My father in law has been here a while now and has settled in fantastically, they have been great with every little step and struggle he's had they have offered advice and dealt with him with the utmost care and compassion
Everyone has helped and continues to be helpful for all of my dads needs, having complicated medical issues I really couldn't have dealt with any of this without this home. I can't thank the staff enough for all of their continued assistance.
Wow, what a difference just 3 days has made to Dad's physical and mental wellbeing. The staff are so professional, knowledgeable, and caring. The menu is superb, beautiful views. Rooms are immaculate. Family environment as 33 rooms, i believe. I am already eyeballing a room I would like to have when it's my time to move to a home.
An absolutely lovely care home. The staff go above and beyond to look after their residents. They genuinely seem to care and really have helped us during a difficult time.
Mum was sadly taken to the home due to her not being able to walk anymore. I have to say I couldn't recommend this home more. The owner and staff are lovely and mum is well looked after, she is a little nervous about mixing and attending activities but they are working along with our family to getting her involved a little more this is a happy nursing home and a beautiful building. Thank You xx
I arived 6-25 since ariving I have felt welcome. The staff are all friendly and will put themselfs out to help you. I have realy felt at home here which for me is diffrent seeing as Im 51. But I am settled here feels like home. The food is suprisingly nice, I've come from hospital that was not so good. This is lovely. I have no complaints and love it here.
There is ample space for residents to relax with comfortable furniture and a large conservatory as well as good outside seating in the secure garden
The staff are well trained and really care for our Dad There is always a friendly atmosphere
Families and visitors are always welcome and there is a door entry system for the residents security
The food is freshly made with attention to dietary needs which our Dad enjoys
In fact his comments are "Im well looked after ,well fed and my bed is comfy "
I have found all the staff at North Ferriby Nursing Home to be very friendly & caring. There is always a pleasant atmosphere on entering & reassuring there are no restrictions on visiting times although understandably asked to avoid mealtimes. Well behaved pets are also welcome. Live music is part of the recreation programme which is always enjoyed by all, residents & visitors alike.
My husband came for respite in August 2024. He is now a resident. Was bed bound, now is mobile. The care he has received has been wonderful. Staff and management are very caring and professional. Home is always very clean.
She enjoys all the food, she always looks nice and tidy, the owner and staff are lovely, she enjoys all the entertainment and company. As visitors we are all made very welcome, any time we come.
Thank you all at North Ferriby Home for all your love and support.
It was the best decision I ever made.
My mum is so happy and content, I can not thank the owner and all her staff for all the love and support they have given me and my mum.
I cannot speak highly enough of the North Ferriby Nursing home the staff are welcoming to every one. Their dedication to the clients is wonderful to see. Our daughter has the best care and attention as do all the residents.
Her end-of-life care was deeply distressing, resembling a discredited Care Pathway, where pain relief was inadequate, and her comfort was not prioritized.
I want to acknowledge that the staff did their best with their limited time, but simply weren't enough of them to provide the care residents deserve. The real issue lies with management and poor staffing levels.
If you're considering this home for a loved one, ask difficult questions. No family should have to experience what I did.
Our sympathies are with this family, and with all who lose a loved one in circumstances that they may find traumatic. However, the content of the review makes some serious allegations including neglect, not just by the home but also the medical practitioners responsible for this lady's health...
The home has met my expectations and enabled me to recover from my operation.
Staff were excellent, letting me have my own space and taking good care of me.
My Mother has been a resident for over 4 years and we've always felt that Mum received great care, however, the love and support shown to her by nursing staff since the loss of her husband and our Dad in August has been the biggest credit to North Ferriby Nursing Home.
Overall I'm very happy with the care my mum is receiving at North Ferriby Nursing Home. The staff are excellent and she gets on really well with them all. They listen to her needs and act on her requests.
If you are looking for a home that your loved one wants to be cared for in, do not hesitate to contact the manager and her team.
My relative has been assessed by visiting GP, nursing staff within the home and a care plan produced. Staff have undertaken a thorough assessment throughout the past for weeks and they have always been available for discussion.
My relative is very well cared for, comfortable in her own room with good facilities. I have no concerns for her welfare.
My father was admitted to North Ferriby Nursing Home after being in hospital. The care my father received was exceptional. All the staff cared for my father with dignity and respect. I cannot thank them enough.
I visit my aunt about once every six weeks. She is always well looked after. The room is clean and nicely furnished (the bedding and curtains are pretty). She always has plenty to drink and snacks and dinners are homecooked and look very tasty. She tells me she is very comfortable. The staff are always very kind and helpful. As a visitor, I feel welcomed and included and can drop in anytime. It seems to be very well run. Management always says hello and is keen to help. I cannot rate 'Value for Money' as I don't deal with the money.
