Randolph Hill has 60 beautiful single bedrooms with spacious en-suite shower facilities, arranged over two floors. A lift and a lovely central staircase provide access to the first floor. The freshly decorated bedrooms have telephone and Internet access, a wall mounted TV and a nurse call system for prompt assistance. All of the lounges have wide screen TVs and there are pantry kitchens off every dining room. Staff encourage families to make themselves at home and put the kettle on. The lounges on the ground floor have patio doors leading out to the residents’ garden, where pretty, winding paths give access to the lawn and flowerbeds. Events and activities are hugely enjoyed at Randolph Hill and a dedicated team, full calendar and the availability of their own minibus ensures that the level of participation is high.

An excellent Chef and kitchen team offer nutritionally-balanced, freshly prepared meals. The menu changes on a four-weekly cycle and they try to accommodate different tastes and diets as far as possible. Residents choose where to eat. Some people like the privacy of their own room, whilst others enjoy eating together in the dining room.

I would like to express my appreciation for the excellent quality of care that is given to my mother who has been resident at Randolph Hill, Dunblane for the last nine months. First impressions, the introduction to the home was very friendly. Straight away we knew that this was to be the place for Mum.
Since Mum became a resident, we have found the staff to be very proactive and attentive in relation to her personal needs. Anytime we have had occasion to ask about aspects of her health, staff have always been on the ball and able to show up to date notes relating to her conditions. They have also provided good communication regarding situations with her, when we are not present. The home has a lovely garden area for better weather and also provides various activities and entertainment for the residents. Prior to Mum being resident at Randolph Hill Dunblane, she had respite care within other homes in the area, however, they did not appear to be up to the same standard.

Pauline Wilson

I have been employed by Randolph Hill for 16 years during which time I have progressed from staff nurse, and senior roles, to my current position as manager. With a BSc Nursing qualification, I have also recently completed SVQ 4 in Health & Social Care. I have a fantastic team of registered nurses and skilled care staff who deliver high levels of person-centred care. Together with dedicated ancillary staff, we ensure that our residents are at the core of everything we do, and our aim is to enable our residents to enjoy the later stage of their lives to the full.

Jo Comrie

Job Title: Care Quality Manager Joined: 2017

RGN qualified in 1994, Jo has worked in care homes since 1999 and now holds additional qualifications of a Pg Dip HSc in Advanced Nursing.


Jo returned to Randolph Hill in 2017, as Deputy Manager, after managing a nursing home in New Zealand for 8 years. Jo was promoted to manager in 2019, then Senior Manager in 2021 and is now Care Quality Manager.

Julie Tulloch is our Care Standards Manager. She has been a registered nurse for almost 35 years and is also a registered community nurse and nurse prescriber. For the last 18 years she has worked as a nurse regulator in health and social care, and joined us from her most recent role as an inspector with the Care Inspectorate.


Like everyone at Randolph Hill, Julie’s drive and focus is to make sure that all of the people that we care for receive the best, high quality service that is right for them. Julie firmly believes that people should enjoy living their life to the full in a nursing home and that nursing homes should be at the heart of the community.


Outside of work Julie likes to be active and enjoys walking in our beautiful countryside, gardening and exercising especially dancing related exercise such as Zumba.

Nicole qualified in 2013 as a registered general nurse, since then she has worked in a variety of roles within social staff nurse through to manager, operations and quality roles.
