A fantastic care home with a warm and friendly care team! From the minute you walked in the door you were greeted by the manager, and the secretary always had a cheery wave for you. The staff always had time to speak to you and a nurse was always available if you had any questions about Mum's care. My Mum was in the dementia unit, it had a lovely, happy atmosphere, nothing was too much trouble for the care team. I can't rate this care home highly enough and will miss visiting Henderson House.

What a great care home. My mother was so well looked after by all the staff. We could not have expected any more. She was so well cared for, and it gave my family the comfort knowing she was in a safe, secure and a well cared for environment. The staff were always very informative explaining in detail mum's state of health. Fabulous and thank you so much.

Overall the care that Mum is receiving is excellent. The carers are courteous to us as a family too. It's rewarding to see Mum thrive and she is enjoying her stay here. It's lovely to see this stage of her life being so dignified and seeing genuine care for her wellbeing. Nothing is too much trouble - and the food is just marvellous!

I want to thank all the staff for their excellent care of my Mum during her stay since November 2016. She changed from a bitter straggly haired skeleton to a lovely old lady through their dedicated love and care. I had the best relationship with her for years and when she passed away we spent the day with her sharing stories and memories until she drifted away. The staff cared for her even in death changing her nightie which meant so much. Thank you.

My parents have been at Henderson House since January 2017. Sadly, last month my mum passed away. The care, respect and dignity both my mum and dad have received at Henderson House particularly in the past few months is excellent. All the staff CARE for my parents. Now my dad is on his own and I was a little worried but he continues to be comfortable and happy. Thank you to all the staff.

On regular visits, usually monthly to a resident, I have found the staff to be welcoming and helpful. The resident appears to be happy and well cared for and, on the whole, speaks quite highly of their experiences there. Occasionally, there is a comment on the lack of choice at mealtimes and the quality of the food at times.

All of the staff are wonderful. They worked tirelessly to overcome challenging and complex issues when my father first became a resident. Happily, he is now enjoying his new home. I have already recommended Henderson House to friends for a relative who has since taken up residence. Besides the care, diligence and friendliness of the staff, it is very practical for us as Dalgety Bay residents that Henderson House is nearby.

I was impressed by the home on first and subsequent visits - clean, no smell and friendly staff. My friend was frail and latterly she resented being moved but staff were kind and patient at all times. I come in and different time of day without prior notice, thus staff were not expecting me.

I looked after my Husband for over 8 years with dementia, a triple bypass and 2 strokes, but after another stroke last year, which rendered him to be hoisted everywhere and incapable of feeding or doing anything for himself. I chose the home because the staff were really good with the patients without exception. I have no complaints on any front. He enjoys the food that is specially made for him, he reacts favourable to all the staff and regarding his hygiene, he is looked after very well. I visit regularly and can see he enjoys being here and I have no complaints about his welfare.

We, as a family, are immensely happy about the care my Dad receives at Henderson House Care Home. We would and could not have picked a better place for him, the staff are exceptional and really care about the residents and that is important for a good life for him.
