His speech and mobility were declining when he was discharged from hospital, but he did not want to go to a nursing home. However, within a short time, he accepted it as his own home. Having viewed quite a few nursing homes Danygraig by far stood out from the first phone call to the viewing, my mum moving in, the management, clinical and auxiliary teams have been exemplary. Everyone has treated mum with respect, dignity care and kindness. Nothing at all has been too much trouble. The facilities are good, activities change daily, and mum has settled in well. I am delighted that she is in such a warm, caring and safe environment.
