If you choose a care home based in Wales, you may be eligible for the Welsh NHS-funded nursing care contribution of at least £201.74 per week. This support is not reflected in the fee amount shown, and the actual contribution may be higher depending on the Local Health Board.
Open visiting is encouraged, and there are no restrictions. There is an aim for protected meal and medication times to ensure as little disruption as possible during these times to the residents. Safety during medication times is paramount for the nurses.
On Site Parking is available for staff and visitors, parking is also available outside the home grounds.

I qualified as a General Nurse in 1992 and initially worked in Kent.
I moved to Wales in 2015 and initially worked in Cardiff within the same group as Leadon Court, initially working as a nurse on the floor, moving on to Clinical Lead supporting the whole home, and then as Clinical Compliance Lead ensuring governance and compliance needs were met through robust auditing and providing training. I then gradually made the move to support Leadon Court in the middle of last year. I took over as Registered Home Manager in April 2025.
I work on transparency and honesty, ensuring I offer support not only to residents and their families but also to staff.
I love a challenge and I love improvement, and I aim to strive for the best for myself and in others.
