The staff are great and very compassionate towards residents. Always very pleasant and polite. Any concerns we have when things go wrong are dealt with quickly and in a professional manner. The only negative would be the room cleanliness could be better.

Kynnaird is a very homely place and it’s a pleasure to go and visit my mother there. She is well cared for even though she is failing and she likes the people who care for her and the nurses. They have a lot of patience. The administration side of things are well run. A difficult job well done.

My mum seems warm and comfortably settled on most visits. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I am aware that the resident-carer ratio is not on a high scale which makes carers' jobs harder and so the resident gets less time. More staff would benefit everyone. Regular emails or other means of communication would be welcome also.

I am very pleased with the care provided to my mother. She is well looked after, and all the staff are very friendly and attentive to the residents they care for, especially during the pandemic, where I am sure things must be difficult at times.

Before this Roselle was deputy manager for three years. Roselle joined Kynnaird in November 2004, where she started as a senior carer having moved to Scotland from the Philippines. Commencing on her experience with Meallmore, Roselle loves her job. There's a lovely culture and she really likes the residents and the staff, she feels that everyone was so kind, friendly and accommodating- which for Roselle they become like a family.
