My husband and I do not visit Annan Court very often, due to our own circumstances, and we usually go unannounced. We feel confident that our relative is very well cared for. The staff are friendly and courteous and overall we have no concerns.

My wife received efficient and supportive care during her stay in Annan Court. During my daily visits, I found the staff friendly and attentive in every respect. I can pay them no better compliment than to say that should I ever need residential care, I would hope that my carers would give me a similar level of attention to that which my wife received in Annan Court.

I found that the staff at all levels were approachable and willingly took on board any concerns and anxieties that inevitably arise when a loved one is in need of total care.

My father has recently spent 4 months as a temporary resident of Annan Care Home whilst waiting for repairs to his house following a fire.
At 90 years of age, he is more likely to complain about things than give praise for anything but that is exactly what he has constantly done throughout his stay in Annan.
He was extremely well looked after and when I picked him up on his last day I asked him if he was happy to be going home and he replied " yes and no ".

When I asked why " no ", he replied that he would be sorry to be leaving the carers because they had all been so nice to him.

I saw this for myself on my numerous visits to the home and they kept me fully informed throughout the time my Dad was there. I have nothing but praise for the staff and the quality of the home itself and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Thank you for making his stay so comfortable.

My mother has been in Annan Court for four months. The care staff have tried very hard to get to know her and her family. They ask for her opinion and treat her with dignity and respect. They are genuinely interested in her comfort and well-being.
The care home is friendly and welcoming and communication with family has been excellent.

I am delighted with the care she has received.

Annan Court provides a lovely home for my dad. It has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are really friendly, helpful, and caring.
Dad's room is a good size, and he has been able to make it "home" with his own pictures, photographs, and favourite chair.
Food is plentiful, and there is a variety of options; we certainly enjoyed the "Vintage Afternoon Tea" (to which family and friends were invited).

I am very grateful to the staff for all the wonderful care they are giving to my dad.

Nice friendly atmosphere, staff welcoming, calming environment. Nice to see relaxed people in a social environment. Felt uneasy at first as you don't know what it's going to be like visiting an elderly peoples home. I was soon put at ease.

I have spent quite a large amount of time at Annancourt and have absolutely loved my experience. All of the staff are extremely forthcoming and the residents are well looked after and are a pleasure to volunteer with. Since I first started going to Annancourt in the summer of 2015 I have worked with two fantastic people filling the role of occupational therapists. They both did/do a fantastic job in keeping the residents stimulated both physically and mentally. As someone who has personal experience of the flaws of this kind of stimulation not being provided, through my grandmother, I would highly recommend Annancourt to anyone who is considering it. All of the carers are extremely well trained especially with the introduction of the new occupational therapist who is over trained for the role and so is able to develop the caring in the entire nursing home and does so through running courses with the staff.

Another large part of Annancourt is a pub, the shop and the nature areas. These provide the residents with a feeling of a community or village rather than a care home. Also it helps to enable the residents to make decisions about where and how they would like to spend their time.

In short Annancourt is a fantastic care home that should be in the forefront of the mind of anybody looking for a care home.

The staff are caring and work hard to provide a good level of care in safe surroundings.
The food is home made and each resident is given a choice from daily menus.
The bedrooms are pretty spacious, providing a toilet and wash-hand basin, however it would be more preferable for a bath or shower to be provided in each room, as the bath/shower facilities are communal.

The activities provided are varied and all residents are encouraged to participate.

Annan court is a very caring environment and like a home. Individual rooms with toilet/washing facilities. The rooms are well furnished and tastefully decorated and enhanced by own belongings. Dining room is very pleasant and the food excellently cooked and presented.

The staff are supportive and friendly and have a wonderful caring attitude towards all residents. Family are made to feel part of the family. There are also plenty of activities for the residents to take part in. I would recommend this home. They looked after my father and I had every confidence with the services they provided. Thank you all for your love and care.

My brother-in-law has been in home that were not up to standard and it was pure joy to my wife and I to be made aware aware of Annan Court.

This is an excellent care home which we are delighted with and we are able to sleep sound at night in the knowledge that he is in their hands.

