All of our staff are committed to providing the best possible care experience for all of our residents and it is very rewarding to have their efforts recognised.
A home from home. Always made to feel welcome. Carers are amazing and connect very well with the residents. Nursing staff are approachable and helpful. All other staff (kitchen, cleaners, laundry, handyman) are very much part of the caring, family atmosphere.

I am very happy staying at Dounemount. All the staff treat me well. A trip was organised for me to go to Elgin shopping and out to Baxters for a pancake, I had a great day.

We had the local spotty bag shop over for a pop up afternoon , lots to see and buy , residents like to spend some pennies
We had a lovley day trip to Balmoral Castle. This was on the bucket list for a while and finally got round to do it. Lovely weather and a great...
Nice to have been able to get out and about after all the snow, know one will ever tire of this view.

Amanda has been with the company since 2011 and progressed to home manager in 2021. She holds an SVQ4 and a Leadership and Management qualification. Amanda is always happy to show people around the home and answer any questions.
Sally joined the Dounemount team in Autumn 2025 as a nurse. She has now become the Clinical Deputy Manager.
Julie has Several years of experience in Administration-based roles, always happy and willing to help out.
Registered General Nurse with years of knowledge and experience.
Adele joined the team in 2025 as a Registered Nurse and has recently become clinical lead.

Angela joined the Dounemount Team as a Carer in 2025 and has now worked her way up to be team lead.

Mark came to Dounemount as Head chef in 2024. Making all these delicious foods for the residents to enjoy, and also looking at the like and dislikes of what each resident.
Jane works in the kitchen making a range of delicious foodstuffs for the residents of Dounemount.
Shona works in the kitchen alongside the Cook.
Before starting her shift every morning she goes and says hello to all the residents & Staff.
Zaneta works in the kitchen alongside the Cook.
Claire is our head of the department and has many years of experience.
Michelle works in Dounemount ensuring that the rooms and communal areas are kept clean and tidy.
Frances works with the domestic team at Dounemount keeping the bedrooms and communal areas clean and tidy.
Monika works evenings in the laundry and also across the floor as a domestic.
Heather works in the Laundry at Dounemount.
Also helps out with residents' outings.
Corrine has been employed by Dounemount for nearly 10 years and holds an SVQ2.
Amrita is a night carer here at Dounemount.
Emma has been part of the Team at Dounemount since 2018, holds her SVQ 2, and works as a night carer.
Beth works as a care assistant at Dounemount and holds her SVQ2
Roseanne has been part of the Dounemount team since 2017, and works as a night shift carer.
Maria joined the team at Dounemount in 2025 as a carer. She is currently working towards the completion of her SVQ Level 2.
