Dad has been a resident now for about 9 months. I know he's not always been easy to care for and at times could try the patience of a saint but Cwm Cartref staff are unfailingly patient and cheerful with him. They're a great team and there's a real family atmosphere created by the friendly staff there.
Of course, nowhere can ever be perfect but at any time I've identified the smallest concern it has always been dealt with immediately and family has been kept informed and involved. Every week there is a variety of activities for residents to take part in as they wish and family and friends are always welcome at any time. Meetings are held for residents and families to discuss things and air their views or ask questions. I'm very happy that I chose Cwm Cartref for my dad and recommend it to others too.

My mum has been in Cwm Cartref for two and a half years and I have nothing but good things to say about the home. Staff are friendly and welcoming and very aware of all residents' different needs and ‘little ways’. The food is so good I’m thinking of booking myself in. Mum always looks well cared for

This care home is absolutely exceptional, the care my grandfather receives is outstanding and has been since the day he joined them all. I can't thank you all enough for your kindness, fantastic caring and hard work of the staff. From the bottom of all our hearts thank you for everything. He hasn't
got long left now but he's being made to feel as comfortable as possible and for that, we're extremely grateful.

So far Cwm Cartref Care Home has done more for my mum in a couple of weeks than her old home has done in the last six months.
She is no longer banging her head in pain, her teeth are clean and her breath fresh. Her appearance is clean and tidy. They even took a photo of her monkey and put it on her
wall so the carers know he's her best friend. Friendly staff and management who I've nagged about loads of aspects of Mam's care as I'm a bit of a control freak - looking forward to many happy months here.

What a wonderful care home. Spent two days visiting my mum. Every member of staff give 120%. The care they give is outstanding and nothing is too much for them. The food is amazing and all home-cooked. Lots of activities for the residents. I am so happy my mum is being cared for at Cwm Cartref. Lovely
atmosphere, very clean, what more can I say? Thank you to all the wonderful staff, you are amazing.

My mother was diagnosed with a large brain tumour and was given 4 to 6 weeks to live. My sister and I selected Cwm Cartref because of cleanliness, modern facilities, extremely confident, professional, dedicated staff and the overall feel of the place. One thing that did impress me during our assessment
visit was that 2 careers were eating their lunch on the move. Two care homes we visited had more staff in the common room, eating and drinking coffee, than working. My mother's personality changed from day to day because of the tumour, and not once did the staff lose their composure and professionalism. The care that she received was above and beyond what they should have provided. I cannot stress enough that both my sister and I would strongly recommend Cwm Cartref Care Home, as they were wonderful, even towards the end of my mother's life. As losing a loved one is a very difficult, emotional time what amazed me was they made it much more tolerable. Plus they are nice people.
