Our family just had care review meeting with Penny (staff nurse) which went well and she answered questions we had about Mum's care. The food is good and varied. The entertainment team do a good job of keeping residents occupied. Mum enjoys bus drives. sing-a-longs, fitness, church service. December is always a busy month for entertainment and I understand this December there will be an activity daily.

My husband Robert has been resident at Randolph Hill for just over two years. During this time he has been extremely well cared for by staff. He has been kept comfortable and stimulated, where possible, by a varied activities programme. His health needs are well monitored. Staff is kind, considerate + thoughtful. Me and my/our families are pleased that Robert is so well cared for

My mum has been in home from 9th September 2026 the staff are lovely the manager is lovely they will help you with anything can't do enough for my mum d always make you welcome when you go to visit so helpful

We are so happy we chose Ashley Court for Mum, who has been a resident for nearly five years. Following multiple strokes, Mum is physically incapacitated and also has dementia. She cannot reposition herself, so staff turn and reposition her with great care, ensuring her comfort, dignity and safety. Her personal care is excellent. Staff are attentive to her hygiene and wellbeing, treating her with kindness, patience and respect. What means so much to us is that Mum is still treated as an individual and included as part of the Ashley Court community. Despite her physical limitations, she is invited and encouraged to take part in activities and events, with staff making every effort to involve her. The home is clean and well maintained. Reception staff are warm and welcoming, and the wider team are caring and approachable. We know we made the right choice. We are incredibly grateful to all the staff for the care, kindness and dignity they give Mum every day .

I'm so pleased with the care my mother-in-law is receiving, the staff are so good with her, everyone acknowledges her and us when we visit. She has "banter" with a few of them which is lovely to see. Any small problem is reported to me and we agree a solution appropriate to her. The home is so inviting from the minute you step into reception. Carole & Lorna are visible which makes a nice impression, very approachable

Review of Garden Party

Thanks so much for a great day. It was a joy watching all residence and family enjoying themselves. The band was very lively and entertaining along with a great set up from Buster and his staff, providing tasty treats. There must have been a lot of work put in by the staff at Blenham to provide for such a lovely day. Much appreciated. Thanks again

Activity team - very special individuals who look after the residents welfare & fitness with an excellent programme on a weekly basis.

The management and staff held an afternoon in the garden, for the residents and their families, during the Festival month, called Care in the Fringe, which is sponsored by several companies. The planning and precision that went into the whole afternoon was like a military operation with all hands on deck, to get around 60 residents in the garden, by several means, I watched in awe as they pulled this off and gave everyone such a lovely afternoon with refreshments and a bbq, followed by a Latin American duo playing music and singing songs. The residents and their families looked like they all enjoyed it and I know my mum did. The care shown to all involved is so evident when you see the staff mingling and dealing with situations. Thanks so much for all your efforts. A great team you have!! My mum has settled in well since March and delighted I had known about Blenham before I ever knew i would be needing them.

My Mum has been a resident at Ashley Court care home since December 2025 and I have been really impressed with how well my Mum's health and wellbeing has improved. When she arrived she was hardly eating and her mood was really low. She could not walk after suffering a fall at her home and did not want to leave her bed. Within a few months, her appetite improved and her mood was lifted, due to the patience and dedication of the staff and the right medication for her. Initially, my Mum was scared of using the hoist to leave her bed, but the staff kept working with her until she overcame her fear. Since then, she regularly attends activities in the lounge and has lunch with the other residents. My Mum is thriving now and back to a healthy weight. She is enjoying her daily routine and it is heartwarming to see the positive change in her. Every member of staff greet me and there is a friendly atmosphere there. There is a great activity programme with much variety of activities.

Ashley Court continues to offer excellent care to mum who is 95 years young. The attitude of virtually all the staff we engage is positive, welcoming,friendly, professional and respectful. From the minute we arrive at the front reception we are greeted as friends by the staff we know and it is lovely to see smiling faces despite the increasing need and care requirements staff have to manage. We're impressed by the experienced staff we meet who demonstrate a very good understanding of mums care needs be it explaining her changing eating habits, her reducing capacity to verbally engage and even finding her hand comforter!!!! Off great reassurance is efforts to engage mum and a particular recent highlight was the activities team managed to take mum on an outing. This is no mean feat given her significant care needs and was last achieved 12+ month's ago. This has meant a lot to us.

I would highly recommend Ashley Court. The care given is excellent, nothing any trouble, everyone is very helpful, polite, and friendly. The accommodation is lovely and clean, with nice furnishings. They have an excellent activities programme activities staff are wonderful, always looking for new ideas to entertain the residents. The food is really nice. Everyone in the home does a wonderful job.

This is a good quality home with good quality care. The Manager, Carol, responds quickly to any small issue or concern very quickly and is not defensive. She always wants what is best for the resident and to meet family expectations (can't be an easy job!). I especially appreciated the Wheelchair Access vehicle and bus trips which kept my relative out and about for longer. I would have liked there to have been a better WiFi signal in rooms so my relative could have kept in touch with long distance family and friends via FaceTime. This wasn't possible due to poor signal.

Mum's settled in well. Enjoying the activities, eating much better, and we can relax knowing she's so well looked after. The food is on a 2-week rota, and there's a choice each day. Her room is spotless, but she's usually found in the lounge each day or away at the activities. Loves the exercise to music classes, film afternoon, dominoes etc

My sister and I are so grateful that we have chosen Blenham for our dear dad and despite ongoing health issues he has been welcomed with open arms to see Blenham as his new home.

The standard of care is exceptional, the care home richly deserves all the awards they receive. My mother has been a resident for over a year. The staff understand her and keep her involved in all the activities that are relevant.

Neither myself or my aunt have any complaints.
