From feeling worried and insecure, my stay at Fulford Nursing Home has given me a new lease of life. The staff and service here are quite simply wonderful and have attended to my every need. All done on a family atmosphere. I lack achievement, but they do it a Fulford Nursing home. The staff work as
a team and all get on together.
Although situations can change rapidly, and as a result become very difficult for everyone. The carers cope very well and still provide excellent care. Thank you.

I went to Fulford Nursing Home following a fall and was there for just over a month. The staff were lovely, treating me with care and kindness. The home-cooked food was great! My dignity was respected and I felt safe.

The staff and the food were excellent. The two chefs did a wonderful job with what they produced. Each meal had a choice of many dishes and their staff were caring. The nursing staff were caring, the nursing staff were always kind and they handled the difficult patients gently.

During my short stay at the Fulford Nursing Home, I was made most welcome by the staff, who all worked together as a team.
All patients were treated with respect. Nothing was any trouble for the staff. I was helped in every way possible and you were made to feel at home.

If someone had a fall like I did and needed help walking, I think it was excellent. In the six days I was in Fulford I thought the staff would do anything to help you and very pleasant.

I was well cared for during my stay at the nursing home.
The staff were very attentive to my needs, including taking me for short walks. Visiting O/T staff drew up a series of exercises for me to do. My shared bedroom was comfortable and adequately furnished. The nursing staff ensured that residents
received their medication at the appropriate times.
There was a choice of food at breakfast, lunch and evening meal. Tea/coffee etc and snacks were available, mid-morning, mid-afternoon and prior to bedtime.

A warm, friendly welcome to both residents and visitors. Extremely helpful and caring staff who seek to provide the best possible service. Nothing is too much trouble. It is a very homely place where residents and visitors are treated like a family.
Particular attention to small details is given such
as favourite food and special needs. Visitors are immediately asked if they would like a drink on arrival and homemade cakes are always offered to everyone. Any problems are soon addressed and the management team are always ready to support and communicate with family and carers as appropriate, respecting confidentiality.

My aunt spent three months in Fulford Nursing home for end of life care.
We couldn’t have chosen a better place for her to end her days. The staff are so caring and made her last few months as comfortable as possible. They accommodate relatives in the best possible way, always approachable and always
offering drinks and meals to family wanting to spend quality time with residents.
I was always kept up to date with any concerns or changes and I know my aunt could not have been in a better place for her last few months.
