Rosemount Care Home in Whitley Bay offers purpose-built accommodation for up to 60 residents. The home's team of experienced and supportive staff has a genuine desire to provide the best care possible to each individual.

Each bedroom has ensuite facilities and residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms to make them feel more at home. Residents' families are involved as much as possible in their care to ensure they receive the right care and according to their wishes.

The home's head chef provides nutritionally balanced home-cooked meals based on residents' dietary requirements, likes and dislikes.

Residents are encouraged to pursue hobbies and interests. Residents benefit from communal and quiet lounges, patio areas for relaxing, socialising or for a bit of gardening.

A happy and vibrant care home with very caring and motivated staff. The team spirit is evident from the moment you enter the home and this is one of the key issues I would look for in the care sector.
I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Rosemount to anyone in need of its excellent
services.

Very welcoming home, staff are pleasant and welcoming there is a feeling of tranquillity. It would be nice to see some more chairs in the general lounges. The home is always very clean there are no unpleasant odours which I have experienced in other homes. I was delighted to see fresh flowers in the
home. It would be nice to see a visitors book where visitors can leave comments.

Friend was a resident. The home has a lovely welcoming atmosphere and a calm peaceful feel to it which was reassuring. My friend, unfortunately, passed away but was treated with an excellent level of end of life care.

A friend went into care home unexpectedly following a stint in the hospital. Settled very quickly and was treated very well by all staff. All visitors made to feel very welcome. Good facilities and communal areas. She loved the food.

The staff and management are fantastic, caring, compassionate and willing to go that extra mile, to take care of the residents. I would like to think if I need care in the future, my family would be settled, if I was in such a caring environment. The management have done a wonderful job of turning this
home into something special for all involved.

Rosemount Care Home is a very very well run home, from the cleaners to the managers, everyone is always happy. They give their full attention to everything. They say nothing is a problem, they will go the extra mile to make sure all the residents never miss out.
My father is very well cared for, he
always thanks anyone who helps him. On a whole, I cannot fault Rosemount Care Home at all. It is a cheery, warm and welcoming place.

The care home has a friendly welcoming atmosphere, the staff I met were helpful and I was welcomed with a lovely smile.
One Other thing I noticed was that the residents all looked settled and comfortable and the carers were having conversations with them it looked like a little community.
