My mum has made friends with the staff and other residents, this give and my family a peace of mind know she is well looked after. She alway looks clean and well cared for. She has been putting on weight and staff offer alternative choice if she doesn't like what is on the menu. She was relaxed and interacting with staff and other residents. Staff have always been approachable and give advice and appropriate information. The care home is very well maintained and provides a wide choice of activities. From my family members experience I would recommend the care home to other families.

Excellent home my mum went in October 24 at beginning I was unsure about home but the care and attention my mum got from domestic staff careers and nurses was amazing and when my mum was at end of life they all staff went above and beyond nurses were all angels in disguise xx thank you all so much

My mum was transferred to Almond View Care home where she was made to feel welcome after 12 weeks of care in the hospital where she was severely deprived of stimulation resulting in weight loss. Within three weeks of the transfer, she was gaining weight, interacting with staff, other residents, and...
I also could not have been treated better for that final week, with 24-hour access and genuine kindness being shown by the staff. From the home manager to the cleaners, everyone cared, and that is what makes a great residential nursing home.

This will not be the smartest home in the area but I don't believe you'd find one with more caring staff.

I think the standard of the home has gone down in the last year. Not enough staff to care for residents, a lot of agency staff, especially at night. He is a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a particular passion for dementia care and holds Dementia Champion training. Throughout his career, he has been committed to promoting person-centred care that respects each individual’s preferences, choices and independence.
He is especially proud of the compassionate approach shown by the team at Almond View, and the pride staff take in both their work and the home itself. Peter believes that creating a positive environment for residents starts with a dedicated team that genuinely cares about the people they support.
