In my experience, this level of care and compassion is extended to the friends and family of the residents .

After a fall at home & stay in hospital Drs said it would be much safer if Aunt went into full time care. Since coming to Bankview she has been well looked after, enjoyed the company & staff have been excellent & re-assured her as she is 94. I have peace of mind knowing that she is safe, being well fed & having lovely surroundings - it just feels very homely & my aunt has all that she requires. Thank you

My Dad (Sam) has been attending Bankview Day Care Centre three times a week for the last 6 months. Dad really enjoys his time there. He loves his dinner and meeting staff and others who attend the Day Cate Centre. Lovely caring staff.

My sister & I know Bankview provides excellent care, in fact we are trying to have our dad discharged from hospital to Bankview to be beside our mum.

Mum is safe and supported in Bankview. She has her own room which weve fitted with furniture and photos from her house. Mum receives her medication and lovely food, I dont think she remembered to take her tablets or cook meals at home. The Bankview staff seem to always be engaged with and supportive of mum and the other residents. Mum loves the Bankview social activities: she might not recognise us but remembers how much she enjoys dancing.

Dad loves day care. He loves the company, the activites. The place is beautiful and very homely. All staff are lovely. Dad would go 7 days a week if he could. He always has a smile on his face when it's a daycare day. Would recommend this facility to anyone.

My mum loves it so much that we have increased the number of days she goes per week.

Bankview House at Bankview Care Home has been a very positive experience in residential living for my mother, the facility is attractive and well maintained. Her room is spacious and has a lovely view. Staff are friendly, attentive and professional. Guests are welcomed and staff always know where my mother is - either at the lounge or in her room. This is reassuring. The family is kept updated on anything relevant, the administrator does an excellent job, also, and is extremely helpful.

Always made feel welcomed, staff are friendly and very helpful, meals are great as can see what he's having on that day with menu on table. Manager is great speaks away and makes sure we are happy with the care my dad is getting as this is my dad's 2nd care home as had bad experience with first one, also any complaints are dealt with promptly

My husband is a day care visitor to Bankview on a Saturday & Monday. I visited Bankview before applying for care and was impressed by the standard of the premises. He is collected by minibus approx 9.30am & returned home at 3.3.pm approx. I cannot praise enough of the care taken by the staff in helping my husband, as his mobility is not good. He is very happy in attending on a daily basis. I would however appreciate a monthly report on his behaviour when there because he is unable to report himself.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the home itself is always very clean and fresh smelling.

So, all in all, we are hugely pleased with Bankview.

Staff keep me well informed of changes staff are very good with mum treating her with care + respect. Room kept very tidy & clean. Food seems to be good as mum eats most things. Mums clothes clean + tidy. Activities - day trips etc planned + checked with me as long as mums well. Variety of activities for all. Overall care is excellent, all staff do a brilliant job!

Residents are treated respectfully and with dignity. The biggest plus for this home is without doubt the staff, thank you.

A lovely and welcoming care home. Mum came to live in Bankview in June 25 and has thrived in the caring and supportive environment. Staff are very attentive and caring, always communicating important developments or changes in mum's condition. Peace of mind that she is safe and well cared for, as it was such a worry when she was no longer able to manage in her own home.

My stepdad has been in Bankview since August the care he has received is phenomenal there's always someone on hand wherever needed the staff are all very friendly and welcoming we are always kept up to date with everything that is need for his care

Our family couldn't be more grateful for the exceptional care our father receives at Bankview. We are continually struck by the welcoming atmosphere and genuine kindness of the staff. Every team member from carers and nurses to housekeeping and admin go above and beyond to make residents feel safe, respected and at home. The facilities are always clean, well maintained and thoughtfully arranged to provide comfort and safety. Activities are varied and engaging, frequent live music performances always brings smiles which is apparent from social media posts that helps keep our family involved in daily life in the home regardless of distance. We would highly recommend Bankview to anyone looking for compassionate and reliable care for a cherished loved one.

Staff always friendly and helpful. Look after my brother with care and consideration. Are always happy to answer our questions. We are very happy with my brother's care.
