Croft Dene Care Home is in the Wallsend area of North Tyne side and offers general and dementia residential care.

My Sister moved to Croftdene from hospital in June as was unable to return to her home. Everything about the Care Home is exceptional. She has settled in great due to the staff. Everytime I go to visit I am impressed by the way the home is ran. All staff are friendly and keep me informed about what
she has been doing and I feel confident when I leave knowing she is happy, content and well cared for. Meals are outstanding. If I ever need to go in Care myself I would hope I could go to Croftdene.

My sister moved into Croft Dene after suffering an accident at her previous accommodation, resulting in her needing more 'one to one' care. The care is definitely far superior, and she seems to be progressing very well in all matters.

Staff are very friendly. They are great with the residents there job is very challenging.They all work so hard . Love there is activities every day . Everyone has great times. The residents are all well looked after .by staff and medically which I think is great knowing Drs go in to check on the residents.

The staff are very helpful and caring.
I live 300 miles away and contact each day by telephone, the staff are very helpful when I call.
The rooms are clean.

This care home is exceptional in giving the care for my mother in law. She is well looked after and the team is friendly and helpful from the manager, the deputy manager and all. Every member of staff and management are so kind and carrying always their and very helpful with any enquiries we have. If there is anything my father wants or needs, they will not hesitate to resolve it very quickly and it's no bother to them. The respect they show residents and families is second
to none. My dad has complex needs. When he's not well, usually ending up in hospital on occasions not breathing, but made it back to us, the staff sat with him nearly 2 hours waiting for an ambulance, trying to keep him awake. They were so good when he's unwell, they check him all the time. All staff check on him even if they're just passing. There is lots going on in the home, activities, bingo, flower arranging to name just a couple. They're encouraged to join in but if they don't want to that's not a problem. I wouldn't hesitate but to recommend Croft Dene, they're the best. One big happy family, love it. My dad is so so happy at Croft Dene but had to fight social services to let him stay.

Amazing experience. My nana is there and has had absolutely no problems her entire time there and most definitely the best care home she's been in without a doubt. Every time I go and see her, she's smiling and laughing and just always looks happy to be there.

My mam went to Croft Dene in May 2024 after a safeguarding issue with her previous home which had led to a long hospital stay. I can honestly say that Croft Dene have been absolutely fantastic. From the care they provide to my mam, to the communication and kindness they show us as her family. They have
plenty of activities for the residents and they go the extra mile with everything, including parties at Halloween, Christmas and making a fuss on her recent birthday. I would like to give exceptional mention to one staff member in particular, who has been one of my main point of contact. Together we created my mam's care plan and it was done with so much attention to detail and catered to meet all of her needs. The new manager has also worked so hard in creating such a wonderful atmosphere and environment for residents and their families. The circumstances around her going to Croft Dene were so upsetting but the home is incredible and I couldn't wish for her to be in better care.

The care staff at Croft Dene are fantastic, they are all very friendly, polite and very helpful.
The living and communal areas are all kept clean to the highest of standards.
The food is of an excellent standard and the portions are more than adequate.

My mam moved into Croft Dene in July 2022 and received excellent care until she passed away in December 2024. The staff have got to know us all as a family and supported my dad, who visited mam every day. They also looked after his well being and made him so welcome. We are so thankful for the compassion
shown to both of my parents. We as a family shared many happy moments in Croft Dene; music and singing, cakes for birthdays, Valentines meals and Sunday lunches for mam and dad, afternoon tea for Mothers Day etc.

I feel reassured when I'm not with my mum that the staff not only look after mum's physical needs but also support her emotionally, especially after the death of my dad 2 months ago.
Manager, senior care staff involve me in mum's care and are very approachable. I could not cope without their support.

love how affectionate they are with mum as she misses that from her husband.

Our mam was a resident at Croft Dene for two and a half years before her recent passing.
During her stay there, she was very happy, very comfortable and settled.
The staff are so friendly and approachable and they go above and beyond at all times. Her care was always fantastic till the very end and
they were so compassionate and treated her with dignity - she was in very safe hands for which we were so very grateful.
Croft Dene is a lovely care home which we would highly recommend.

Overall I and my family have been very pleased with our experience with Croft Dene. The staff have been excellent in their kindness of care. However, the communication with the main office regarding invoicing and financial awareness/communication has a lot to be desired. Communication and customer awareness.
Croft Dene's office management and staff could not be more helpful and proactive.

From the senior management down, there us a culture of care, sympathy and dignity displayed towards residents. My father was a resident for several months before he passed away (18/02/02023) and it was apparent that he was held in the highest esteem by all staff. Will not hesitate to recommend Croft