A purpose built care home designed with the residents needs at the foremost. Very helpful staff who treat their residents with respect and who understand the residents needs through excellent training and management.
My fathers room is a very decent size and was clean and adaptable when I took my father in for his stay at Annan Court. The heating could be set by myself and my fathers room quickly warmed to a comfortable temperature for his needs. The en-suite was lovely and large and easily let my father move around inside with his walking aid.
There is a sensibly sized button which my father was shown how to press to call for a carer when he needed some help. Carers arrive within a reasonable time and are only too pleased to help no matter how small the task.
There are 4 or 5 internal communal areas and they are varied in their themes. My father thought the music room was fabulous and looked forward to having a tinkle on the piano.
There always seems to be something entertaining happening in the care home, and it's wonderful to see the residents being encouraged to participate in the activities.

This is a lovely place and I feel the management and staff take pride in giving their residents the best possible care that they can provide.

When we went to review the home in March 2015 I was extremely anxious. I just wanted to care for my Mum myself. As soon as I entered the building I relaxed. The manager was so nice and reassuring to us. We were taken on a tour of the home. Very impressed! Staff were lovely, rooms were welcoming. Nearly a year on and I am so grateful my Mum has a room there. We call it her home now. Staff are wonderful. They support us as much as they do my Mum. Food is excellent. Cleanliness is excellent. But the attention Mum receives is 1st class. Entertainment is not confined to residents, families are more than welcome. Home is definitely family orientated. Mum is comfortable, well fed and listened to. Reassuring well run care home. ALL STAFF ARE BRILLIANT! !!!!!

Nice clean home with fantastic staff. Always entertainment on for residents. Staff helpful and approachable, happy to know my relative is well looked after and safe when we are not there, gives the family reassurance. Communication is outstanding between staff and ourselves. Nothing to much trouble for the staff here. They all work exceptionally hard and are a brilliant team. Food is fantastic, fresh and the baking is lovely. My gran raves about the cooked breakfast she has everyday and the homemade cakes. Hard working home day and night.

As soon as we walked into this home we knew it was the one. The manager answered all our questions and worries we had. Which really put my mind to rest. The home has fantastic views, large clean rooms and the bonus of not only a shop, a hairdressers but also a pub for residents to enjoy. My gran has her own personal touches in her bedroom which has helped to settle her in, it feels homely. What really makes this home stand out is the staff. They are a credit to the place, every single member of staff we see on a daily basis is friendly, polite and helpful. The amount they do for the residents is outstanding there is always some activity or entertainment on. Nobody walks past without speaking, it makes the place so warm and inviting especially when you are first new here. My gran could not speak more highly of them and neither could I. Nothing is ever a problem or issue. I love the fact we can go for a cuppa or to have dinner with my gran when we like. The encouragement and care my gran receives is fantastic and I could not thank the staff enough.

As soon as you enter Annan Court you feel the lovely atmosphere of the place. The facility is always spotless, fresh and welcoming. The bedrooms are a super size and many have stunning views. The large communal room is welcoming and the space is well used. Love the " little pub " and the sweetie shop and other little personal touches around the home. All the staff are a credit to the home. They are friendly, efficient, caring and nothing is too much bother for them and they so obviously care for their service users and not just because it's their job but because they really do care! The catering is also first class with a lovely variety on offer and all good "home cooked" food. Overall a fab facility we are lucky to have in Annan . Not so much a care home but in the words of the great grandchildren "Granny's House".

This is my first dealing with any care home. My wife and myself visit most days or sometimes nights and find all the staff we come into contact with most pleasant, helpful and mostly caring. My brother is very content and due to his care being provided we can relax knowing he is warm and comfortable in Annan Court. His needs are well provided and as he had lots of health problems we are pleased with the care he gets.

My grandpa has been staying at Annan Court for the last year and my family and me couldn't be happier with the care he he gets there. He has such a laugh and giggle with all the people who work there and they take such good care of him. My family often pop in to join him having a bar meal at the pub there and are always made to feel welcome. There is always plenty of activities there, whether it be baking groups or music and dancing which he loves to join in with. The home has a lovely feel to it and is nicely decorated and is always kept very clean and tidy. My grandpa has really come out of his shell and has put my family's mind at rest knowing he is safe and happy and gets the best care we could wish for.
