Staff have welcomed and helped my mum to settle into Maryfield. She has enjoyed activities and outings. She has had access to a GP when required and the family is updated on any changes. Mum enjoys the meals. Seems happy and content.

This is a very well-run home and the careers are very friendly, they pay good attention to the resident's needs and are very attentive. They also have lots of entertainment on for the people in the home, and do lots of trips too!

I am always impressed with the exemplary, person-centred care provided to my grandma since moving to Maryfield West. The staff are all very engaging with the residents and the atmosphere is always very welcoming. The communication between the staff is of a very high standard and it’s demonstrated in
the care provided to my grandmother. As a family, we always feel involved and are regularly updated on any care change needs. The nursing staff are always very conscientious and act on any deterioration fast and follow on to other services promptly. We are always impressed by the range of activities organised in Maryfield and outings, we especially enjoy being able to see my grandma on social media and most importantly enjoying herself. Thank you for everything you do for her and continue to do for her!

My mum's only been in about a month or so. The staff are friendly, when they see you they always say hello, even if they are with another resident. The activities that go on in there are great, they take them out if they are able to go out and the children from the local school come over to see them
and sing songs to them which is very heartwarming. Every time I go in, it’s almost their coffee time and the staff offer you a cup of tea or coffee, which is nice of them. I feel at ease knowing my mum's being looked after properly.

The team at Maryfield West has done a fantastic job looking after Mum. The standard of care is very high, and the staff are kind and competent. I have always been amazed at how many wonderful activities are arranged each week, such as special meals/teas, music events, games, crafts, visits from the
school children and trips out. I think these things make a big contribution to the residents' happiness.
Everyone is very friendly, and the staff have also been particularly kind and understanding with my dad during his visits to Mum.

The care shown to my grandmother is above and beyond. It is so sad seeing her living her final years away from her home and family, but due to her dementia, we can’t provide the care she needs, and the staff at Maryfield are the closest thing to family care. They are positive, caring and friendly. The
staff make a care home; everything else comes second, and knowing your loved one is being genuinely cared for is the most important element.

Care for my mum by the carers at Maryfield West is excellent. She is happy and content in her surroundings and given the support she needs when she requires it. The staff are all very welcoming when you go to visit.

We could not be happier with the high standard of care provided at Maryfield West Nursing Home. The staff are caring and attentive to my mum, and friendly and welcoming to family and friends who visit. There are varied activities on offer every day and it is especially nice to see photos of participation
in them. It is reassuring to know my mum is happy and being so well looked after. I would not hesitate to recommend the home to others.

I am so grateful for the respite place given to my wife whose mental confusion was impossible to manage at home. The staff have been able to do things like inducing her to eat, take medication and see to personal care, all in a most professional way. Above all they have been kind to me, enabling me
to, at last, give up daily responsibility. My wife is withdrawn and frequently unresponsive and uncooperative, but they persevere nonetheless. I wish she could appreciate the care given to her, but I certainly do!

I am very assured that my mum is so well cared for in Maryfield Nursing Home.
All the staff are very polite and professional having the interests of my mum and all the residents at the heart of their tasks.
I have to say they have all made me feel relaxed during the last 2 years of the pandemic with
the knowledge that Mum was so well looked after in care, nursing, medication, excellent food and activities, ensuring all major events are celebrated. Rooms and facilities are excellent with the bonus of a superb garden to sit out in for fresh air.
Also after the lockdowns, they are taken on visits in the minibus, also being taken to the local coffee shops.
I am extremely happy with the support given to my mum each day and night.

My brother was admitted to Maryfield West Nursing Home Aberdeen on the 20th September 2021 due to a change in his care needs. Since then I have spoken to several members of staff both on the telephone and in person about my brother's current care needs. They have been extremely kind and helpful and
very informative and I feel completely reassured about the standard of care my brother is receiving and how I can support this with the help and advice of all staff involved with my brothers care. All staff I have encountered have been professional, caring, kind, helpful and have reassured me that the transition to this care facility for my brother is the best that can be found for him in Aberdeen.
