My experience of Manor Park is nothing is too much trouble the care my mum is getting is first class, my mum has been in Manor Park since February this year. She is on the nursing unit the staff work very hard can't praise them enough, would recommend to any family wanting care for their loved ones.

My mum was a resident in Manor Park Care Home from 2014 until her passing in December 2021. The care and attention from the staff were exceptional throughout her time there, and I cannot thank the nurses, carers and office staff enough. When she ended up on end-of-life care, the support to myself as well as my mum was brilliant and will always be grateful for that - thank you. I've never regretted for one minute her being in Manor Park and would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody else in the same situation.

Mum came into the home 2 weeks before lockdown started, which ended up being a very worrying and stressful two years for her. Especially with being alone in her room with no family or friends visiting - no fault of the staff.

Then eventually, early this year, Mum was moved into a room downstairs with a window view and access to the garden outside. This has given her a new lease of life and the staff have been busy doing activities, especially one member of staff, in particular, who has gone behond caring for Mum but like a friend too cheering her up when she is down. Thanks to all the staff for all their hard work. I know sometimes there isn't enough staff working but as long as they try their best and keep Mum safe and happy.

My mum went into Manor Park Care Home in August having been in respite care for 4 weeks at another home, but they wanted Mum’s bed so we had to find another home. It was the best thing that could have happened. Mum had 2 weeks before she died of love, care, attention and compassion shown to her and us as a family from all the staff from office to nursing and carers. They are all a credit to their profession.

Our mum died in a dignified way and we are all truly grateful for that.

My wife went in for two weeks respite while I was in the hospital. Her daughters took her in. My wife has dementia and is sometimes very vocal, on the second day my daughter reported her big toe was infected and needed looking at, this was on Tuesday. I came out of the hospital and went to see my wife on the Sunday. She was very upset and told me her foot was very sore. I looked and it was badly infected by now, in fact, her foot was red. I took her out immediately and didn’t tell anyone why. When I got her home I phoned 111 and they sent an ambulance. He looked at it and said it’s bad but taking her to the hospital will probably upset her more. I agreed, they contacted my doctor the next day Monday, as luck had it, the podiatrist came to see her that day as well. She took one look at it and reported it to the diabetic centre in Pontefract. They came out the next day and started treatment. My wife had an X-ray, turns out her bone was also infected, she is now on two courses of antibiotics for six weeks.

My mum is a resident in Manor Park Care Home and it has been very difficult over the last year not being able to see her and hug her. She doesn't understand. Christmas was especially hard for all our family. We thought we were gonna be allowed to see her, but then the home had a case of COVID. I especially would like to mention one carer, she has been so good FaceTiming the family with my mum every week. I cannot thank her enough.

The home is friendly, the staff always manage a smile. Last year proved to be very difficult for everyone, they all rose to the challenge, kept Mum and Dad safe and well cared for. My only criticism is that information was slow to filter out to families and it was difficult to contact me as the phone system could take the call elsewhere.

I would like to say a big thank you to the team.

From having a look round, meeting staff and viewing rooms we knew this was the place for us, Cutsyke, not being far from Pontefract. The management and staff are all lovely. They can not do enough for you, always greeted with a smile and hello. My mother-in-law is happy there and we can rest assured she is being looked after very well which means a lot.

The love, support and care every single member of staff showed my mum and family in mum's final weeks was amazing. The staff went above and beyond. I am so glad we chose Manor Park for my mum to stay at, they made my mum's final weeks a pleasure and even made one of mum's wishes come true by taking her to a local nature attraction. I cannot say a bad word about Manor Park, the team is amazing with the best manager ever.

All the staff are amazing, especially the Manager. Whilst Mum was in their care they all went above and beyond (i.e., if Mum wanted something and they didn't have it in, they went and got it for her). They even made one of Mum's wishes come true by taking her out to a butterfly park in Leeds for the day which she loved. I would highly recommend anybody that needs support and care to go to Manor Park Care Home. They won't be disappointed. Such an amazing and friendly environment. Thank you so much.

My mum went into the dementia unit on the 11/6/19 after a traumatic 3 weeks in hospital. The dementia manager and staff, from the moment she arrived to when she passed away 10 days later were absolutely fantastic. Their care, concerns, nursing, attitude and empathy were second to none. My mum was so well looked after we wished she had gone their prior to when she did. I would not hesitate for a minute to recommend you trust and leave your loved ones in their care. Manor Court were also very accommodating with all our family too.

If anyone is worried about putting their loved ones into Manor Park, do not worry! The manager and her team in the Dementia unit are absolutely amazing in every way. My mother-n-law spent her last days in their care for her end of life and myself and family cannot thank them enough. They could not do enough for ANY of us and not just my mum-in-law. Just wished we had known about this care home sooner than we did!!!!

100% recommend without any doubt whatsoever.
