It was an upheaval for myself and my family to move Mum in, but the home staff have been so attentive and encouraging to Mum. We are, as a family, extremely grateful for the care provided.

My mum has been at Ty Coch Nursing Home for nearly two years. The home has recently had a makeover and looks fresh, bright and lovely. The staff in Ty Coch are amazing, always going the extra mile. There are always activities going on, my mum is encouraged to participate and thoroughly enjoys everything on offer. We feel very lucky that we chose Ty Coch for my mum. It's a lovely home, run well with very caring staff.

The staff are marvellous, the food is top-hole. The wifi is absolutely useless, a waste of money my buying steaming services because wifi cannot support them. Wheelchairs, large as they are, seem to vanish into thin air.

Thank you for your review. I will pass your comments on to all staff involved. With regard to the WiFi, this is unfortunately something that is out of our control. We will, of course, speak with our IT department for any resolution.

Dad has been warmly welcomed to his new home at Ty Coch and has been helped to settle in by the staff who have been amazing.
The home itself is very clean and the staff are friendly, hard working and committed to ensuring that Dad’s needs are fully met in all aspects of his care.
Also, it’s so pleasing to see Dad participating in the activities and enjoying the food!

Overall as a family we are very pleased with the care Dad is receiving- thank you all.

My mother has lived at Ty Coch Nursing Home for three and a half years. The care she receives is exceptional. The staff are friendly, patient and conscientious as well as being extremely hard-working and accessible. Ty Coch has a good feel about it and the staff are cheerful and welcoming. The brilliant ideas and events for entertaining the residents are thoughtful and lovely. The food is fantastic. My mind has been at rest since my mother moved in - I would (and do) recommend Ty Coch to anyone.

My mum has been in Ty Coch Nursing Home since 1st May 2023, naturally, she was very unsettled by the upheaval of a move from one care home to another, she seems to have settled quite well within the first four weeks. I have found the administration staff very helpful and was pleased to meet some of the carers this week to talk over Mum's resettlement.

All seems well so far, it is a little too early to give excellent ratings for services as we haven’t had the full experience as yet, the good rating does not reflect any problems.

Ty Coch is an outstanding nursing home, and my sister and I were so relieved that our father spent the last month or so of his life under the home's care. You get a good impression immediately on entering, as it looks (and smells) spotlessly clean. The home is tautly managed, and any issues over care are dealt with promptly and effectively; the staff are committed and caring, as well as experienced, and the staff make every effort to make both residents and family feel at home, with social activities for residents who want to participate. Special mention should be made of the food, which is very good indeed.

Amazing respite care for our father. The whole carer team are wonderful, so kind and thoughtful. It was so appreciated, the help and care. You are all so kind and the events team organise such super events which are so enjoyed. You've all been so welcoming and we appreciate it ever so much. A happy new year to you all. Thank you so much. Maintenance is also amazing - the TV made all the difference.

My father-in-law has been so well cared for whilst in Ty Coch. The staff have been very kind and made him feel so welcome. He has been able to settle in and even though his needs are complex, every effort has been made by the care home to provide him with tailored individual care. Our family is very very grateful for the love and care provided to him.

A great nursing home, always informative about dad's health and always informative if he is ever unwell. The home is spotlessly clean and the staff are very attentive to all residents. It's just a well-run nursing home, that as a relative, I have great trust in to look after my father.

Ty Coch provided an excellent standard of service. Their focus is on the resident's health and well-being. They offer the residents the opportunity to continue to enjoy a level of independent living against a backdrop of outstanding care. As a family, we all have peace of mind that our mother is very happy in a friendly, caring and professional environment and we would happily recommend Ty Coch as a residential care home.

The home is very clean. My wife has extensive care needs but whenever I visit, she has always been treated with dignity and respect. The staff are friendly and attentive; my wife is often taken to the lounge/garden so is not left alone and forgotten about. She has been there for almost a year now and I am very happy with the standard of care provided.

I was slightly early for my scheduled visit but welcomed with enthusiasm. The lady helped me with a Rapid Antigen test to ensure a negative result was obtained before I was permitted to visit my aunt and uncle. They were having their lunch and being helped as required. Food was hot and obviously tasty as both ate heartily. The room was warm, spacious and well maintained. Staff were regularly checking on their lunch progress, apart from the immediate helper. A very well organised and staffed establishment. Well done.
