The decision for my mum to go into full-time care was heartbreaking but on entering the care home I knew she would be happy living here. All her personal care needs are carried out with dignity, she is happy and has put on weight. She doesn't like when staff leave but soon calms down when another friendly
face appears. She doesn't always like food on the menu but they will always make an alternative. Mum loves the activities but also likes to sit in her room watching TV. Mum's medical needs are met at a high standard and I'm always informed either by phone or email. Overall, we are both very happy.

Louise Brookhouse

Job Title: Service Manager Joined: 2023

Louise Brookhouse has recently become manager at Camilla House. She has been in this position since end of August 2023, although she has worked at Camilla for over 7 years, first as a Care Assistant and then moving on to being a Senior Carer, and lastly her current position right now as Service Manager.
She has a SVQ 3, PDA in leadership and recently completed her ILM in leadership and management. Louise is also just about to start her SVQ 4. The one thing Louise likes most about the job is working alongside her amazing team, the residents and residents’ families to be able to provide a high level of care to our residents.
