From the moment I was shown around Almond Court by the manager, I was struck by the welcoming atmosphere of the place. Every staff membre from doemstic, handyfolk, carers, activity lady & nurses were friendly and chatty. My mum has only been a resident for a week but I am so impressed by the attention
and level of care she receives! Its like being part of a family. Such a relief to know my mum is in good hands now I can no longer care for her myself. Big thanks to all staff!

Three Towns Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mother of 99 years has been a resident in Three Towns for the past 9 months. The reduction in her faculties has continued over that time increasing her care needs. All staff have responded to her increased needs in a very positive way which has greatly contributed to my mother's welfare. The facilities
including cleanliness at Three Towns mirrors the staff's professional and positive attitude and my mother could not wish for better. My mother being so well looked after has greatly reduced the families concerns and distress at this difficult tie at the end of our mother's life we could not wish for better. The staff's pro-active approach to communication to us of how my mother is faring has been very helpful to our piece of mind.
Reply from Clare Cogan Turner, Communications at Three Towns Care Home

Thank you so much for your thoughtful words which will be shared with the Three Towns Team. We're truly honoured to be entrusted with your mother's care, and it's heartening to hear that our team's support and communication have helped ease your family's worries. The manager and staff have provided excellent care in meeting not only the needs but mental well-being of the resident. The attention to detail and knowing the resident has benefitted him in many ways. To allow the resident to feel as though he is at home in a care setting helps with comfort and reassurance,
while listening to the resident and him being valued. To visitors all staff have been brilliant.

My mum was only in Larkfield for five days before passing away. I was by her side for most of this time i was also cared for by the management and staff. I can honestly say that Larkfied view made my mums last days so very comfortable and peaceful. She was attended to with diligence and care befitting
of anybody's mum. The experience of the nurse knowing when my mum's time nad come impressed me greatly. She knew that i should call family members so that we could all be with her at the end after she passed she continued to get expert care and attention.

Having not one but two parents in the need of care I have found Larkfield View to be the most welcoming and caring residential center I have dealt with. The staff from top down are engaging and friendly. The care home puts the residents needs front and centre. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
The care home puts entertainment on for residents and organises days out for the residents benefit. All in all a very well run care home that prioritises the needs of its residents.

Visit niece. Overall feeling their homes is well managed. Though we didn't have food, the meals served to our niece looked tasty and well presented in the servings.
I follow on social media page - posted activities are amazing. Good planning by the activity staff, thanks for the caring staff. Our
niece is in a safe place.

The staff are always approachable, friendly and helpful. I see that they are hardworking, show a caring and compassionate attitude for my mother.
The staff deserve an increase in their salary for the endless help they give my mother and for the other residents and their families.
When my mother was
able, she always looked forward to our resident entertainer who comes on a regular basis. She liked to sing with the microphone.
A very good experience of a care home which shows love for others.

Fernlea Care Home is a truly wonderful place, and I could not recommend it highly enough. From the moment you arrive, the home feels welcoming, clean, and inviting. The environment is always well cared for and thoughtfully maintained, which creates a calm and comfortable atmosphere for residents and
us as a family. What makes Fernlea so special, however, is the people who work there. The staff show genuine care, compassion, and patience every single day. They take the time to really know each resident as an individual and treat everyone with dignity and respect. My dad received the kindest attention during his time there, and it was so clear how much he valued the relationships he built, particularly with certain members of the team who went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and cared for. As a family, we always felt reassured knowing he was in such good hands. The support and kindness shown to us was also deeply appreciated. We highly recommend Fernlea.

My Aunt has settled very well into Almond View and I put this down to the friendly and approachable staff. There seems to be a calmness in the home that shows in the residents. A lot of thought and effort has been, and continues to be put into activities and my aunt for one, enjoys and looks forward
to them.
There is a lot of recreational areas allowing the residents to have a choice at all times on where to sit and relax or take part in activities.
Pleasant place to visit and from what I can see, a pleasant place to live.

My mum moved into the care home in May 2025. On arriving at the home my mum was little anxious, the staff made her feel welcome and she was more relaxed.
I can't thank the home Manager and the staff enough they have made us the family feel very welcome nothing is to much bother and the staff go that
extra mile.
My mum has made friends with the staff and other residents, this give and my family a peace of mind know she is well looked after. She alway looks clean and well cared for. She has been putting on weight and staff offer alternative choice if she doesn't like what is on the menu. I can't thank the staff at Almond view enough for all their support in helping my mum settle in.

I have nothing but praise for this home. Although I can't compare it with any other home, I find the staff very professional, kind and understanding to patients, families and visitors alike.
I find that nothing is any trouble to the staff. All are very professional, kind and understanding and accommodating
when asked for information or help observation. It is great to relax and sleep at night knowing my wife is being cared for by professional carers.

I have been contacting and visiting our daughter for the past 6/7 years who needed 24/7 care. The staff were excellent in caring for her & communicating wth us. Our daughter and ourselves were very happy to be given the chance to get a placement here. As you enter the care home you get a joyous feeling.
It's such a happy place. The patients are all treated with great dignity. We received tremendous help at the end of our daughters life, and in fact all through her stay. The staff became like our extended family. We could relax and trust them knowing how they were looking & loving & caring for her, our lovely daughter, whom was 44 years old when she passed away at the care home, after receiving a severe brain injury. Thank you to all the staff for the hugs and love.
