My mother moved to Kynnaird a few weeks ago and she has settled in well and loves it The staff are exceptionally kind and the Manager is fantastic, very welcoming to our family and ensuring my mum is happy. Her room is lovely and its a joy to us seeing her settle in well and making new friends.My granny was a resident at Kynnaird many years ago and she was so happy there, that when the time came that my mum needed 24hr care there wasnt anywhere else we would of wanted her to be. Kynnaird has such a welcoming homely feeling and it is all thanks to the management and staff creating such a loving and caring environment.

The way she has settled into the home has been excellent.
The care staff have been wonderful making it really easy for her to feel at home, she has been really well looked after, they spotted that she had a chest infection and organized the necessary treatment, there are lots of activities each day for her to be involved in.
The rooms i.e. bedroom, dinning area and lounge, are always spotlessly clean with cleaning staff taking a real pride in their work.
The food has been really good and my mothers appetite has improved since she has arrived.
It is always a pleasure to visit with staff who care about their work.

I find that my wife is being looked after here in Kynnaird very well by staff and she is well fed and her needs are attended to in no time. My wife used to sing and dance in her younger years, that is why she is so happy when staff dance and sing with her when there is a concert in the home.

I am delighted with the overall care my Dad receives at Kynnaird House. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and the ethos of care and compassion comes from the Manager herself. All my Dad's needs are attended to and respected. Although my Dad chooses not to participate in activities, the staff do so much for their residents, always thinking and planning for new ways to enhance their days.

Really pleased with the care my mam gets at Kynaird House. The staff are excellent, very caring and you can ask them anything. No matter when I go in my mam is always Bonnie dressed and clean. The home itself is very clean as well. You are always made welcome when you go in and that includes all the staff at the home. It is a massive burden lifted from me knowing my mam is safe and well looked after. They put on different things through the year that the families can go to and they are really good Would just like to thank everybody at Kynaird for the excellent care my mam is getting since she went into the home in March.

Our experience so far has been very good. Mum is happy there and is getting on well she is very fond of the staff and the interaction is very good. Mum has not been there long but settled in well and that is due to staff.

The staff at Kynnaird House have all been wonderful. They have all been kind, encouraging and extremely patient with my relative. they have put a lot of effort into optimising pain relief and assisting with physiotherapy. Since moving into the nursing home my friend has had excellent care. she is in a warm environment, is provided with a good choice of meals and has companionship when she wants it. Physically she is well cared for with needs attended to promptly. Outside services are employed when necessary and acted upon quickly. Members of staff are friendly and encouraging. They listen to and act upon any requests made. Overall, she is warm, safe and has company around.

Roselle is one of the long-standing members of the Meallmore team. In October 2022 Roselle was appointed as care home manager of Kynnaird House where she has worked for the last 20 years. Before this Roselle was deputy manager for three years. Roselle joined Kynnaird in November 2004, where she started as a senior carer having moved to Scotland from the Philippines. Commencing on her experience with Meallmore, Roselle loves her job. There's a lovely culture and she really likes the residents and the staff, she feels that everyone was so kind, friendly and accommodating- which for Roselle they become like a family. At the very beginning, she feels that Kynnaird is her home.

Angelica completed her degree in Biology in 2005 and gained her Nursing degree and Qualification in the Philippines in 2008, where she started as a staff nurse building her clinical experience before moving abroad. Angelica was working as a Nursing Supervisor in one of the Care Homes in the United Arab Emirates before joining Meallmore as a Staff Nurse in 2020 then promoted to Clinical Lead Position in 2023 and worked her way up to Deputy Manager Position in 2024.
As a Deputy Manager at Kynnaird, Angelica is committed to ensuring the highest standards of care and support for the residents, fostering a safe and nurturing environment. Angelica’s passion lies in enhancing the resident’s quality of life, and she thrives on building strong relationships with both residents and their families as well as her colleagues. Angelica leads
and mentor her team and promote professional development and teamwork. In her free time, Angelica likes to read and spend her time with her loved ones and friends as she believes that a well-rounded life enhances the ability to care for others.

Lesley is a dedicated and passionate Chef to Kynnaird. She started as an assistant cook in August 2017 and then was promoted to head chef in 2022. Lesley has experience in preparing nutritious and delicious meals tailored to meet the dietary needs of our residents. She is knowledgeable about food safety regulations and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
Lesley works closely with the care team to create meal plans that promote health and well-being while also considering the preferences of our residents. Has a positive attitude, creativity in meal preparation, and has the ability to work collaboratively as essential. She loves cooking and has a desire to make a difference in the lives of others

Rachel began her journey in Kynnaird as a Care Assistant and quickly progressed to Senior Carer, showcasing her dedication and passion for providing exceptional care. She then took on the role of Housekeeping Supervisor, where she further demonstrated her commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents.
As our Administrator, Rachel brings a wealth of experience and a strong understanding of the care home environment. In this role, she is responsible for managing administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with regulations, coordinating schedules, and supporting the overall operations of the care home. Her passion for every position she has held shines through in her work, and we are confident that she will continue to enhance our team and contribute to the quality of care we provide.

Chelsey began her journey with us at just 16 years old as a Housekeeping Assistant, demonstrating her commitment to our care home from a young age. At 18, she transitioned into a caring role, where she developed strong relationships with our residents and gained valuable experience in providing compassionate care. Two years ago, Chelsey took on the role of Activity Organizer, where she truly shines.
As our Activity Organizer, Chelsey is responsible for planning and facilitating engaging activities that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and overall well-being for our residents. She designs a diverse program of events tailored to the interests and abilities of our residents, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate and enjoy meaningful experiences. Chelsey's enthusiasm and creativity make her an invaluable member of our team, and she is committed to enriching the lives of those in our care.

Gemma is our Housekeeping Supervisor, a role she has embraced since joining us in January this year. Despite her relatively short time in this position, Gemma has already proven herself to be a committed and effective leader in our housekeeping team.
As the Housekeeping Supervisor, Gemma is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of our care home, ensuring that all areas meet high standards of hygiene and comfort for our residents. She manages the housekeeping staff, coordinates daily tasks, and implements best practices to maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Gemma's dedication to her role and her attention to detail make her an essential part of our team.

Ionel began his career with us at Meallmore nine years ago as a Care Assistant, where he developed a deep understanding of our residents' needs. Two years ago, he transitioned into the maintenance role, bringing his expertise and dedication to ensuring our care home operates smoothly.
In his position as Maintenance Man, Ionel is responsible for the upkeep and repair of the facility, addressing any issues that arise promptly and efficiently. His commitment to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment has made a significant difference in our home, and his proactive approach ensures that our residents can enjoy their surroundings without concern.
