As a family we were all very emotional, having to put Dad in a care home. Dad has dementia. From the first time we had a meeting with the manager, we were made to feel welcome. When Dad went into Riverhead Hall everyone made Dad and me, my sister and Mum feel welcome. Everyone is so dedicated to their
job. Dad has been in 6.5 weeks now, I ring on days I cannot get to visit and it's never a problem for whoever answers the call, they are always available to give me an update on Dad. If he isn't feeling well, someone will call and make sure we are aware of what is happening. As a family, we feel part of a bigger family now as not only do they all do an amazing job of caring for Dad but they have shown compassion to us all when we have struggled with the transition of Dad settling in and we are so grateful of all the dedication and hard work they all do with a smile on their faces. Thank you to everyone who helps make our dad feel part of his new home in Riverhead Hall.

The care for my mother at the end of her life has been unbelievably loving and thoughtful. The staff are a complete delight and treated her with the utmost kindness, dignity and love. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you all.

This is the 3rd time my father has been to stay at Riverhead Hall. Each time he received excellent care, from each and every member of staff who he came into contact with. I personally want to thank the Manager for having such a good team, who go above and beyond their remit, to make the residents feel
loved and part of a big family. I would recommend this care home to anyone wanting that bit of TLC, because you will certainly receive it.

I cannot fault the care my mother continues to receive at Riverhead Hall. All the staff are friendly and helpful and really seem to care about the residents. It feels like a little family. The rooms are fresh and clean.

My grandma has lived at Riverhead Hall for around five years and I would not want her to be in any other care home. Riverhead Hall is lovely, the staff are all very helpful and friendly and most importantly my grandma is happy there. They have a lifestyle coordinator who provides lots of activities
and my grandma loves to join in. The home itself is lovely and clean and grandma's room is always immaculate. Riverhead Hall is set on beautiful grounds and my grandma loves to spend time in the garden chatting with other residents. I can recommend this home to anyone.

Our mum has recently moved into this home following the closure of the one she has been in for three years. The overall feel of 'Riverhead' is much more appealing on so many levels. Mum is clearly more comfortable even though she is unable to make any responses to her surroundings. (It is not possible
to comment on food, facilities, etc, as she is unable to participate).

After an extremely difficult year for the family, Mum was admitted to Riverhead Hall with later stages of vascular dementia. The staff from the onset have been wonderful and helped us cope with this traumatic time. Nothing has been too much trouble and I have found everyone to be professional, attentive
and loving. Mum is settling in and always looks well presented and has quickly bonded with staff members.
We are always kept updated and are encouraged to visit as often as we like. On our visits, we are given tea and biscuits in the wonderful garden. They are able to provide a level of ongoing care and dignity that we sadly could not provide as Mum's condition worsens. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness.

After a horrible few months in hospital after a major stroke, my Grandma spent some weeks in Riverhead for respite before returning home. All of the staff were so welcoming and accomodating for both her and all of our family. They allowed us to visit daily (whilst abiding by Covid guidelines) which
really helped to lift all of our spirits after having spent so long apart. The communication was fantastic and they were always available to answer any queries and put our minds at ease. The staff brought my Grandma on tremendously both physically and mentally - the change in just 6 weeks was phenomenal. We cannot thank them enough!

Mum was in Riverhead Hall this month for respite care. The care she received was second to none. The staff are so caring and nothing is too much trouble day or night. Mum was treated with kindness and respect from the minute she went in, to coming home. I would not hesitate to leave mum with these wonderful

My dear dad has now been living at Riverhead Hall for over 4 years. Obviously, the last 12 months have been very difficult for all of us, but it has given me great peace of mind that Dad has been well looked after by the amazing staff at the Care Home and for that, I cannot thank the staff enough. It
has recently been a delight to see them all again whilst visiting Dad face to face at last; it feels like I am a part of their "family" as much as Dad is. I also find the managers extremely approachable and eager to listen to any concerns I might have had. The current renovations and decoration are making the whole place feel very comfortable and loved once more. He may not say it often, but I know that Dad has the same opinion as myself and is happy living in Riverhead Hall Care Home.

In December 2020 my mum caught Covid 19. She became very poorly very quickly and spent the following few months struggling through the dreadful effects the virus had on her and went from being a pretty active 90-year-old to struggling for her life, bedridden and sleeping most of the time. The staff
of Riverhead Hall, both carers and managers, who have been mum's second family since moving into the home in August of 2019, through their dedication, devotion and selflessness in the face of this horrid virus, brought her through. She is now up and about, enjoying the lovely food and in-house entertainment. She likes her room which is very comfortable and more than anything she likes the carers who take care of her 24/7. Mum is recovering well and although not back to how she was before Covid, she is well on her way. My family and I cannot thank all concerned at Riverhead Hall enough.

My husband and I have always found the staff very helpful and friendly and we are very pleased with the way they look after my Mother and all the other residents. Over the last year during covid, they have gone out of their way to keep all the residents happy, well and entertained as relatives have
not been able to visit. My mother has always seemed to be happy while she has been living at the care home and she is always clean and well-fed. All in all very happy with the way things are run.

I have always found the care excellent for my relative, nothing is too much trouble even in these stressful times. Plenty of activities going on for the residents, very nice meals, drinks when requested. I find the staff very helpful and courteous at all times. The rooms are kept to a good standard
and never smell anything but sweet. I would recommend Riverhead Hall with no qualms to anyone. Lots of nice space outside for relaxing and visiting including a pod for wet days.

I have had involvement with care homes for several decades professionally and personally with several family members. My mother and late father-in-law have both been residents in Riverhead Hall for over a year. The care provided has been exceptional. The staff are professional, caring, compassionate
to both residents, family and friends visiting. Nothing could be too much trouble for them. They show respect and dignity at all times. They have risen to the challenges of the covid-19 restrictions admirably and should congratulate themselves. We can't thank them enough.

Excellent administration. Very warm welcome on arrival with a surprise picnic tea. COVID restrictions are understandably tight but consistent and fair in the circumstances. An excellent care home situated in pleasant countryside at the edge of Driffield. Good access. Everywhere is clean, bright, well-decorated with roomy wide corridors. On entering there is a happy, welcoming atmosphere. Visitors can enter at any time and residents have access to numerous daily activities.
Has a large airy dining room and lovely gardens.
