My mam was resident from earlier this year and sadly died a short while ago. Since my mam has lived at Hylton View Care Home she has been cared for fantastically by all the staff including all the carers, housekeeping team and management. I really could not have asked for better care. My Dad is also now a resident and I'm sure he will continue to receive the best care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this care home. I am quite happy with my mam's care although it can never be like one's own home. I think the staff try their best to care for the residents even when short-staffed. They are friendly, caring and engaging as is the managers and this is how it should always be. Nail cleaning should be more frequent though and I am aware that clothing and other items sometimes go amiss. Meals are nice as I often go in for a weekday meal or on a Sunday. Activities must be ongoing and pleasurable for the residents, it's so important. I work in care myself and know its value.
