Fieldhead Park is a refurbished 19th century house and the tight-knit team are dedicated to providing a happy and safe home, with the emphasis on sociable and relaxed atmosphere where all residents can live in comfort in a home-from-home environment.

There is a range of facilities which include five separate living and dining areas, its own extensive grounds, a sun terrace & a library. The refurbishment of communal areas and bedrooms is well underway, all being finished to a high-standard of decor to complement the heritage of the building.

All bedrooms are en-suite and there is a hair dressing salon for residents to benefit from.

If residents are used to a busy and active life, their needs will be met through a full programme of events and activities – but the preferences of those who wish to take things easy will be satisfied, too.

The Activities programme at Fieldhead Park is exceptional.   Residents can take part in craft afternoons, pamper sessions, canal trips, theatre visits, garden parties, visits by entertainers and the increasingly popular monthly High-Teas – just to name a few.

I have had dealings with Fieldhead Park for over 40 years and would recommend the home to anyone wishing to lodge a relative there or themselves. The staff are so friendly and the carers could not do enough for the residents. It is an excellent residential home and I would not personally pick any fault
with it.

Very grateful for the care Dad has had since going into Fieldhead just before lockdown last year. They also looked after Mum during her final days so they could be together.
The staff were very caring and the few times we were able to visit noted how well groomed he was and how clean his room and other
areas of the home were.
He always said the food was good and had very few complaints. They regularly checked on him to make sure he was comfortable. Always kept us updated if there were any health issues or if he had medical appointments.

Just been on a visit to see my dad. The staff are second to none. They fetched him in a wheelchair to the library, and we were in the pod opposite. All staff are really good with him. They have lots of interesting things going on, bingo games, dominos, etc, and they celebrate all special days. I would
recommend this care home to anyone.

My Dad is a resident, went into this care home in January as my Mum was taken into hospital. Mum needed end of life care, the home accepted her immediately allowing them to spend their last hours together. I could visit both and the comfort from staff on the day I said goodbye to Mum was unbelievable.
They moved mountains to get Dad to Mum's funeral, they gave him his opportunity to say goodbye to the love of his life. I can't thank them enough for getting us through such a difficult year. Since then, they have made outside visits in the Gazebo and now an indoor pod; looking after residents and families. Just perfect.

My mum is in this care home and has been there for 3 years. I have found the management and staff to be exceptional, from the carers to cooks, to the wonderful lady who does all the activities; they have kept my mum very safe through covid-19 and kept us in touch with video calls and now window visits.

My mother was at Fieldhead Park for over 4 years and for the first few years the service was excellent and the staff brilliant. However, over the last 18 months, the service has deteriorated to such a point that I felt obliged to move my mother to another care home (a decision not taken lightly when
she is 98). I attempted to work with management and the owner on numerous occasions and in the end, was forced to submit a formal complaint in order for my concerns to be taken seriously. The staff turnover was horrendous and I was told on several occasions by staff that my mother was not a priority as her needs were less than some of the other more needy residents and also that if it was their mother they wouldn't keep her at Fieldhead. In mitigation, I have to say the carers and cleaning staff did their utmost to help but were very wary of management. Having now moved her to a nearby care home she has settled in well and I wish I'd done it sooner.

What can I put into words the gratitude I have for Fieldhead Park, for the care and kindness they gave to my friend over the past 2 years. They made her feel secure and safe which she didn't have when living in her own home. They gave her friendship, laughter, and thoughtfulness. She was always treated
with dignity which was important to her, and also me.


I can honestly say that everyone at the home made her feel wanted. Sadly my friend passed away but the home continued to support me at this sad time.
I myself would like to express it was a privilege to be a part of my friend's life, but it was also a privilege to be part of the Fieldhead Park.


Thank you to everyone, it will be strange not coming to see you all, and especially my friend.

My mother was given 2 weeks to live in February this year. I had to find a care home - what a challenge! Field Park was 'head and shoulders' above the rest. Mum moved in. The excellent nursing and care staff loved mum - good all rounder provision ensured her quality of life, not for 2 weeks, but 30
weeks.
Set in beautiful grounds, well-appointed rooms and facilities - excellent, but my highest praise goes to the selfless staff, nothing was too much trouble, they became part of the family. I will never forget their kindness and tenderness - mum died peacefully, with me at her side, in the arms of angels. I can't thank Field Park enough.

I and my family can not thank everyone involved that looked after my husband during his stay at Fieldhead Park. They could not have been more helpful and I would say at this stressful time when you have to make a difficult decision to place your loved one in someone else's care you could not do any
better the Fieldhead. It was plain to see the the manager was the right person in the right job and it showed all the way through the home. O would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Job Title: Home Manager/RGN Joined: 2015

My name is Hailey Eachus and I am the manager of Fieldhead Park i gained this role in 2015, and before accepting the role of Manager I was intermediate care manager for Roche Healthcare based here at Fieldhead Park.


My experience is in orthopaedics and leading a medical pre-assessment unit, I also have a background in mental health as a unit manager, and many more experiences throughout my 17 years as a nurse,
I started working with Roche Healthcare when I was 16 years old as a carer and have worked my way up through each position, gaining a good knowledge of the company and elderly care during my years here,
I am very much a hands-on manager and still work with the nurses when I can, it is still very important to me that I know each resident personally so I continue to work with all residents on the main side and patients on the nursing care unit also.


This also gives me a chance to work with all staff, highlighting if any training is required to ensure person-centred care is maintained to a high standard something that has always been important to me and continues to be as part of my nursing career.


We are looking to restart the residents/relatives committee if anyone would like to help with this. In the past this was a big success and many events were enjoyed, once we restart the residents/relatives committee we hope to have regular resident meetings and updates, please feel free to attend I will put notices up on the notice board near the front door in advance.


If you are unable to visit but would like to get involved I can provide regular updates via email regarding your relative or events that are taking place. My door is always open for any queries you may have, it would be lovely to get to know you all.


My door is always open if you require any assistance or advice that may be required, Fieldhead Park is a wonderful home with very experienced staff that generally care for others to a high standard; we have an excellent activities co-ordinator who plans exciting trips out or entertainment indoors for residents and their families.

Fieldhead Park is an old manor house and still has a very homely feel to it our long-term residents love meals that are freshly cooked and menu changes are led by the residents.


We closely with families to maintain strong family bonds and will work closely together to ensure residents are still in contact with families as they would at home.
