The home does not charge any top-ups on local authority or self-funded fees.
The fees charged cover all of a resident's care needs, meals and activities.
However, there are additional costs for hairdressing, chiropody and dentistry.
These prices are only a guideline, please contact Waverley Lodge Care Home to find out the exact price for your requirements.
If you chose a care home based in England, you may be eligible for NHS Funded Nursing Care (FNC), which helps cover the cost of nursing. This is worth £254.06 per week and is usually paid directly to the care home.
The home encourages family and friends to visit. However, they operate protected mealtimes in order to help residents focus on the nutritious meals prepared by the catering team. The home asks that visitors avoid arriving during meals.

We would like to thank the family member for the feedback. After purchasing Waverley Lodge in May 2017, we have started a program of improvements that includes redecorating bedrooms, lounges, and communal areas. We are undertaking building works in both dining rooms and will redecorate these once the work is finished. In addition, as part of our service to new residents, we personalise the décor in their bedrooms prior to them coming to live at Waverley Lodge.
We appreciate that this is a worrying time for the family but as always we have the best interests of the resident foremost in our minds. After consultations between health care professionals, family and staff, we believe that moving the resident to a suite that has nurses and carers who are specifically trained in working with people who are living with dementia, to be the appropriate avenue to take.
