The team are wonderful and whilst we wish to highlight a few team members, this is in no way reflective of a lack of compassion from anyone else, we would like to give special thanks to a few of the team who provide age appropriate banter on a daily basis, lifting my sisters spirits which is heartwarming for both family and friends to see. One of the team frequently goes over and above, both in support of my sister and the families needs Recommend
Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback. We're so pleased to hear that you felt confident in your choice from the very beginning and that your sister has been well supported since moving in. It's lovely to know she is encouraged and engaged in the activities, and that the team bring such warmth and positivity to her day. Your kind words are truly appreciated by everyone. Best wishes.
We are sure that if our mother was able to articulate this she would. We cannot fault the care that is provided and we know that we have made the correct decision in choosing this care home.
Thank you to all the wonderful staff.
Thank you so much for your praise for our management and staff. We are so pleased to hear that you feel that your mother is being so well looked after, and that the environment and communication provided meets your requirements. With our best wishes.
It is a warm and welcoming home. I have every confidence in their care for my mum.
Thank you to everyone there.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. It is always good for us to hear that you feel the staff are so caring, and that this is giving you such peace of mind. With our best wishes.
Our mother has been a resident of Holmesview for 14 months and we are very happy with the care she receives. The care team and nursing staff take the time to get to know everyone in their care in a very personalised approach. I get regular updates regarding mum's care and health and staff always take the time to listen and help if I have any queries or concerns. There is a wide range of activities and entertainment so there is always something happening should she want to take part. The rooms and communal areas are decorated to a high standard and are always immaculately clean. My mother speaks very highly of the meals and there is always a few different dishes to choose from. Holmesview has a warm and friendly atmosphere from the minute you walk in the front door and I would highly recommend!
Thank you very much for your feedback. It is so pleasing to hear that you and your mother are so happy with the care, the communication, the environment, and the meals. We are delighted too that your mother is offered a range of activities to take part in, if she would like. With best wishes.
Our relative has settled in well and has excellent care, both medical and personal and we feel the staff take time to get to know the residents, enjoying trips out in the minibus and into the garden .As we live a considerable distance away it is good to know that she is safe, warm and well looked after.
Thank you very much for leaving your review. We are delighted that you are so pleased with the care, comfort and welcome. It is so lovely to hear too that your relative especially enjoys our minibus trips, and garden. Best wishes.
My mum moved in to Holmesview in June 2023, with advanced dementia and high nursing care needs. As a family we have nothing but praise and appreciation for the level of care which has been provided. Mum can't express her wishes but staff respond to her with kindness and compassion and have been able to get to know her at some meaningful level. This is a sad time for us as a family but we are always made welcome, and staff are responsive to any issues or questions which we raise in relation to mum's needs. We have peace of mind that mum is well cared for, clean and safe. Thank you.
Thank you for your feedback and praise. We understand how difficult this time is for you and your family but it is good to know you feel your mum is well cared for and you can have peace of mind. Best wishes from the team.
My sister who is 91 speaks highly of the support she gets round the clock especially as she has both hearing and visual disabilities.
It is so lovely to hear that you are impressed with our staff and the home, and that your sister speaks highly too of the care she receives. Best wishes from the team.
This is an excellent care facility where the staff treat all the residents and relatives individually and with respect. The rooms and communal areas are spotless and homely. The staff encourage residents to participate in a wide range of activities both indoors and by going out on excursions. I know that my relative is happy and well cared for.
Thank you very much for your feedback. We are delighted to hear that you find the home spotless and homely, and that you know your relative is so well cared for. Best wishes.
Holmesview is well maintained. Family and friends are always made welcome. If there is a matter to discuss or inform me about, the staff contact me quickly.
It is so good to hear how well you feel your aunt is being cared for with us. Thank you for letting us know, and for your feedback regarding our welcome and communication. Best wishes.
Amazing care home. We couldn't be happier with the care Mum is receiving. The staff are really friendly and caring towards not just our mum but her visitors too. Always lots of things going on and they make such an effort for all the residents at Christmas adding personal thoughtful gifts. We cannot praise them enough.
Thank you very much for your feedback. It is so lovely to hear that you are so pleased with the care for your mum, and that you are full of praise for our team.
My mum has been resident in Holmesview Broxburn since May 2024, the care she is receiving is second to none, she is well looked after 24/7, Holmesview is extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. There are always activities that she can join in which includes runs out in the minibus, colouring in pictures dominoes, getting her hair and nails done which she loves, activities seem to vary from resident to resident. A warm welcome is always awaiting from every staff member when I go to visit my mum.
