My father, although only a resident for a short time, was looked after really well in all aspects of care. So refreshing to meet so many caring and efficient staff. A pleasure and comfort to know that my father was being so well looked after. Most definitely recommended Persley Castle Nursing Home.

Dad moved into Persley Castle last November, the management and staff are just lovely, welcoming and friendly. They are open and transparent in their communication.
The home is clean and tidy.
Within the first month, Dad had put on four kilos in weight, which was good.

Dad has settled well and now feels safe with those who care for him.

Mum is very well looked after; she is always clean and happy. Mum's dementia means that she struggles to join in with some activities, but this doesn't deter the staff from including her, which we as a family appreciate. I would have no hesitation in recommending Persley Castle, the manager and her staff to anyone looking for a home for their relative.

My wife has been in Persley Castle since April 2022, and I have nothing but praise for the home and all the staff. All the staff are attentive and caring, always have time for myself when I'm visiting. She is always well-dressed. The home put on themed events, and the food at those are better than at some restaurants. I would have no hesitation in recommending the home to anyone.

My sister has been in Persley Castle Nursing Home for two years, and my family and I have been very pleased with the care she receives. We are especially impressed with the cleanliness and the very efficient running of the care home. There is always some activity for the residents to take part in, also a beautiful garden for them to enjoy. My sister-in-law and I enjoy our visits to the care home and are always made to feel welcome. Thank you all.

The approach to the nursing home is beautiful and the welcome from the staff is always friendly and cheery. We are very satisfied that all aspects of care is delivered in the best interests of my sister-in-law. She is happy and content and enjoys her food which is always well presented. The staff show kindness and care to all and entertain them well with musical programmes and outside activities. The rooms are clean and tidy and no urine smell on entering the building as I noted in other homes. Money doesn't buy happiness, kindness and care and going the extra mile does. Well done.

Mum and Dad have been residents since March 2020, and I could not be happier with the care that they have received. Staff are very attentive and ready to answer any queries I have. Excellent attention is given to birthdays, anniversaries etc. Had an excellent Jubilee celebration - great effort goes into making all special times of the year too. My parents are always clean, tidy and happy, and encouraged to participate. They especially enjoy helping in the garden.

Mum was moved from a care home to Persley Castle. The previous home could not meet mum's complex needs. We were anxious about the move due to high-level care needs, severe skin condition and progressive dementia. Well, we shouldn’t have worried as from day one they had everything under control. New GP visit sorted, medication review done, skin condition treated, all mum's physical and emotional needs met. Mum's quality of life has improved and social interaction increased. Persley is one big caring family. We can rest knowing that even during lockdown mum was being well cared for. Management has their eye on the ball knowing their resident's needs whilst involving families. Staff team all very friendly and knowledgeable of mum's needs.

My mother always looks very happy, clean and well-fed. She is encouraged to join in games when in the lounge, which I regard a very important in her condition. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and genuinely helpful. I am very relieved my mum was placed in Persley Castle.

Staff always pleasant and helpful when I have visited either outside or inside the past two weeks. As my mother only went into the home in August 2020, have not seen inside properly, but from what I have seen, it's very tidy and well looked after. The activities coordinator is very good at encouraging the residents to join in and always keeps us informed too. Management is always approachable and very helpful too.

The care that Persley castle provides is excellent, the love and care from all staff to the residents is above and beyond expectations. They have kept us updated with regular Facebook pictures which puts our minds at rest. We owe them a debt of gratitude for their dedication and hard work during the pandemic.

It's always a pleasure to visit the home before lockdown as staff are friendly and caring. As a family, we have been overwhelmed with the care given to our aunt.
