Primrose Lodge Care Home

He sadly passed after being only a week in Willow Lodge but I’m thankful for the nurse for being with him when I couldn’t.

I found Willow Lodge very good. Professional, clean, food was good and they took excellent care of my mum. The staff were excellent. I was pleased with her care.

The care home goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Relaxed. Welcomed. They look after my wife with respect and the staff are pleasant at all times.

In August 2018 our dear mother was admitted to Willow Lodge in her 100th year when her needs dictated she required full nursing care. She was at 'end of life' when admitted and therefore was the only resident for a short time, during which she received a high level of nursing care and compassion. As a family, we have nothing but praise for Willow Lodge. The staff are professional, caring and highly communicative - nothing is too much trouble. We feel we made the right choice for our mother in choosing this care home.

I would just like to pass on my huge thanks to the nursing staff and care staff for the wonderful job they do at 'The Willows'. All the staff are caring, considerate and always willing to help. My mum is well looked after and we as a family have peace of mind knowing she is safe and well cared for. We are very appreciative of all your hard work.

Willow Lodge provided a homely and caring environment for my mother during the last two years. Staff were always caring and quick to respond to any needs. Her health and comfort needs were always of paramount importance to the staff.

The attention and care are very very good. The staff are friendly and really good with the residents. I'm happy to leave my mother in there she is very happy and loves the attention she gets.

My mother currently resides in Willow Lodge Care Home and has been a resident there since May '17. I wish to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of all the management, nursing and care staff. They are always incredibly busy but never too busy to show the residents respect, kindness and care. I was particularly impressed that on Remembrance Sunday, a number of carers took residents in their wheelchairs to the Remembrance Day Service. The residents thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I just want to applaud and commend their thoughtfulness and kindness.

I cannot speak more highly of the staff at Willow Lodge.

My father went into Willow Lodge in March from hospital and was looked after by a dedicated and caring team, from the cooks to the laundry staff everyone was so helpful and caring. Sadly my father passed away in May and the carers and nurses treat my dad with the utmost respect and dignity. The support given to all the family was much appreciated and I would not hesitate to recommend this care home. Nothing was too much trouble and my dad kept them all on their toes during the 2 months he was there.

I have been in hospital for some time now and recently moved here to Willow Lodge Care Home. My main reason I came here was when a nurse came to carry out my pre-assessment I was over the moon to see a dark beauty which I know now is the home manager. I think apart from that the place is full of hear warming and caring people nothing is a bother and they are so fun.

Canny place to live, good people who show me a great deal of respect, wanting to hear about my life, what I've done, where I've been and what I've seen. I feel well cared for, safe and never hungry or lonely.

I keep them on their toes, great staff, great manager, great food. the cleaning is the best, and I think the carers are fab. It's great that the whole team actually care and show this daily.

I recently returned to visit a friend. 3 years ago my mother was in here and the place has come on leaps and bounds. It look nice and smells a lot better. The staff are all upbeat and friendly.

I've been extremely pleased with the way that my wife has been cared for by all the staff in this most comfortable home. Everything has been truly excellent and in some cases overwhelming in the kindness and thoughtfulness shown and indeed acted upon. Both my wife and I were given a really wonderful party on our recent 67th wedding anniversary totally on their own thoughtfulness. I felt completely overwhelmed by the kindness shown by all the staff to both of us. I couldn't have had more care from anyone.

Access to outdoors would be most beneficial to my friends. She would enjoy sitting outside on warm days.

I am really happy with the care my husband has received in the time he has been here. I have no complaints, if there has ever been anything I wasn't happy about it, has been dealt with straight away.

I am very happy here. I don't have worried having to do things like washing or housework. I feel safe knowing there is always some one around. I enjoy the food. I am happy with the much improved activities and manager. I enjoy the entertainment that we have on especially our senior carers and old time music afternoons.

I feel the staff here at Willow Lodge are the most caring people I have ever known. Never met such a fantastic bunch of people.
