Havencourt care home offers residential and nursing care to up to 42 older people.

The home is located in the seaside town of Stonehaven, where residents can enjoy local amenities, a railway station and the North Sea.

My gran gets the best care from dedicated and diligent staff. It's a beautiful and calm environment that is homely for her.
The manager goes above and beyond for her residents, providing individual care and support. We couldn't ask for better.

Overall, I am very pleased with the care that my husband is receiving. The staff are friendly, welcoming and courteous to both my husband and myself. The staff are respectful with all the visitors & residents, with a good understanding of each resident's needs. (This is my own opinion in observing them
going about their duties.)
The environment has improved greatly over the past year, and the atmosphere is homely.
I find the management very approachable, and any concerns are listened to and dealt with promptly, and feedback is given.
A special mention for the activities that are offered, which residents take part in, should they wish to.

The care my wife receives is fantastic, I have noticed how happy and settled she is. All the staff chat to her and do all the can to make sure she has everything she needs. She loves going out on the orgnaised outings.

I find all the staff excellent in their caring nature with everyone in the care home. The nursing staff keep one advised as to the health of the residents and their welfare is to my mind excellent. The residents are very lucky to have such wonderful staff in all areas of the home.

The home has had a huge overhaul over the last six months and exceeds our expectations. The cleanliness has improved 100% and the food quality and experience have improved. The staff are all fantastic, all the new carriers and long-standing are firm favourites. There is plenty of activities on and the
staff all join in to make the residents smile. The management are always available to help and rectify any issues that occur.

Twenty-four years ago both of my parents were in care homes, whilst my wife and I were not entirely happy with the care that they provided; they were still our best option. Before choosing Havencourt, I had visited several care homes and was impressed by how much they had improved, but Havencourt stood
out for the very friendly and relaxed atmosphere at the home. My wife settled in quickly and appears to be happy and contented, and I know that she's getting the professional care that I was no longer able to provide at home. I feel strongly that the right choice was made.

I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a care home for their family member. All the staff are really nice and genuinely seem to care for their residents nothing is too much bother. The home always has lots of activities. Good food, snacks etc., with good communication/updates.

My mum was in Havencourt Care Home for 6 months before she passed away in April. She settled very quickly when she moved in and had a very happy few months there. The staff at Havencourt are a great team and Mum enjoyed a lot of activities, particularly the ballroom dancing. I found the communication
great as I do not live locally and any time I called I got to speak to whoever was looking after Mum that day. Spending more time at Havencourt when my Mums health deteriorated made me realise how much of a homely feel the place has and how happy the residents are. The home has a great team of professionals who are well organised, care very much about the residents and are a great support to relatives.

The care given to my dad was excellent, with regular updates. Havencourt Care Home is a very friendly well run care home and great communication with the Home Manager. Meals were varied and all home cooked.
Overall view, Havencourt is a very cosy care home.

My uncle has been a resident at Havencourt Care Home for several years, but sadly passed away in the home yesterday. We are very grateful for the extra special care that he received during the last week of his life when he deteriorated and was unable to do anything for himself, the staff went over and
above their duties to make sure he was comfortable and pain free. As a family, we are very grateful for the care he has been shown during his time there, and in particular latterly.
I couldn’t recommend Havencourt more and thank them for their professional care.

The staff have worked hard to welcome Mum into the setting.
They have provided a professional but friendly service to cater for Mum's needs.
We have found communication with all the settings easy through face to face conversation, phone calls and emails.
The setting has a homely atmosphere with

Mum loves her spa days where she gets pampered for the day.

Mum has been a resident of Havencourt since July 2022. Her transition into the care home system has been made easier by the very kind, considerate, professional staff who make sure all her needs are met, and nothing seems to be too much trouble. We, as a family, feel the care manager and all the staff
are very approachable and always keep us fully updated, which we really appreciate. They are always willing to listen and take on board any of our requests and are keen for us to be involved. The home is always clean, tidy and warm; it has a really comfortable, homely feel.

My mother was in for two weeks respite, and during that time all the staff were kind and friendly, a nice young carer styled Mum's hair, she was so pleased with this.
