My mother has been in the home, now, for two years. After two previous homes not suiting my mother's needs, we've found the perfect place. My mother lives her room, which is like a small self-contained flat. The size of the home is also ideal, housing around 40 residents.
The staff are always attentive and very caring. Nothing seems to be too much trouble, and they're always striving to ensure mam is happy, and her welfare needs are met. From top to bottom, staff do their utmost, in what is a difficult and challenging role. I like to thank those staff for their kindness and continuing support to the family and mam. Their efforts are appreciated by all the family, after a difficult few years before mam went into a the home.

From the moment we were shown around the home, we believed that it would be the most suitable accommodation. We were not sure how my mother-in-law would settle at first, as she has had a lot going on and had just been discharged from the hospital. After nearly three months, however, we can say that she has settled in very well, she enjoys taking part in the various activities, and we feel that she is being well looked after. She has said herself that the staff could not be more friendly and helpful, and we have seen for ourselves the respect and care that they provide for all of the residents. Although she has some continuing medical needs, these are all well attended to by the staff who liaise with the medical professionals to ensure that the necessary medical care is also in place, informing us when necessary as to what has happened. We feel comfortable about the care she is receiving and believe that she is being well looked after and her needs are being fully met. Communication has been excellent.
