I was a resident for 3 months whilst waiting for a home care package to be arranged. The overall standard was excellent and I would recommend Ely Court to anyone considering a care home for long or short-term use. There is a strong management team with professional and sympathetic support staff. The rooms are modern and of a high standard whilst the building is of historical interest. The outdoor space and garden is currently being refurbished and will be an additional asset when completed.

My father has been at Ely Court since December 2020. We were in lockdown and couldn’t see him before he went there. When dad arrived, the manager was waiting with the phone for me to speak to him as she knew how worried I was. This is one example of the many thoughtful things the manager and all the staff do. When I saw dad’s room I couldn’t believe it. It’s beautiful with a wonderful shower room and lots of cupboard space. The home is immaculate and a lovely building. Dad is so very happy there. My family and I know he is in safe hands and is well cared for by very thoughtful people. We are kept informed always about what is going on at the home. We phone every day to speak to him. The amazing receptionist is always helpful and kind. The manager, the receptionist, and all the girls, we can’t thank you enough.

Mam's stay at the care home was very good considering the covid situation. When we were able to see her she was always clean, tidy, and looked well looked after having her hair done, etc. Mam was treated with dignity in her final days at the home. The staff were always accomodating and professional.

My beloved grandmother lived at Ely Court for the last 13 months of her life. I visited my nan weekly as covid restrictions began to relax gradually. My nan received great, medical care, which supported her physical and mental needs. It is not easy entrusting people you don’t know with your loved one, but my fears soon left. Thankfully, all staff treated my nan with love, respect, courtesy, and patience. Most of all, they treated nan as though they would want their own relative treated. The room my nan stayed in was beautiful, better than any hotel that I have stayed in. It had a beautiful, homely environment. Nan loved the food there. She stopped looking frail and was looking really well, especially as she was a very poorly lady. The night that my nan become really ill, a lovely nurse stayed with her all night and was with my nan as she passed. I cannot recommend this home enough.

My mum has been loved and cared for by the staff at Ely Care Home for almost two years. She was a very sick lady when she arrived but because of their care, she is now thriving. I live in Canada but see her twice weekly on Zoom calls and can't thank everyone enough for everything they do for mum.

I have no hesitation in recommending Ely Court Care Home to future residents and their families. My 84-year-old mum has lived here for over a year, moving in when she was no longer able to live independently and required nursing care. The manager and her staff are amazing, extremely professional but so, so caring to my mum. She is very well looked after in a beautiful room (en-suite) that overlooks the gardens, enjoys the company of the staff (both night and day staff), has a choice of meals, snacks and drinks whenever she wants, clean laundry everyday and rooms are spotless. She is treated with the utmost dignity. There are of course activities too and my mum is looking forward to trips out with the other residents when lockdown is over. However, the most important thing is that despite all our worries about her having to go into a home, she is happy and content. I recommend 100%!

My mother-in-law chose this home herself after spending a week here previously for recuperation a year ago, at that time we were able to visit anytime. We were very happy with the choice. The home is run with professionalism, compassion and common sense, even in these very difficult times. Everyone we encountered either physically or over the phone was always friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Our family would not hesitate in recommending Ely Court to anyone.

I just want people to be reassured that their loved ones are so loved and cared for here. They are respected and treated with dignity. My Mum says she feels like the Queen here and is never left alone. It's a lovely happy and busy place. Food is excellent and catered to their needs. Doctor on call, Staff constantly there day or night. Amazing.

Mum deserves the best, she was 90 years old 2 weeks ago and a party was thrown for her. I'm so glad we found this wonderful Home. Many thanks to the Management Team and all the Sisters, Nurses and Carers.

Very good home where staff are very caring and considerate. Very clean and professionally run. Medically, my grandmother is looked after first class. Always a warm welcome. If I need to chat to my grandmother's nurse or carer they are always open and willing to explain anything that I'm not sure of. I'd recommend Court Nursing Home to anyone. Thank you for doing a great job with my grandmother.
