for the main entrance nobody...

Thank you so much for your review this does mean a lot to the staff, we are sorry that sometimes it takes a while to get to the door if staff are busy, but I will re-discuss this at our daily meetings with staff, my office is at the front door so I do aim to answer as quickly as I can, thank you for bringing this to our attention.
My mother-in-law has settled in well. She seems so much more happy here. She always says how lovely all the staff are and how friendly. She is taken out on visits and has done so much. So thank you for looking after her at a vulnerable and lonely scary time of her life. It has made us happy to see her loving life again at 83.

Field Park offered my dad a week's respite (with the opportunity to stay permanently) after his health deteriorated and he couldn't manage on his own. It was outstanding how quickly and efficiently the staff sorted things out for my dad. Due to commitment, care and the respect all of the staff showed my dad he has chosen to stay at the home. He loves the home-from-home feeling, the variety of activities provided, the spacious and clean room, and the fact someone is on hand 14/7 to help him when he needs it. I would highly recommend Fieldhead Park to anyone!

My mother is a resident in the dementia wing which can be challenging for staff and residents, so in the circumstances I believe residents are treated with kindness and dignity. There is quite a turnover of agency staff and some appear to work harder and be more dedicated than others. Overall, I am very happy that I chose a suitable home for my mother. I have noticed on rare occasions resident lounge has been left unattended by staff longer than I think should be.

Overall, the home is well-run. The staff are very friendly and caring with residents. There seems to be a constant turnover of staff (nurses) and whilst this is understandable given the poor level of funding from the government, it is not ideal for residents.

My name is Hailey Eachus and I am the manager of Fieldhead Park i gained this role in 2015, and before accepting the role of Manager I was intermediate care manager for Roche Healthcare based here at Fieldhead Park.
My experience is in orthopaedics and leading a medical pre-assessment unit, I also have a background in mental health as a unit manager, and many more experiences throughout my 17 years as a nurse,I am very much a hands-on manager and still work with the nurses when I can, it is still very important to me that I know each resident personally so I continue to work with all residents on the main side and patients on the nursing care unit also.
This also gives me a chance to work with all staff, highlighting if any training is required to ensure person-centred care is maintained to a high standard something that has always been important to me and continues to be as part of my nursing career.
We are looking to restart the residents/relatives committee if anyone would like to help with this. In the past this was a big success and many events were enjoyed, once we restart the residents/relatives committee we hope to have regular resident meetings and updates, please feel free to attend I will put notices up on the notice board near the front door in advance.
If you are unable to visit but would like to get involved I can provide regular updates via email regarding your relative or events that are taking place. My door is always open for any queries you may have, it would be lovely to get to know you all.
My door is always open if you require any assistance or advice that may be required, Fieldhead Park is a wonderful home with very experienced staff that generally care for others to a high standard; we have an excellent activities co-ordinator who plans exciting trips out or entertainment indoors for residents and their families.Fieldhead Park is an old manor house and still has a very homely feel to it our long-term residents love meals that are freshly cooked and menu changes are led by the residents.
We closely with families to maintain strong family bonds and will work closely together to ensure residents are still in contact with families as they would at home.
