I would like to thank all the staff for their care and commitment in taking good care of my cousin. My cousin who is not mobile has very complex needs, the manager and her team made sure all her needs were taken care of, she was made to feel at home, feel safe and was always kept clean. I can't thank the company and staff enough as the care they provided enabled me to have peace of mind.

I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who has a family member that needs 24hr care and attention in the warm atmosphere that Fieldhead create.

My mother was welcomed to Fieldhead Park Care Home following a serious collapse in health.
Post hospitalisation, and local respite care, it was clear that going home without 24/7 support was not an option, hence us looking for a local care facility for a trial period of four months to give everybody time to access Mum's progress.
Within the four-month period, Mum's health and general confidence continued to improve weekly and now after six months at Fieldhead Park, it is clear that the care, support and daily companionship have given her a new confidence and level of freedom befitting her underlying difficulties.
The kindness, care as required, comfort and dignity extended to Mum is exemplary as is the welcome and encouragement we get as visitors. The recreation afforded to the residents is simply wonderful and our mum certainly benefits from the social aspect of all the activities provided.

Well run, friendly and a "home" in the truest sense of the word. Well done to all the team.

Staff friendly and helpful and care about my grannie. Positive atmosphere. I enjoy visiting my grannie here. The garden and outside area is well kept and the indoors is like a lovely traditional home with lovely features. I eat with my grannie a lot and the food is good and there is variety and the choices are traditional, which my grannie likes.

I would like to say that it was a nice home for my nan to be placed in while she gets better but I can't. From the experience I saw there, I wasn't best pleased. Don't get me wrong, some of the staff were really nice to her, but others were not very friendly. She had trouble with her incontinence and needed help to the toilet. She would press her buzzer to go and she could be waiting hours for someone to come. Sometimes she would end up in tears over this. If she could have gone herself she would. It was awful to see her go through this and I can't say I would recommend this home to anyone!

i am very sorry that you feel this way, and your grandmother's stay wasn't to the standard you expected, if you like to contact myself at the home I will happily talk through these concerns that you had? I wasn't aware of these as I would have tackled these at the time. Look forward to hearing from you.

I have had dealings with Fieldhead Park for over 40 years and would recommend the home to anyone wishing to lodge a relative there or themselves. The staff are so friendly and the carers could not do enough for the residents. It is an excellent residential home and I would not personally pick any fault with it.

Very grateful for the care Dad has had since going into Fieldhead just before lockdown last year. They also looked after Mum during her final days so they could be together.
The staff were very caring and the few times we were able to visit noted how well groomed he was and how clean his room and other areas of the home were.

He always said the food was good and had very few complaints. They regularly checked on him to make sure he was comfortable. Always kept us updated if there were any health issues or if he had medical appointments.

Just been on a visit to see my dad. The staff are second to none. They fetched him in a wheelchair to the library, and we were in the pod opposite. All staff are really good with him. They have lots of interesting things going on, bingo games, dominos, etc, and they celebrate all special days. I would recommend this care home to anyone.

My Dad is a resident, went into this care home in January as my Mum was taken into hospital. Mum needed end of life care, the home accepted her immediately allowing them to spend their last hours together. I could visit both and the comfort from staff on the day I said goodbye to Mum was unbelievable. They moved mountains to get Dad to Mum's funeral, they gave him his opportunity to say goodbye to the love of his life. I can't thank them enough for getting us through such a difficult year. Since then, they have made outside visits in the Gazebo and now an indoor pod; looking after residents and families. Just perfect.

My mum is in this care home and has been there for 3 years. I have found the management and staff to be exceptional, from the carers to cooks, to the wonderful lady who does all the activities; they have kept my mum very safe through covid-19 and kept us in touch with video calls and now window visits.

My mother was at Fieldhead Park for over 4 years and for the first few years the service was excellent and the staff brilliant. However, over the last 18 months, the service has deteriorated to such a point that I felt obliged to move my mother to another care home (a decision not taken lightly when she is 98). I attempted to work with management and the owner on numerous occasions and in the end, was forced to submit a formal complaint in order for my concerns to be taken seriously. The staff turnover was horrendous and I was told on several occasions by staff that my mother was not a priority as her needs were less than some of the other more needy residents and also that if it was their mother they wouldn't keep her at Fieldhead. In mitigation, I have to say the carers and cleaning staff did their utmost to help but were very wary of management. Having now moved her to a nearby care home she has settled in well and I wish I'd done it sooner.

What can I put into words the gratitude I have for Fieldhead Park, for the care and kindness they gave to my friend over the past 2 years. They made her feel secure and safe which she didn't have when living in her own home. They gave her friendship, laughter, and thoughtfulness. She was always treated with dignity which was important to her, and also me.

I can honestly say that everyone at the home made her feel wanted. Sadly my friend passed away but the home continued to support me at this sad time.

I myself would like to express it was a privilege to be a part of my friend's life, but it was also a privilege to be part of the Fieldhead Park.

Thank you to everyone, it will be strange not coming to see you all, and especially my friend.

My mother was given 2 weeks to live in February this year. I had to find a care home - what a challenge! Field Park was 'head and shoulders' above the rest. Mum moved in. The excellent nursing and care staff loved mum - good all rounder provision ensured her quality of life, not for 2 weeks, but 30 weeks.

Set in beautiful grounds, well-appointed rooms and facilities - excellent, but my highest praise goes to the selfless staff, nothing was too much trouble, they became part of the family. I will never forget their kindness and tenderness - mum died peacefully, with me at her side, in the arms of angels. I can't thank Field Park enough.

I and my family can not thank everyone involved that looked after my husband during his stay at Fieldhead Park. They could not have been more helpful and I would say at this stressful time when you have to make a difficult decision to place your loved one in someone else's care you could not do any better the Fieldhead. It was plain to see the the manager was the right person in the right job and it showed all the way through the home. O would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Hailey Eachus
Hailey EachusJob Title Home Manager/RGNJoined 2015

My name is Hailey Eachus and I am the manager of Fieldhead Park i gained this role in 2015, and before accepting the role of Manager I was intermediate care manager for Roche Healthcare based here at Fieldhead Park.

My experience is in orthopaedics and leading a medical pre-assessment unit, I also have a background in mental health as a unit manager, and many more experiences throughout my 17 years as a nurse,
I started working with Roche Healthcare when I was 16 years old as a carer and have worked my way up through each position, gaining a good knowledge of the company and elderly care during my years here,

I am very much a hands-on manager and still work with the nurses when I can, it is still very important to me that I know each resident personally so I continue to work with all residents on the main side and patients on the nursing care unit also.

This also gives me a chance to work with all staff, highlighting if any training is required to ensure person-centred care is maintained to a high standard something that has always been important to me and continues to be as part of my nursing career.

We are looking to restart the residents/relatives committee if anyone would like to help with this. In the past this was a big success and many events were enjoyed, once we restart the residents/relatives committee we hope to have regular resident meetings and updates, please feel free to attend I will put notices up on the notice board near the front door in advance.

If you are unable to visit but would like to get involved I can provide regular updates via email regarding your relative or events that are taking place. My door is always open for any queries you may have, it would be lovely to get to know you all.

My door is always open if you require any assistance or advice that may be required, Fieldhead Park is a wonderful home with very experienced staff that generally care for others to a high standard; we have an excellent activities co-ordinator who plans exciting trips out or entertainment indoors for residents and their families.

Fieldhead Park is an old manor house and still has a very homely feel to it our long-term residents love meals that are freshly cooked and menu changes are led by the residents.

We closely with families to maintain strong family bonds and will work closely together to ensure residents are still in contact with families as they would at home.