It is wonderful to hear your feedback regarding the care for your mum and especially the activities that she enjoys. The team will be so pleased.
My mum took up residency a week ago in Holmesview. She has settled really well thanks to the dedication and care of the staff. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food menu is varied. The rooms are a high standard with a homely feel. My mum is comfortable and in safe hands.
It is good to hear that your mum is comfortable and settling well. Thank you very much for letting us know - the team will be so pleased.
Staff are very professional in approach. All grades of staff are friendly and interact with us as a family. My family member is treated with respect and dignity. Her individuality is catered for at all times. There is always something going on at the home, staff go the extra mile with these activities and also outings. I have had a lot of experience with care homes and this one definitely surpasses my previous experiences.
It is so good to hear your feedback, especially given your experience. We are delighted to hear that your family member is well cared for, and enjoys the activities and outings.
Our Dad is so very happy at Holmesview. He feels safe, respected and very well cared for. When we walk through the home all staff stop to talk to him calling him by his first name - this is any member of staff including kitchen, domestic etc staff and they are all so very friendly towards him. Management are very welcoming and approachable and reception staff interact great with both residents and family members. The entertainment staff go above and beyond to make sure all residents are included and have a very varied programme to suit the needs of all residents. We have recommended Holmesview to friends who have been looking for care homes for their parents.
It is lovely to hear that your Dad is so happy and feels so well cared for, and that you feel staff and management are welcoming, building relationships with residents and families. Our activities team will also be pleased to hear your wonderful feedback regarding their programme for residents. Thank you.
My stepmum has been a resident of this care home for nearly two years and I can honestly say we could not have a better place for her to stay. All the staff are friendly and caring and we have never had any issues. Our main priority is the well-being of my stepmum and we can relax totally knowing she is cared for and well looked after.
Thank you for your feedback regarding the care for your stepmum. We are so pleased to hear that you can feel relaxed and have peace of mind. Best wishes.
My mum is always treated with respect and dignity. She has a good relationship with all the staff. Her views are always listened to and acted upon where appropriate. The home itself is always spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly and approachable, always ready with a smile and a kind word.
Thank you for providing feedback. It is so good to hear that you feel your mum has a good relationship with our staff, and her views are always listened to. Best wishes.
When looking for a care home for Mum we felt Holmesview had a very nice energy and had modern, well-maintained facilities but it's hard to tell on first review how things will really be. Now into our third year, we are delighted with the standard of care which exceeds expectations. Staffing is very stable so Mum now knows everyone looking after her, they are all incredible and we could not be more grateful. It's not just where Mum lives, it really is her home. Thank you.
Thank you very much for providing feedback. We are so pleased that you are delighted and your mum feels so at home.
A warm and friendly team who are person-centred and always attentive.
My relative is treated with kindness and their dignity is assured.
This brings great peace of mind.
Thank you.
Thank you very much for your review. It is so good to hear that you are so pleased with the staff and the care, and this brings you such peace of mind.
Once my father was out of hospital he managed to visit himself, the staff were kind and very interested in my mum and dad's life story, which they both loved to talk about. Dad was treated almost like a resistant would often have his dinner with them, much to Dad’s delight.
If anyone has a loved one that needs looking after, this is a first-class Care Home.
Thank you so much for your review. We very much appreciate you taking the time to do this and are delighted too that you were so pleased with the respite care that your mum received. Best wishes to your mum and dad.
My mother has been a resident of Holmesview since October 2015. At the point, my Mum went into care, she was extremely ill, and I honestly feared the worse; the fact that I am writing this almost 7-years later is a testament to the care she has received during that time and continues to receive. The staff are exceptional (and I mean everyone) I often marvel at their caring, positive attitudes, always smiling and full of fun, and this gives Holmesview a really positive, happy vibe. Mum's care/nursing needs are varied and complex, and they are sadly exacerbated as she gets older, but I continue to have great confidence in the support and care that she receives within Holmesview, as well as knowing that she is happy and still has the best quality of life despite her health issues. I have great peace of mind around Mum's care, of course, I still worry about her, but this allows me to lead my life and still enjoy my time with Mum. Highly recommend Holmesview.
Thank you very much for leaving your feedback which we will be so pleased to share with the team at Holmesview. It is so good to hear of your confidence in the care and support that your mother receives and that she maintains as good a quality of life as she can.
