My mother has been at Mountains Nursing Home for a number of years. She and all the other clients are always very clean and tidy, the staff are excellent with all patients and very welcoming to visitors alike. I have no concerns with my mother being cared for there. Keep up the good work.

Our auntie has been in the Mountain's Nursing Home for two years now and has been looked after by caring and friendly staff.
She has loved joining in the activities provided and although the last few months she has been nursed in bed, she has still had her photo in the monthly news book, having her nails done, a hand massage and being visited by a friendly dog.

We are not able to visit as often as we would like but have been able to video call her. We are looking forward to the Christmas meal for the residents and their families.

I am very happy with how well my gran is cared for at the Mountains. All of the staff are very caring and do a good job.
It makes me very happy that the home do various activities with the residents as it keeps everyone stimulated!

I would definitely recommend this home if a friend or family member needed the same care as my gran.

My uncle had been in the care of the mountains for many years having been moved over from Treorchy. Sadly, this week he passed. I cannot express how well he was cared for during his stay and would like to express how grateful our family is to all the brilliant staff who cared for my uncle and many others in the same situation. Many thanks.

My mother was extremely fail after another stroke (vascular dementia) The staff, nurses, carers, cooks and cleaners looked after mam with great caring, kindness and love. It was an incredibly special yet poignantly time. To see staff of all kinds, come into my mothers room and kneel by her bed at eye level and tell her how much they cared/loved her and with beautiful "cameo's" of their mutual times with her. They came to her funeral what more can I say? Everyone should have frail family in such professional caring care. I am profoundly moved and so grateful.

We attended a Christmas meal and party on for the residents and families. The day was well organised and ran smoothly. The staff could not have done anything better. They were friendly, helpful and made everyone's experience a fantastic one. The food was like eating in a great restaurant and attention was paid to every detail. The entertainment was thoroughly enjoyable and kept everyone in good spirits. Fantastic place, fantastic staff

When visiting my wife she's sitting in the main lounge with other patients some of whom are making loud repetitive noises continuously,. In this situation any person would find it intolerable after a short time. When I leave I think about her being in this situation for most of the time, and this though upsets me.

I had fears about my brother moving into a care home, but I have to admit my fears were quite unfounded. I cannot fault the Mountains in any way, from the manager to the cleaning staff, they are all first class.

My brother and I had great difficulty getting my dad into a home because of his difficulties and were worried that Brecon would be to far away as I live in Monmouth and my brother lives in Chepstow. However the Mountains home in Libanus has suited his needs his care has been very good, the management and staff have a very difficult job with the residents who have varied and difficult problems. I have turned up unannounced on many occasions and the care staff have been very very good. The Christmas dinner was a brilliant idea the staff went the extra mile dressed up as waiters and waitresses including the managers. In short the team at Libanus have extended my dads life with quality and dignity. Well done.

My dad has been a resident at Mountains Nursing Home since October 2013. It is a well kept care home, always exceptionally clean and my dad has a lovely room with beautiful views. The staff are second to none, very caring and compassionate. They treat the residents with dignity and are so kind to them. They are extremely professional especially when dealing with disruptive and sometimes violent residents. I am grateful that my dad was accepted as a resident at Mountains Nursing Home as I know we could not have found a better care home for him.
