Glangarnant Care Home is a purpose built home which compromises of 39 rooms of which 3 are shared rooms. 23 rooms have ensuite facilities. The home is ground floor level and set within its own extensive grounds.

The home is situated just outside Ammanford with picturesque views over the countryside.

It is approximately two miles from the village of Garnant. It is close to local shops and a cinema and the larger town Ammanford is approximately 5 miles away.

The home offers person centred care in a warm, homely and friendly atmosphere. The team provide long-term and short-term care for both nursing and residential residents who are 65 years of age and over. They offer all residents excellent levels of care and support that is right for them. Care services are tailored around each individual to meet their specific needs and requirements.

The home has dedicated staff that provide the residents with the support, care and encouragement they need. The Home Manager is responsible for the direction of staff and the organisation of the caring and nursing service to ensure the highest quality of care is given to the residents.

Our Weekly fee is based on the choice of bedroom and the individual care needs required. Prior to the admission, the Home Manager or Clinical Lead will complete the Pre admission assessment to understand the support and care needs required. Very friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Everyone is very chatty and all interact with the residents even just when passing. The home is always well decorated for the different seasons, adding to the atmosphere.

When I visit I always receive a warm welcome from all the staff. The staff show kindness to my Gran and she is alway happy and well presented.
The home is alway clean and he room is very homely. The outside area is lovely, in the summer they have summer parties & fates, which everyone enjoys. They
also have singers and other activies which everyone enjoys.

I am more than satisfied with the care that my mother is receiving. Staff will always to do their best to ensure my Mother is happy. My father was only a resident for 7 weeks before sadly passing away recently. For the short time he was here he had the best care towards the end of his life. He was enjoying the activities, being around others and really settled in well to living in a care home. The staff have been supportive since

Excellent care, very friendly staff who do a wonderful job caring. All her needs are met. Very clean place. Staff provide entertainment for residents. They decorate the place for seasonal events eg. Christmas, Birthdays etc. days out etc. Staff are very kind, patient & caring to residents & everybody.
Its a delight to visits, and feel part of the family.

My son has been in Glangarnant for almost three years, after the initial settling-in period for him and for me accepting the situation everything was fine. It's a small home and personal, everybody knows the clients and the care is wonderful. The entertainment is also good as it must be difficult to
cater for different levels of clients. No complaints from me!

'Our experience with Glangarnant has been extremely positive over the last year, the staff are diligent, caring & always happy to oblige resulting in a happy, friendly atmosphere for both residents & visitors.
Cleanliness at the home is at the forefront, with communal & individual rooms kept to a high
