Brynfield Manor Nursing & Residential Care Home is a lavishly extended and converted 19th century Manor House with panoramic views of the picturesque Gower Peninsula. The property overlooks the sea and cliffs of the beautiful Langland Bay and the well-kept gardens and terraced balconies can be enjoyed by all. Brynfield Manor is situated on the outskirts of Mumbles and is close to all amenities.

Brynfield Manor is part of Langland Care Ltd which is a small family run company. It provides quality healthcare for the elderly. A high standard of nursing care is provided by qualified nursing and care staff, within a pleasant and homely environment.

Staff understand that its difficult decision to leave the home you have lived in for many years and to which you may be very attached, so they want you to make their home your home.

When I visit my cousin in Brynfield Manor, I have found all the staff to be caring, kind, patient and professional in all they do for the residents. My cousin is very well cared for and the food is plentiful and nicely presented. Everywhere in Brynfield is very clean and well-dressed. I am very pleased

I wasn't sure about writing this, as my concerns may not reflect everyone's priorities. The carers at Brynfield were hardworking and kind. My issue was with the size and feel of the home. With around 70 rooms, it felt too big to meet my mum's needs. She often seemed lost in a busy, task-driven environment.
The communal room felt overcrowded and lacked real engagement, and her own room was small and dark-something I only noticed after moving her to a more homely setting. After six months, I tried to move her, but the process was poorly handled. Miscommunication from Brynfield delayed the move unnecessarily. Due to the lack of engagement, accountability, and poor handling, I filed a complaint with social services. Following their investigation, my concerns were upheld, and actions were taken to prevent this happening again. (August 2024)

I have been very impressed with Brynfield Manor which is a beautiful place in a stunning location. The staff are fantastic, really caring and friendly and respectful. I love getting regular updates from one staff member in particular who is wonderful and arranges great activities and entertainment.
Two further staff members are wonderful too, I feel very happy that my grandmother is being so well looked after here.

My Nana has done nothing but thrive since joining Brynfield. She is well cared for and always presented immaculately. Any issues raised (such as missing glasses) are resolved swiftly and communication about her changing health needs is excellent. As a care home manager myself, I was apprehensive about
her moving into a residential home, however I needn't have had any concerns. The staff are attentive and caring and I am really thrilled with the care she receives.

Very pleased with the care my mum gets. All the staff are lovely and attentive. Nice to see the activities they do with all the residents and to see on social media.
