My wife marjorie is a resident at the willows the care is exerlent i can not fault any of staff from julie manageress 2 all the staff they all so helpful and go the extra mile there is nothing they wont do for my wife and all other reidents

Mum has been at the Willows since early 2023. The standard of care she has received from the whole team there is extraordinary. All the staff in all the different roles that make a care home work are deeply caring and form strong bonds with those they care for and their families. It is a special thing to be absolutely confident that mum is safe and being well cared for by such a talented team. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere in the home, a real family vibe. Outstanding!

The Willows really is an excellent specialist care home for dementia patients and I would recommend to anyone thinking of moving a relative into this facility to jump at the opportunity, you will not be disappointed, once again I want to express my deep thanks to all at the Willows for the future,

Mam has settled really well in home. Staff are friendly and very caring. Tracy and team make every day fun with lots of activities. She would be bored and asleep in chair without this. Really happy with care provided.

We would not hesitate to recommend the Willows.

I am very grateful that mum has the dignity she deserves at this stage of her illness.

Dad had been in his previous care home for just over a year when we moved him to The Willows. The contrast was like chalk and cheese. The manager was there to welcome us and his room was made to feel like home within the first 10 mins, with the 'handyman' present immediately to move furniture etc. The happy faced staff popped into his room to introduce themselves and the energy of the home was incredible. Unfortunately Dad's residence at The Willows was very short, but in that 2 weeks he told us he felt safe, understood and greatly respected. He didn't really need to tell us this as we could feel the change in him. We didn't know it at the time, but the nursing care we thought he needed turned out to be end of life care. We can't thank the staff enough for the deep sensitivity and compassion they showed not only Dad, but us as a family during this time...ensuring he passed with the utmost dignity and affording us memories of this time to cherish. We are profoundly and forever grateful.

I would give The Willows 100 stars if it was allowed because the care and compassion they gave my Brother during his short stay in Palliative Care was 100 percent! From the Managers/Admin staff to the Nurses, Carers, Cleaners, Laundry and Maintenance staff the level of care was reassuring to my Brother and myself that all that could be done for him was done with kindness, friendly smiles and dedication to their work. Thank you so much for keeping him safe and as comfortable as possible in his final days.

Since my mam moved into the willows I have seen a definite improvement in her wellbeing, she looks better and is always clean and warm, the food although I haven't tried it yet seems to agree with her. Yesterday the 20th of march she said to me that "this is my home now" which was wonderful to hear. The staff from management down to the cleaners are always there with a smile and a bit of banter, just what she needed.

After a short spell in hospital, it was clear that Dad was no longer able to manage at home, on 7/5/24 he became a resident at The Willows. The care he receives is nothing short of excellent, he's encouraged to take part in activities when he can. The staff are sensitive and compassionate, what more could you ask for. Whether you pass a cleaner, carer or a nurse in the corridor there is always a smile/hello. A very well-managed home with a great team doing great work, from the laundry to the nurses and carers and admin. Keep up the good work!

I find the staff extremely helpful and polite and nothing is too much trouble. In some cases I believe they have gone beyond their remit to help my mother. The staff have allayed any anxiety she may have had about going into care and made her time as comfortable as possible.

I cannot thank the manager, the nurse and the numerous carers enough for the assistance and care they gave to my aunt when she was end of life. They made the admission process as easy as possible in view of some of the difficulties we were faced with. The care given was excellent and the staff cared about her even though they had only known her for a short time. My aunt died peacefully with us by her side, just as we wanted. What a wonderful place this is. Thank you.

Lovely care home, couldn’t thank the manager enough for helping me and my family get my great auntie up here from Peterborough to spend her last days with us even though it was only short term, thank you to all the staff that supported us through this hard time.

My relative recently passed away here and the care was faultless. The staff were so attentive and caring not only to my relative, but to the wider family too. Absolutely amazing, everyone did a wonderful job.

My father-in-law sadly passed away on the 8th of September 2023 but had been a resident of The Willows for five years, and in all of those five years he not only received the best care but was shown love and compassion at all times while receiving his care, but in his last few weeks the staff at The Willows extended that care to all of his loved ones while we were by his side, they went above and beyond to make sure we were all looked after too, and nothing was a problem, for this we will be forever grateful and thankful.

The kindness and compassion all of your staff have shown these past few days I've been visiting my uncle I will never forget. He has been treated with dignity respect and most of all love, you all truly care and it clearly shows not just what I've witnessed with my uncle but from the moment you step through the door. The dedication and care from you all have been exceptional your staff go above and beyond anything I've seen before in a care home. I'm grateful to you all. Thank you.

This in many ways has to be put down to the care shown by the staff at The Willows with what seems endless “ hellos”, “ how are you?” and general chit-chat during the day with her. This seems trivial but the feeling of isolation and worry has been removed, and we now see our mam in ways we didn’t think we would again while we struggled to look after her at home. Thank you to everyone at The Willows for doing this and to everyone involved in providing her care.

Absolutely wonderful care home, staff are lovely and always have time to have a chat with you. They treat my dad with respect, dignity and care. The entertainment is brilliant, I can’t fault this care home. My dad has settled in and is very happy, which reassures me we made the right move.

I'm happy that his final years will be here.
