From the very beginning, the standards at this care home have been truly exceptional.
Moving my mum from her previous care home was incredibly difficult and emotional, and we were understandably anxious about how she would settle. Any fears we had were quickly put to rest.
Since moving here, my mum
has absolutely excelled. The positive change in her wellbeing, confidence, and overall happiness has been remarkable. It's clear she is not only well cared for, but genuinely supported, encouraged, and treated with dignity and kindness every single day.
The staff have been nothing short of amazing. Their compassion, patience, and professionalism shine through in everything they do. They took the time to really get to know my mum, making the transition as smooth and reassuring as possible for both her and our family.
We are incredibly grateful for the care, dedication, and high standards shown by the entire team.
Reply from Julie Kennedy, Marketing Manager at Kirk Lane HomeThank you very much for your very kind words and review. It must have been such a difficult time moving your mum and therefore we are delighted that she settled so well with us and there is such a positive change, and that you are so happy with the care and environment. The team will be so pleased to hear this feedback. With best wishes.

Mum is absolutely thriving here at Kirk Lane and has been a resident for just over 4 and a half years. She really enjoys all the various activities - especially getting out on the bus, and all the singers etc. who come to perform. All the staff are so helpful and professional, and the new role of hospitality
liaison is working really well, providing another point of contact between the staff and the residents. The kitchen staff make excellent food with a huge variety and the maintenance team are really handy too.
Reply from Julie Kennedy, Marketing Manager at Kirk Lane HomeThank you for your very kind words. I have no hesitation in recommending Ashley Court as an excellent nursing home. Our lovely wee mum and dad moved there in early 2020. Since then we have been constantly impressed by the extraordinary care that our parents have received. The staff are amazing. Constantly kind, caring, hard working,
committed, compassionate, highly motivated, professional and so warm and welcoming. They are the gems in the crown of Ashley Court. They make real the culture of care that Carol, Fiona and Lorna work so hard to ensure. Our lovely wee mum recently passed from this life to the next. Her last days were made so very special by the whole team who not only provided the perfect care for mum but also amazing support to us. Mum loved them so much and we all saw how deeply they loved her. We know they will continue to care for our lovely wee Dad with the same dignity, thoughtfulness, respect and love. And we know that we will always feel at home in Ashley Court.
Reply from Brodie Nichol, Director at Ashley CourtThank you so much for your heartfelt words. We are truly honoured to have cared for your lovely mum and to continue supporting your dad. Your kind message means a great deal to the whole team. Best wishes.

Dad has been a resident for the last 18 months. He is well cared for and safe. With someone with dementia this is important for us as a family to know this. With his declining cognitive skills the staff are very caring and patient with him even though dad can be extremely challenging. The staff are
always welcoming with a smile and greeting. The menus are varied and they will accommodate residents where possible if that meal on offer is not to their liking. The activities are based around residents preferences so might not suit everyone and they have a minibus to take residents on outings. These are offered frequently. Patient reviews take place and should anything occur they are in contact with the family.
Reply from Julie Kennedy, Marketing Manager at MuirfieldThank you very much for your review and your high overall score. Our team will be delighted. My father has vascular dementia and has been a resident in Muirfield Nursing home for four years now. The staff have always taken good care of him and are so kind and friendly. When he was recently a bit off colour, the staff took great care to keep the family informed about his health, and what progress
he was making. They are always supportive of the family bond and are very approachable. Dad is now back to his normal self and doing well.

All members of staff, from the front desk, to the

My Wife's father John, a dementia sufferer, has been resident at Randolph Hill Dunblane since October 2024. Right from day one John settled in well and so my wife and I were able to relax properly for the first time in years. John is very happy in his "New Home," he enjoys the comings and goings all
around him, also the busy activity programme they run. Round every corner is a smiling helpful member of staff ready to engage with him, what more could a man ask!

My mother somewhat reluctantly agreed to go into Muirfield for a period of respite care while my sister was abroad.
In advance of my mother going into Muirfield I was invited to a tour of the premises and facilities available. I was impressed with what was on offer and also with the general atmosphere
and ambience I witnessed.
Within a couple of weeks my mother was asking if her stay could be made permanent. She is very complimentary about the staff, and is particularly enthusiastic about how helpful they are.
She appears a more contented individual since moving into Muirfield, happy with the meals provided, as well as the varied programme of events, and opportunities for interaction with other residents.
Both my sister and I are delighted to have made the arrangement permanent.

Mum has moved into Kirklane due to having Alzheimer's. From the moment myself and our family brought her in it felt like home. It's not a nursing home it's her home. It feels like home and has beautiful, comforting decor which also resembles her own home. On arrival she had flowers in her room and was
greeting with warmth and kindness. Nothing was too much trouble.
Mum is still settling well in Kirklane, the staff have been kind, patient and kept her busy with lots of activities. She has smiled, laughed, she looks better than she has done in ages.
We can go in and make tea, sit with her and it feels like our home too.
I wouldn't want her to be anywhere else. This home has a huge heart. Staff are outstanding, always having fun with the residents.

Kirk Lane staff and facilities first class. Mum really didn't want to be in a care home but her physical condition meant we had no choice. The staff are really lovely and very caring which has made the situation so much easier for all the family. The accommodation is beautiful from the moment you
enter the building to the lounge and dining room and especially Mum's en-suite bedroom. The carers treat Mum like their own granny and the activities staff do their best to keep her pleasantly occupied - she particularly enjoys the bus outings. The maintenance men are always on hand to get her telly going or hang a photo on the wall . The cleaners and laundry staff are lovely and friendly and keep everything spotless. It is very expensive for Mum to be here but for Mum's excellent care and the family's peace of mind , it's worth every penny .Thank you everyone at Kirk Lane .
