Bankview Care Home is a 65 bed registered care facility specialising in dementia care.

The home is positioned within large, peaceful, wooded grounds and is conveniently located within easy reach of Stirling, Falkirk, Kilsyth and Cumbernauld and enjoys easy access to the M80.

All of the bedrooms have bright and spacious single bed accommodation with en-suite facilities for privacy and convenience. Rooms are located on one level and are complimented by four large lounges and a number of dining facilities, where residents can enjoy home cooked meals and afternoon tea with family and friends.

A varied activities programme is available to residents, and a number of dedicated reminiscence areas are located throughout the home to stimulate the residents' minds, and to help keep their memories from the past alive. The home has built up a fantastic reputation in the local community and often enjoys visits from Bankier Primary School and other neighbourhood friends.

A minibus is also available at the home for regular excursions, trips and visits to places of local interest.

Fees at Bankview will depend on the needs of the prospective resident; more information can be provided by the Service Manager in the home.

My sister moved into Bankview in May and from the beginning I have been very impressed with how welcoming all staff are; everyone is very friendly, approachable and helpful. The transition into Bankview was smooth and staff were able to put my mind at ease with regards to the next step for my sister's
care. My sister has settled in very well and is delighted with her room. We appreciate, as a family, the wide range of activities and experiences on offer that my sister can attend should she wish. I have observed positive interactions between the staff and my sister - and other residents - and the staff obviously work hard at building positive relationships with all residents. The environment itself is very welcoming, with care and attention given to how it is has been decorated for the benefit of the residents, and it is always clean and fresh. I know that my sister is being well cared for, safe and happy at Bankview which are my main priorities.

Bankview is the most nicest home I have seen, it is immaculate and the carers are all wonderful. Patients so well looked after, also visitors. Would recommend it to everyone definitely first class.

My mother was admitted into Bankview mid October. The process was very smooth and hassle free. The staff are always cheerful and there is always plenty of activities for the residents. Mum loved the days where singing and dancing took place. When mum took ill suddenly and was in her last days the care
and compassion from all the staff was exemplary. They are a credit to their profession.

My wife was a resident in Bankview for many years until she recently passed away.
The care she received during her time was exceptional, the empathy shown by the carers was a delight to see and was reflected by the responses from my wife. I cannot praise the staff high enough as each and everyone
contributed to her wellbeing and they are a credit to their profession. Anyone looking to place a loved on in a care home should look no further than Bankview and I have no hesitation in recommending the care home to all.

I remain extremely happy with the care my brother is receiving. Especially more so over the last few weeks when his condition deteriorated rapidly and unexpectedly. The staff have been excellent and are doing everything to keep my brother comfortable, pain free and settled.

My aunt has been in Bankview for two years now and is being very well looked after. The care home is lovely inside. The staff are always cheerful. From going through the door, felt at home. The receptionist was so pleasant and helpful/ Met a male member of staff who could not be more helpful. We were given tea and biscuits as we had arrived, we were shown around and shown to the room which was lovely. We were very impressed, my wife even said
she would be happy to stay there.

The staff go above and beyond to suit the needs of all the residents. Nothing is a bother to them and the staff are always friendly and cheery. They encourage the residents to participate in activities even if they seem unsure there's always a welcoming hug and lots of laughs to be had, and the parties

Could not ask for a better care home. The level of care and professionalism is fantastic. All the staff are so in tune with what my mum needs, it is great... When she needs to stay in bed, they still include her in activities and they know when she is not quite her usual self and stay on top of that...

Bankview is a first-class care home, the staff and manager are very friendly, and keep you well-informed of the resident's care, health and how they are getting on, we are phoned if there are any concerns. Initially, I was very apprehensive about having to put my mum into care as I had read so many bad experiences about the treatment of residents in care homes. However, I researched a few different homes, and after having read more positive reviews about Bbankview, I decided to put Mum there on 11/11/23.
I have been absolutely delighted with the level of care she's received. Not only have the facilities and activities have been very good, but the standard of care from staff and how they always treat her with dignity and respect has surpassed my expectations. I can't praise them enough.

Like all relatives, my intention was, that I would care for my wife at home, till the end. My health made that impossible, and I researched Care Homes in our surrounding area, and Bankview came out on top. I was advised by a friend, and professional in the field of care, beforehand, that, 'No care establishment
will provide the level of care that I provide', but, that they will do their best. Bankview provided a level of care that more than exceeded my expectations, to such an extent, that I was comfortable in referring to Bankview, as my wife's 'home address', where she was truly loved and respected, by all members of staff, and that from a man who would have never previously been comfortable in saying that. My wife passed away at home, in Bankview, surrounded by 'loved ones' (staff) and family. We are forever in debt to the staff for their professionalism, care, and love. I would highly recommend Bankview in such circumstances.

Having viewed Bankview before my mother was placed in the facility, I have no doubt I made the right decision to place her there. It has been a rollercoaster but the staff have been brilliant in looking after my mother's needs.
