Charlton Court

My mam was in Charlton Court Care Home from April 2022 until 10th June 2023. Over the period my mam stayed with you, she was well looked after. The staff were very kind to her and they kept her bedding and room the way she liked. I went to see Mam every day and got to know the staff well. They helped me cope in her last few weeks. I would recommend Charlton Court to place their loved one in this home.

Dad has got a new lease of life, mixing with other people. Staff are friendly and very caring. Food is not so good at times but, other than that, Dad's enjoying his stay.

Myself and family are very happy that my mother is here. We can see a big difference in her, she is very happy and is taking part in all activities.

I could never recommend this care home! Following our mother's sudden deterioration and hospitalisation on 5 January 2022, she passed away 24 hours later. She was admitted as level 1 to hospital. In our opinion, left too late. She was alert and fine on 1 January and had been a resident from 2021. Consequently, Safeguarding, CQC have had involvement and most of our complaints have been upheld. There are new management in place now. Too little, too late in our case. Ask for nourishment and hygiene records for your loved one.

Very warm friendly atmosphere, all staff have been approachable and interested in Dad and ensured he is happy and comfortable at all times. Dad has been welcomed into his new home with such kindness and included in activities straight away and meeting new friends. Absolutely delighted with how well Dad has settled and so happy we picked Charlton Court.

We, as a family, could not be happier with the reception our dad has received so far at Charlton Court. The staff have made Dad feel really special, and even though we are still in his two-week trial, he has asked to stay.

My brother-in-law lives in Charlton Court. He had been waiting for a chair for a while to no fault of the home. It all got sorted with the new manager; she has made a big difference. Everybody is always friendly and helpful, from the nurses, carers, handyman, cleaners and cooks.

Always had a pleasant experience in all areas of care within the home. All staff are patient and considerate of residents' needs and work effortlessly to provide person-centred care. My mam is the most relaxed she has been in years. I am over the moon to have my mam in Charlton Court and would recommend it to anyone.

My father received palliative care at Charlton Court Care Home for ten days before he passed away. The management and staff were kind, considerate and hard-working at all times. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home.

Upon my first visit, the staff introduced themselves, showed me the location of the room and explained the social areas. All staff have been very friendly, approachable and caring. My family member is very happy and feels very much at home.

In my time at Charlton Court Care Home (eighteen months) management, carers, down to the cleaning staff have made my stay like a second home. They are professional as well as caring, are like a second family. I am mainly bed-bound but they are taking steps to make it easier for me to transfer from bed to my chair. I would have no hesitation in recommending Charlton Court to possible future service users. There is always 24-hour nursing care at all times.

My experience has been very good, I have enjoyed being here. When I first came I was having trouble but the staff of this company have helped me improve immensely, I would recommend this care provider to anybody.
