The welcome from the staff puts you at ease right away and seeing how they treat my sister can't be put into words how grateful we are as a family knowing how well my sister is being cared for we had a lovely picnic outside last week when we visited what a treat being able to do these things. All I can add is a huge thanks to all the staff. God Bless

The first impression of entering the home, was very welcoming to us. Staff was very friendly and obliging. Most enjoyable garden party, the catering was lovely which my friend enjoyed. Family and staff chatting and helping one another.

Every time I visit my sister in Bankview, I am made welcome by all staff who are working each day; they are always cheerful, helpful and very caring. The area I pass through is clean (no smells), and I always find my sister content, clean and happy. Bankview, although a bit tired looking, does what it expected, it cares for those in its care extremely well. Whenever the residents are, there's always plenty of staff on hand. I'm very happy my sister is in the best of hands.

No prior experience of care homes but was very pleasantly surprised. Spotlessly clean throughout, superb rooms, great food and amazing staff who were very attentive, polite and courteous. The manager was fantastic and exceptionally helpful. The activities were great. Couldn't ask for any better in any way, catered for my dad's every need.

My aunt is very happy at Bankview and has flourished since she moved in back in March 2022. The carers and nursing staff are always helpful when I visit. It's a pity that it is not possible to visit the lounge and dining areas when I visit, as this would allow me to have a better idea of how she is in the areas where she spends most of her time.

I consider this home to be absolutely first rate in all respects. My mother recently passed away just short of her 102 birthday and she was happy, secure and very well cared for during her three-year stay at Bankview. We were informed every step of the way during lockdown. Covid control was rigorous. The leadership appeared very firm but fair. The staff showed endless patience and goodwill towards my mother. I would not hesitate to recommend Bankview to anyone in need of this kind of service and I want to thank the staff for all that they did for my mother - which was a lot.

First and foremost, Bankview staff have made us so welcome since my Dad joined the Bankview 'family' last year. They have kept us well informed of his wellbeing and guided us through such a difficult time with compassion and support. My Dad is treated with the utmost respect, helped to maintain as much independence as possible and he says he enjoys the good food which is a bonus. The standards of cleanliness are high and the ladies in green would brighten anyone's day as they go around their daily tasks. The carers and nurses have hearts of gold and are professional in every respect, we really couldn't ask for better! I would have no hesitation in recommending Bankview as a 'home from home' for a loved one when the time ever comes to make the hardest of decisions in seeking long term care.

My mum has been in the care of Bankview for approximately 6 weeks. I am very happy with the standard of care received so far. My mum looks very well cared for and she also says the staff are very good to her. The place is spotless and the staff are extremely helpful.

Since my husband was admitted to Bankview I am more than happy with the way the home is run. The staff are so dedicated and caring and I cannot praise them enough. The food is excellent and well presented. The activities staff do try to involve all residents which in turn helps with their fitness. I am kept informed on my husbands health and wellbeing. Communication is excellent. Overall an excellently run care home. The staff are brilliant.

Management of Bankview is excellent with many long-standing experienced staff. I don't think I will ever be able to fully convey my appreciation of the care my mum is given, particularly in the past two Covid years.

My dad has been in Bankview for over 8 months now and has settled in well. It has been a trying time for families and care staff since the start of the pandemic and I feel the care staff and management have gone above and beyond to meet the needs of my dad. The care home is well run and also very welcoming.

I would commend all the staff I have made contact with. They have answered all questions I have asked. May I also thank all the staff for their heroic efforts, during this pandemic.

Both my mother and father are now residents and I cannot speak highly enough for Bankview. All the staff, without exception, go above and beyond every day, to make sure my mum and dad are comfortable and happy. I cannot recommend Bankview highly enough.

We had concerns about my mum going into care as we knew it was not what she wanted but her dementia was taking over. The support and care the family and my mother received was excellent. Throughout the health crisis, we're going through the staff have taken care of Mum, kept her safe and have informed us of how she's doing. We feel that she is in the best place with the staff doing a brilliant job we can't praise them enough from the domestic right up to the management. Many thanks to everyone. Great care home

Our dad has been in the care home for a year and a half. The home has a very friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The management, nurses, carers are very approachable and always listen in a professional manner. The food is very good and Dad always enjoys his meals. The staff always inform about Dad's health. The home is well run and I would recommend Bankview to other families.

In conclusion, Bankview is a truly excellent care home and we hope that the staff continue with their excellent record of great care and as a team manage to get through these very difficult times.

Bankview Care Home during 2020, bought many different challenges for everyone. From my own personal experience, whilst visiting my father, I found the staff were always polite and remained positive. He was well presented and appeared to be well looked after. Sadly however, on 25th Sept 2020 my mother died in hospital. The manager allows myself and my uncle into the care home to break the news to my father. Every effort was made to keep us safe and the staff were very sympathetic. Visits continued outside, I did however feel that some kind of outside shelter could have been put in place. Also, the intercom system didn't always work terribly well. Overall my experience has been a good one.

I cannot recommend the staff highly enough. They gave us precious, carefree time to enjoy with Mum which was priceless.

My mum was with the Bankview family for 9 years and during that time her care was exemplary. She was cared for by the staff as if she was a family member, nothing was ever too much for them and they definitely looked after her in a manner beyond anything we could have hoped for. We have been made to feel so welcome during her stay and even during this last year with lockdown, we’re still contacted on a regular basis. They even made it easy for us to see Mum through her window. We can’t praise them highly enough. Outstanding care.
