A heartfelt thanks for the support to our family as well as the excellent standard of care provided for my father in law during his latter months as he fell victim to that cruel thing called dementia. The warmth shown to us all, especially my mother in law, when visiting her husband could not have been better and in truth, we felt like part of the "family" very quickly. Their bar of excellence is set very high from both a managerial as well as a daily carer perspective and all the staff already know how fondly we look upon them all. It is our pleasure to leave a review of the highest standard as a family and our thanks, of course, to be recorded and available for review by others looking for the same high standard of service.

I always receive a warm welcome off staff and residents. The care my mam receives is knowing she is in safe hands and her needs are met. Nothing is a concern to go discuss any issue with the manager. My mam has an active life with going out and joining in with the activities and shopping.

Fantastic service. I lived my stay whilst my daughter went on holiday. I spent 16 days in Pelton grange Care Home, the service was amazing, food, hospitality and care all outstanding.
I made some amazing friends and continue to see them when I go up and see my wife who has Alzheimer's.

Thank you x

I cannot fault this care home nor thank them enough for the care, support and compassion they have shown my mother and myself. Originally an emergency temporary care home, but Mum liked it so much she wanted to stay permanently and I'm glad she did. Nothing is too much trouble, food is good quality, rooms are cosy and there are regular activities to keep residents entertained. A happy home run by a great team who really care. Keep up the good work.

On the second day in the home, my wife managed to get out into the garden when she fell and badly injured her face but great care was taken of her by staff.

I cannot find anything wrong with the staff in the home, she has settled in very nicely.

Best way to describe this place is amazing. My mum has Alzheimers, we came for a visit on 27th April and she loved it. Came into respite on 30th April and hasn't left. The staff are amazing, friendly, very approachable and can't do enough to help you and your family member. Out of ten, they deserve 11. Anyone wanting a safe environment for a family member then there is only one place and it's Pelton Grange Care Home.

My nana is always happy and settled with the staff. She has a good relationship with the staff and makes us feel happy knowing she is being well looked after.

It always feels like I'm at my nana's bungalow as there is always conversation and the staff always make time for us.

My father of 95 who has been independent till his loss of site needed to give my mother a little respite. So we with reluctance decided to give him and Mam the rest and help he needed. After only one day our minds were put to rest as we saw the care he was receiving.

He has done nothing but praise the staff, the food and the care he has received. The staff, as we have seen, are very attentive and could not do enough for him.

A good standard of care is provided by the home. Staff are friendly and approachable. Facilities for care seem good and there are frequent activities within the home. Carers seem to treat my father with a caring nature and know him by name. Sometimes a shower is promised without being realised although it is enacted within next one to two days. My father generally likes the food provided but sometimes gets a different meal to that ordered the previous day although this is not a major problem. Overall we are happy with his care.

My aunt was a resident of Pelton Grange Care Home for three years up until her death two months ago at the age of ninety-four. She was so happy at Pelton Grange Care Home and the care and attention were first-class. The staff are very friendly and caring. It is a very warm and comfortable home and a number of activities for the residents take place. I cannot fault this home. The manager, administrative assistant and carers are all so kind and helpful.

I chose this home for my mother from of word of mouth recommendations by friends who in the past, have had relatives in here. I can't stress enough how grateful I am for all the help my mam is getting here and the amount of support myself and the family have received from all the staff. I would recommend this care home to anyone looking for great care for their loved one.

A pleasant care home, though some staff need to pay more care and attention to some of the simple things to assist in the care and well being of the residents. Overall a family type atmosphere but just lacking a little bit of thought from some, which might make some residents a little more comfortable.
