I have been very impressed with Cherry Tree from day 1. The staff are excellent and I have total confidence in them. The garden is well maintained and a lovely environment for residents on mums first birthday at CT (this month) she was made to feel very special by all the staff. Lovely!

I find Cherry Tree to be a very good care home. Nicely decorated (just updated too). The staff are excellent, with care giving folk and registered nurses always on hand and helping residents. The rooms are great quality too.

My grandad stayed at this care home for several months, and we couldn't have asked for better care. The staff were consistently kind, patient, and treated him with genuine respect. They made an effort to get to know him as a person, which really helped him settle in. The home was always clean and well-run, and there were regular activities to keep residents engaged. As a family, we felt reassured knowing he was in such safe and caring hands.

I have only good words to say about this care home. The management team are cheerful and helpful despite being busy. The atmosphere is very homely and welcoming. The cleanliness is top notch, hats off to the domestic team for always keeping the environment clean and spotless. The care team has always gone above and beyond to make the residents comfortable. Also the kitchen team does amazing job trying to provide freshly prepared meal every single day. Overall, recommended.

We come every week with the children from Dewstow Primary School. It brings so much joy to the children & residents. We are always made to feel welcome.

I like Cherry Tree, I love it from when I came in. I love staff Pauline and Janice, we been freinds ever since. Domestic team is amazing. Chef is very good - she will cook everything for everybody. Very caring staff. Staff work hard and they feel appreciated. I like appreciation day for staff.

My aunt has been at Cherry Tree Care home for a little over 2 years. She has been carefully looked after during this time by all of the staff with dignity and care. Lots of different pastimes, social gatherings and regard for the staff. Its a very comfortable and safe place for my aunt to be in, in her last days our new manager Agnes is fab and very approachable.

Cherry Tree is a very friendly care home. They provide excellent care, staff are great and knowledgeable. The best care home in the area.

I visit the home each week, I am always made to feel welcome. The team are always available to assist the residents and treat them with respect and compassion. The management team are always available. Lots of activities are going on, the lifestyle team are always introducing new things of interest and relevant to people's abilities.

My mother has been a resident here for only approx 6 weeks, but in that time she has improved in 'leaps and bounds'. The staff here are excellent and in this short time feel like old friends. Every time I visit, at least one member of staff pops in to say 'hello'. The food is excellent. Mom seems very happy here, which is the most important thing.

Mam has been in Danygraig for 6 weeks and we are more than happy with the care and support she is receiving. The staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble.

My partner is living in Danygraig for last two years. Within two years time he improved massively. He can go up and in stairs and staff in here look after him with empathy. Nothing is too much trouble. He always takes the lead in setting up activities and he enjoys every minute.

Since my mum came into Danygraig Nursing Home in April 2025 I have found all staff very helpful, caring and supportive to myself and Mum. She has been treated with dignity and respect and empathy at all times and settled very quickly into her new home. The food has been exceptional, and Mum has enjoyed many activities and celebrations. The overall standard is excellent. Very homely environment.
