Sharon LewisJob Title Activities CoordinatorJoined 2017

Sharon has been a valued member of the team at Hazelgrove since 2017. Sharon facilitates a variety of meaningful activities for our residents, promoting their social interests and independence.

She has worked in the care sector for over 25 years and has a breadth of knowledge and understanding around person-centred care and the promotion of independence. Sharon has supported and worked very hard to complete eight standards in order to qualify for Hazelgrove to be a veteran-friendly home.

Sharon is a qualified NHS service champion, which allows her to support all veterans inside and outside of our care setting.

Sharon has gained NVQ Level III in Activities Coordinator and Level IV in Health & Social Care. Read less

Tracy WelfordJob Title Care Home Advanced PractitionerJoined 2009

Tracy is a valued member of the team and has been working at Hazelgrove for 16years. She has a good understanding of person-centred care for the residents and always promotes their independence. She has gained her NVQ2 and NVQ3 in Health & Social Care and has gone on to complete her Care Home Advanced Practitioner Award, which includes an advanced medication qualification, enabling her to assist the Nurses. Tracy also has her Train The Trainer certificate to allow her to train the team in safer moving and handling.

Tracy has also graduated from Teesside University with a qualification in End of Life alongside the Gold Standard Framework. Read less
